Chapter 210 - The First Unknown

The auditorium remained still.

Heavy.

Not from fear.

But from presence.

Seraphina Caldris stood before the crystal, her gaze steady.

"…Dova Nexus."

From his seat—

Dova Nexus exhaled once and stood.

No hesitation.

He walked toward the platform, steps calm, controlled.

Stopping before the crystal—

He raised his left hand.

And pressed his palm against it.

For a brief moment—

Nothing.

Then—

Glow.

A pure—

White.

The crystal pulsed once.

Then words etched themselves into its surface:

Mutant Adaptive Potential

Soul Power — Entropy's Will

A low murmur spread across the room.

From his seat—

Darius Sletti smiled faintly.

"…He's come a long way."

"…He deserves that."

Beside him—

Kaelus Magna nodded.

"…Yeah… I remember when bro was struggling against two world-class orcs."

He chuckled.

"…Now look at him."

Then grinned wider.

"…I'm feeling like a proud father."

Dova didn't even turn.

"…In your dreams, Kael."

Kaelus burst out laughing.

Seraphina allowed the moment—

Then continued.

"…Isly Varen."

Isly Varen stood, brushing a strand of hair back.

"…Yes, headmistress."

She walked forward.

Confident.

Placed her palm on the crystal.

The reaction was immediate.

Grey.

Black.

Swirling together.

Seraphina's eyes narrowed slightly.

"…Is your father… Urani Varen?"

Isly glanced at her.

"…Yes."

A small smile appeared on Seraphina's face.

"…I see."

The crystal formed its words:

13th Star Oldest Potential

Soul Power — Chaos Nirvana

Isly blinked.

"…13th Star Oldest?"

"…What does that even mean?"

Seraphina folded her arms.

"…A title."

"…Given to the strongest mages in the Upper Realms."

A pause.

"…You'll understand when you ascend."

Isly smirked.

"…Sounds like fun."

She stepped back.

"…Tina Bricks."

Tina Bricks walked forward quietly.

Placed her palm on the crystal.

A soft green glow spread outward.

Calm.

Stable.

The words appeared:

Bridge of the Underworld Potential

Soul Power — Soul Structure

No reaction.

No surprise.

She simply nodded—

And returned to her seat.

Seraphina continued.

"…Kaelus Magna."

Kaelus Magna stood immediately.

"…Finally my time."

He walked forward, stretching his neck once.

Placed his palm on the crystal.

Grey.

White.

The air shifted slightly.

Words formed:

Warrior of the Great Worlds Potential

Soul Power — Everywhere Yet Nowhere

Silence.

Seraphina stared at it longer than usual.

A full minute passed.

Then she sighed.

"…Kaelus."

He looked at her.

"…Yeah?"

Her voice lowered slightly.

"…You have a rough journey ahead."

Kaelus blinked.

"…Huh?"

"…What do you mean?"

Seraphina shook her head.

"…I can't say much."

"…The laws of Nohr restricts it."

A pause.

"…But you will experience war."

"…Real war."

Kaelus scratched his head.

"…That sounds… not great."

He sighed.

"…Whatever. I'll deal with it."

And walked back to his seat beside Eryndor.

Seraphina didn't linger.

"…Darius Sletti."

Darius Sletti stood.

Walked forward.

Stopped.

Looked at the crystal.

Then placed his palm on it.

Nothing happened.

A second passed.

Then—

Darkness.

From every corner of the auditorium—

It surged inward.

Pulled toward the crystal.

Then—

Exploded outward.

The entire room was swallowed.

Pitch black.

No light.

No sound.

Then—

Snap.

Seraphina's fingers moved.

A single particle in the air ignited—

BOOM.

Pressure surged outward—

Dispelling the darkness instantly.

The room returned.

No one harmed.

The crystal flickered—

Then stabilized.

Words appeared:

Master of Shadows Potential (All shadows belong to you)

Soul Power — Visitor of Darkness

Darius stared at it.

Then smirked slightly.

"…Makes sense."

He walked back.

Seraphina nodded.

"…Stellar McLaren."

Stellar McLaren stood.

Walked forward in silence.

Placed her palm on the crystal.

Sky blue.

Frost spread across its surface.

The air cooled instantly.

Words appeared:

Ancestor Potential

Soul Power — Absolute Frost

Seraphina's eyes flickered.

"…As expected."

Stellar said nothing.

She simply turned—

And walked back.

Seraphina watched them all for a moment.

All of them… exceptional.

A faint smile.

The Upper Realms won't know peace with these personalities…

"…Rein Clark."

Rein Clark stood with a stretch.

As he walked past Stellar—

She muttered—

"…Bet it shows muscles."

Rein scoffed.

"…Shut up, frost."

He reached the crystal.

Placed his palm on it.

Immediately—

Gold.

Blinding.

The entire auditorium was illuminated.

The glow held—

Then dimmed.

Words appeared:

Absolute Commandment Potential

Soul Power — Orders Authority

Seraphina nodded slowly.

"…Orders Authority."

She looked at him.

"…That fits you perfectly."

Rein shrugged.

"…I just wanna go to the Upper Realms already."

"…This place is boring now."

Seraphina's gaze sharpened slightly.

"…I hope you still say that when I see you again."

Rein smirked.

"…I will."

He stepped back.

Silence fell.

Only one remained.

Seraphina's eyes shifted.

"…Eryndor Nasarik."

Eryndor Nasarik stood.

Hands in pockets.

Calm.

He walked forward.

Each step—

Measured.

He stopped before the crystal.

Looked at it briefly.

Then—

Placed his palm on it.

And everything—

Changed.

Outside—

The sky darkened.

Lightning roared across the heavens.

Wind surged violently—

Like a hurricane descending.

Inside—

Darkness crept in.

From every angle.

From everywhere.

It gathered—

At Eryndor's feet.

Seraphina's eyes widened slightly.

Something's wrong.

She didn't see it.

But she felt it.

And then—

Silence.

Absolute.

The entire academy—

Sound disappeared.

No wind.

No breath.

No movement.

Nothing.

For a few seconds—

Existence paused.

Then—

Sound returned.

The storm vanished.

The darkness disappeared.

Everything—

Normal.

Except—

The crystal.

It glowed.

Black.

White.

Eryndor tilted his head slightly.

"…Hm."

"…That's the color of my God Core."

Seraphina snapped her gaze to him.

"…You formed your God Core already?"

He shrugged lightly.

"…Yeah."

"…Back in Atlas."

"…When I fought Eon."

A brief pause.

Then—

Seraphina smiled.

"…What else would I expect…"

"…From a Nasarik."

The crystal trembled.

Struggled.

Then—

Words appeared.

But they weren't stable.

They glitched.

Distorted.

Unreadable—

Until finally—

They settled.

The First Unknown —

Soul Power — z$^%<>€<>|\€ — ???

Silence.

No one spoke.

No one moved.

Even Seraphina—

Didn't say a word.

Because for the first time—

The God's Crystal—

Didn't understand what it was looking at.

And that—

Was not normal but it was ok too.
