It was already late, and the search ended with Godfrey nowhere in sight. She couldn't reach him since they weren't connected telepathically, nor could she retrieve herself into his chamber.
At the dining table, Christine turned to Arthur Pendragon before looking at Isolde, who had not touched her food.
"What is it?" she asked, lowering her cutlery.
When Isolde lifted her head, Arthur spoke. "Tomorrow is your day, you have to be prepared physically and mentally, so… eat."
"I don't have the appetite." Isolde exhaled, tilting her head in different directions as if waiting for someone to pop out of nowhere. She sighed and left the dining room, sulking.
Christine and Arthur looked at themselves, guessing it might be the pressure of the occasion.
