This was normal.
As cultivation deepened, the accumulation required was enormous. Even if the quantity seemed less, the quality of the tribulation far surpassed the past.
Even so, the sheer strength of these two stacked layers was many times greater than the five layers he had endured before.

A blue scythe appeared in his hand, its blade flickering with cold light.

Two golden thunder dragons condensed in the sky, roaring as they descended like heavenly punishment.
Ethan narrowed his eyes. His gaze became sharp enough to pierce through the storm. Without hesitation, he leaped into the air, scythe held tightly, and clashed head-on with the thunder dragons.
