61 The Kidnapped Girls
The sound of dripping water slowly brought Lucia back to consciousness. She opened her eyes, and a moment later, the cold ravaged her body. Her clothes were torn, allowing the cold to penetrate directly into her skin.
She looked around, trying to figure out where she was. She had been kidnapped and had no idea where she was. The ceiling above her was made of dark concrete, and sticky mold gave off an unpleasant smell.
Lucia tried to move, but her body ached, making it difficult to move normally. A ring had been placed around her wrist, connected to a chain that extended to the wall.
The metal around her wrist vibrated slowly, almost as if it were alive.
Someone moaned in the darkness.
Lucia turned her face in fright and saw silhouettes in the darkness. Other people were there.
