The Amazon warriors turned and ran at once. Lin Chen waited until they had all rushed through the stone gate, then scooped up a badly injured warrior with one hand, flew out, and landed on solid ground.
He took out healing talismans, placed them on the wounds of two injured warriors, and pressed several acupoints to stop the bleeding.

Steppenwolf laughed, smashing Diana's shield and knocking her back several meters.
"Hahaha! All of you will be mine! The Amazons, the daughter of the old gods!"
"That pretty boy isn't my match at all!"
Lin Chen finally shook free of the crowd."Wait! I'm coming to save my wife!"
With a thunderous boom, he flew in, summoned the Heavenly Master Sword, and activated the Five-Thunder Daoist Art.
"Die, you wasteland wolf!"
Boom!Dozens of purple lightning bolts crashed down onto Steppenwolf.
Steppenwolf screamed, his face twisting in agony.
Staggering upright, he stared in shock.
"How do you know who I am?!"
"You owe Darkseid fifty thousand worlds," Lin Chen said as he helped Diana up."You hit my wife? You're tired of living."
Queen Hippolyta studied Lin Chen in amazement.
"Diana… you actually married such a handsome and powerful man behind my back?"
The more she looked at him, the more satisfied she became.
"So young, so capable… I suddenly want to go to the human world myself."
Steppenwolf nearly exploded.
"This bastard is flirting with his in-laws in front of me?!"
He swung his axe."Die, pretty boy!"
"Try it!"
Lin Chen raised the Heavenly Master Sword. They clashed, both sliding back—but Lin Chen was pushed farther.
Steppenwolf sneered."You're almost as strong as me. What are you?"
"Almost? Who are you looking down on?"
Lin Chen unleashed Guiguzi Sword Arts combined with Taiji's force-deflection.
Steppenwolf felt miserable. He was clearly stronger, yet every strike slipped away.
"What kind of fighting style is this?!"
"Tai Chi. Too advanced for you."
"I was nearly king of Apokolips! You dare belittle me?!"
Lin Chen suddenly flung over a dozen inverted-emblem talismans that stuck to Steppenwolf's armor.
Steppenwolf stepped forward—and suddenly slipped on a stone.
"AHHH!"
He fell into a perfect horse stance.
Pain exploded between his legs.
Lin Chen burst out laughing."What, losing so badly you started doing acrobatics?"
"Why am I so unlucky?!" Steppenwolf roared—just as sand and gravel flew into his mouth.
Hippolyta pulled Diana."What did your husband do to him?"
"Inverted-emblem spell. It reverses your luck," Diana smiled.
"Your husband's magic is a bit… vicious."
Steppenwolf tore off the talismans furiously.
"I get it now. Then you die!"
He raised his arm."Kill him, my sons!"
Lin Chen smirked."Summoning minions? That's cute."
He threw a Fire Dragon Talisman into the air.
"ROAR!"
A massive flaming dragon erupted, breathing fire across the sky. Demons screamed as they burned to ash.
The Amazons cheered.
"So handsome!""So strong!"
Steppenwolf looked around. He was alone.
The fire dragon rushed him.
He grabbed the Mother Box from the ground.
"OM!"
A portal opened.
"I will come for you!" Steppenwolf roared.
"I'm a Taoist priest," Lin Chen replied."You're welcome anytime."
Steppenwolf laughed as the portal activated.
"At least I got a Mother Box!"
Suddenly—
"Whoosh!"
The Mother Box flew straight into Lin Chen's hands.
"No!!!"
Steppenwolf vanished through the portal, empty-handed.
The Queen smiled proudly at Diana.
"You found yourself a very good man."
Before she could speak further, dozens of Amazon warriors swarmed Lin Chen again.
"Are you hurt?""Wow, look at those abs!""Your arms are amazing!"
Hippolyta shouted,"What are you doing?! Step back! That's my son-in-law!"
They all backed away awkwardly.
Lin Chen winked at them, then looked at Hippolyta."You're Diana's sister? The Queen?"
Hippolyta touched her face happily."Young man, you're very honest. I like you more the longer I look."
Diana snapped,"That's my mother! Hippolyta!"
"Mother, this is my boyfriend—Lin Chen."
Hippolyta leaned in and whispered,"Actually, she's not my biological daughter. I picked her up."
Diana stared into the sky.
Lin Chen wrapped his arm around Diana's waist.
"Queen, she's your daughter."
Hippolyta laughed."Alright, I was teasing. Come! Let's drink and celebrate Diana's return!"
At the banquet, Lin Chen was completely overwhelmed.
"Drink more, benefactor!""If you don't drink, you disrespect me!""Stay a few more days, consort!"
Even Diana got drunk.
Lin Chen drank until everything went black.
When he woke the next day, his head throbbed and his waist was sore.
He cast a purification spell and regained clarity.
"I actually got drunk… These Amazons are terrifying."
Just then, a system voice sounded:
