"Turn it into my shape…"
"Well said, keep it up!" Mu Yang clapped with a perfectly blank expression, palms popping crisply.
"…Boss Mu, could you at least make an expression?" Tony's face collapsed. "With that deadpan look of yours, I feel like you're mocking me."
"You're overthinking it. If I wanted to mock you, I'd say it directly." Mu Yang explained, "I'm expressionless because I've heard lines like that far too often. A lot of people love shouting that sort of thing."
"And the word 'future' always makes me think of a certain lever. If I don't keep a straight face, I'd probably start laughing."
Tony: "…"
Thank you for the explanation.I feel… even worse now.
"What's wrong?"
Mu Yang looked at Tony Stark, confused about why he suddenly stopped talking.
How was he supposed to answer? Tell him he felt discouraged?
Just as Tony was about to change the subject, Rhode pushed open the door, holding up a piece of busted metal.
"Tony…"
He only managed two words before noticing the room full of people and the obviously-not-from-Earth Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. His mouth twitched. "Looks like I came at a bad time."
"No, you came at the perfect time."
Tony walked over, patting Rhodes on the shoulder.
Thank you for saving me, my friend.
Then he looked at the metal piece in Rhode's hand. "What are you doing with that scrap iron?"
"You might not believe it, but this chunk is a fragment of the Iron Man armor you gave me."
Rhode shrugged. "A little while back, during a mission, some superpowered guy smashed my suit apart. It turned into junk metal…"
"So…" Tony looked at him.
Rhode pointed at the ceiling. "Someone told me to ask you for a stronger one."
"And do you want one?" Tony asked.
"Me?" Rhode shrugged again. "To be honest? Very much."
"Sorry, Boss Mu." Tony turned to Mu Yang. "Excuse me for a bit."
After saying that, Tony took Rhode downstairs toward the garage.
On the other side…
Kayaba Akihiko had finished giving a basic introduction to Aincrad—no detailed explanations.
After all, Aincrad had 100 floors. Fully explaining each one would take an eternity.
"At my current speed of making money, building the first floor alone will take about two years."
The diameter of Aincrad's lowest level was about ten kilometers, covering roughly 100 square kilometers. Completing such a huge city in two years was already astonishingly fast.
"Two years…" Ōtsutsuki Kaguya shook her head.
Far too long.
She liked Aincrad, yes—but waiting that long was impossible.
"Want a loan? Borrow nine, return thirteen." Mu Yang walked to Kayaba's side.
Hearing this, Kayaba was silent for a few seconds. "…No need."
Another brief pause. "Not for now, at least."
Mu Yang didn't press further. He looked toward Kaguya and Yakumo Yukari. "Let's go. Next world."
He took the two into the One Piece world.
Nut Island.
Located west of Cake Island, themed around nuts. The island was full of nuts; most buildings were made from nuts mixed with other materials. Its residents excelled at crafting nut-based desserts.
Walking through the nut-themed town, Mu Yang pointed at the edible houses. "Those can all be eaten. Want to try some?"
"No. Too dirty." Yukari said with a face full of disgust.
Kaguya also shook her head.
Mu Yang then pointed to a shop. "Then want to eat something inside instead?"
A moment later, the three of them each held a bag of nuts, snacking while they toured.
After finishing Nut Island, Mu Yang took them to other Totland islands: Cacao Island, Jam Island, Candy Island…
They ate while sightseeing along the way—truly fitting for Big Mom's dessert-loving territory. Every island's sweets were delicious.
After the food tour ended, Mu Yang brought the two to other islands in the Grand Line.
Snow Island, Desert Island, Primitive Island… along the way, they saw all sorts of strange creatures.
"What do you think?" Mu Yang asked Kaguya.
Kaguya shook her head, indicating she wasn't interested in settling in this world.
"Alright, onto the next."
Without needless chatter, Mu Yang took them to the next world.
Gintama world.
As before, Mu Yang brought them to several famous locations and gave them a brief introduction.
"This world has many aliens. Their individual combat power isn't very high. In this world, you're basically invincible."
Mu Yang glanced at Kaguya. "Besides aliens, there are also yokai, demons, that sort of thing…"
The moment yokai were mentioned, Yukari's attention was instantly captured.
"But overall, their strength is pretty weak. Very few can reach the level of a natural disaster."
Mu Yang didn't elaborate, brushing over the subject before moving on.
"None of those can threaten you. But this world does have some ridiculous tools—like a clock that can pause time. That one might even be able to stop your time…"
Before he finished, Kaguya cut him off. "Next world."
"Sure." Mu Yang had no objections.
Next, Mu Yang brought them through the Tiga world, the Under One Person world, the A Certain Magical Index world… and each time, Kaguya's response was the same:
"Next world."
Mu Yang wasn't surprised.
It was like house-hunting. You had seven houses within budget—you'd check all seven and compare before choosing the best.
Kaguya was likely thinking the same. After all, this would be her future residence, so she had to choose carefully.
After they finished visiting yet another world, the three moved on to the next one.
Late at night, a waning moon hung in the sky.
The lush forest was pitch-black—completely dark to an ordinary person.
But Mu Yang, Yukari, and Kaguya were not ordinary people.
"Feeling refreshed!"
As a yokai active by night, Yukari was full of energy.
Kaguya, expression cold, gazed ahead. It was unclear what she was looking at—perhaps nothing at all.
Mu Yang, on the other hand, looked confused.
All the worlds on this trip were previously connected via dimensional gates—in other words, worlds where chat group members lived.
"Is there someone from the Demon Slayer world in the group?"
Mu Yang scanned the member list—there was no one from the Demon Slayer universe.
If there wasn't…
Then how did I end up in the Demon Slayer world?
Could it be that someone used to be here…
Mu Yang thought for a moment and realized a possibility.
But… how did that person die?
