Chapter 89 - Chapter 88: Post-Production Completed — Released Immediately

The two exchanged a glance, suppressing the shock in their hearts.

"Since the song has already been recorded, how long will post-production roughly take?" Gangzi asked.

"With this software? About the time it takes to finish a meal," Zhang Yichen replied casually.

As he spoke, he dragged the freshly recorded audio file into the editing window with his mouse.

"So fast?" Ah Hua pulled out a chair and sat down, his eyes fixed on Zhang Yichen's movements. "I thought we'd have to wait at least three to five days."

Gangzi stood nearby with his arms folded, a trace of scrutiny in his gaze.

"Your software seems pretty good. The efficiency is impressive."

Zhang Yichen chuckled softly, his fingers flying across the keyboard.

"It won't take that long."

Then his eyes shifted toward Chen Xiaoxi.

A faint blush still lingered on her cheeks, and there was a hint of fatigue in her eyes.

"Sister Xiaoxi, let's eat at home tonight. Go arrange for Hotel to deliver the food," Zhang Yichen said gently, concern evident in his voice.

He knew she had spent the entire afternoon recording songs without rest. She must have been exhausted.

This was the perfect time for her to take a break while he handled post-production.

Besides, eating at home had already been discussed earlier between Zhang Yichen, Ah Hua, and Gangzi.

They still had a livestream scheduled for the evening, and there simply wouldn't be time to head out to a restaurant.

Chen Xiaoxi nodded and stood up. Her steps were slightly unsteady, but her gaze remained determined.

"Alright, I'll arrange it now."

Zhang Yichen watched her leave the practice room before turning back to focus on the audio editing on his screen.

His fingers danced lightly across the keyboard, occasionally adjusting parameters, his eyes gleaming with concentration.

Ah Hua leaned back in his chair, glancing between the computer screen and the practice room setup.

"Brother Lin, is this software easy to operate?"

Zhang Yichen smiled faintly, his voice calm and confident.

"Brother Hua, I developed this software myself. It's designed for convenience. If you're interested, I can let you use it for free, but…"

He paused.

In truth, he had no intention of letting people use it entirely for free.

The reason was simple…

With this software, there was no longer a need for professional bands to produce accompaniment.

Post-production for songs also became much simpler.

Overall, recording a song would save both time and money.

For entertainment companies, its value was enormous.

Of course, some might criticize it for lacking soul.

"But what?" Ah Hua asked.

"But you'll need to join 'Joy' and post a video announcing your entry," Zhang Yichen said with a hint of cunning, looking directly at Ah Hua as he waited for his reaction.

Ah Hua raised an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at his lips.

"So you're trying to recruit me? Not a bad condition… but I'll need to think about it."

Gangzi snorted lightly and interjected, "You kid really do have a business mind. But is your software really as amazing as you claim?"

Zhang Yichen didn't answer. Instead, he tapped the keyboard a few times and pressed the play button.

Instantly, the processed version of Heaven and Earth Dragon Scales filled the practice room. The sound quality was crisp, the emotion vivid—even the faintest breathing was perfectly preserved.

This was something Zhang Yichen had produced during Chen Xiaoxi's short break after recording.

Ah Hua's eyes lit up. He leaned forward slightly, as if wanting to experience the music more closely.

"Not bad. The result is much better than expected."

Though Gangzi still kept a straight face, the flicker of approval in his eyes betrayed his true thoughts.

"This software of yours… it's got real potential."

Just then, Chen Xiaoxi pushed the door open and walked in.

"Dinner will be ready soon. When will you finish?"

While working on Rise, Zhang Yichen answered without lifting his head.

"Almost done."

It didn't take long before Chen Xiaoxi's Rise was also completed.

Now, Ah Hua and Gangzi no longer had any doubts.

The two were already preparing to join "Joy"

After all… they wanted that software too.

Once post-production was finished, Zhang Yichen casually uploaded both songs to "Joy."

It was bound to happen sooner or later.

Uploading now would also increase download numbers during the livestream.

"Alright, let's go eat. We've been busy all afternoon—everyone must be starving."

After finishing everything, Zhang Yichen led everyone upstairs to the dining room.

The moment they entered, Ah Hua and Gangzi were instantly drawn to the baby.

They hadn't expected a few-month-old infant to be in the villa.

More importantly, the child bore a striking resemblance to Zhang Yichen—seven or eight parts similar.

Both were perceptive people, and they immediately realized the child's relationship with Zhang Yichen wasn't ordinary.

However, whether the child's mother was Chen Xiaoxi or Li Yue, they couldn't tell.

Naturally, they tactfully chose not to ask.

After all, everyone had their own secrets.

At this moment, the dining table was already filled with dishes, their aroma making mouths water.

At Zhang Yichen's invitation, the two didn't hold back.

Ah Hua sat down first, picked up a piece of braised pork, and nodded in satisfaction after tasting it.

"Delicious. No wonder it's Hotel's signature dish."

Gangzi also sat down. Though his movements remained steady, his expression had visibly relaxed.

He took a sip of tea and glanced at Zhang Yichen.

"Brother Lin, your software is impressive, but is it possible that in some areas it still falls short compared to professional teams?"

Zhang Yichen picked up a piece of steamed sea bass and answered after chewing thoughtfully,

"Brother Gang, you're right. No matter how powerful software is, it can't completely replace people."

"But its biggest advantage is speed and flexibility. For songs that don't require complex arrangements, it can handle everything independently."

"Of course, for large productions or concerts, professional teams are still necessary. Otherwise, it always feels like something is missing."

Ah Hua looked at him with interest.

"So how do you plan to promote this software? And how will you charge for it?"

Zhang Yichen smiled, a shrewd glint flashing in his eyes.

"This software has a very niche audience, so there's no real need for large-scale promotion. As for charges, it'll be based on usage."

The moment he said that, Ah Hua and Gangzi understood.

Only people involved in music production would need this software—promotion wouldn't be very useful.

Charging per use was the most reasonable approach.

After all… the software didn't rely on traffic or mass users.
