Back when Godfrey held Ken, none of them realized something invisible moved downstairs. It had been standing idly below the ladder all this while but suddenly moved.
Each step took this invisible being straight to Kazuo's room. Then, the shoji door slid open, revealing a large room.
It didn't have much, just a bed with Kazuo lying on top. The moment the shoji door slid open, Kazuo smirked.
"Did they eat?" He tilted his head toward the door, but there was no one there, just darkness.
Kazuo sat up. "Yuna?" He frowned.
His window was wide open, and the soft moonlight flooded his room. The corridor was quite dark, but the soft glow should have allowed him to see whoever opened that door.
"It will soon be time for the sacrifice, Yuna. How about you agree to get married to me? I can protect you." He raised an eyebrow.
"Yuna!" Kazuo yelled, assuming she was taking precautionary steps to ensure he didn't do anything funny.
