"It's weird when we were in the gala, I knew you had awakened your aura, but it wasn't as big as this," Finn said as he could see a fairly large flame inside Tristan's heart.
"You know you caused me and the prez a lot of stress after you went berserk," Finn said as he stood upright and drew out his sword as he walked towards Tristan.
"Uh…I don't know what you're talking about?!" Tristan said, his voice cracking under pressure.
He's emitting so much aura it's sinking into my skin.
I'll die if I don't fight.
I'm so confused. Tristan panicked as Finn's eyes turned colder

A wave of ease had flowed into Tristan. He no longer panicked as he did before; he was much calmer now due to the L.I.F.E system blocking all mental attacks from Finn's aura.
"As I said before, I don't know what you're talking about? During the fight with that Griffin I fell unconscious, and that's all I could remember!" Tristan said, narrating his own side of what had transpired in Night City.
"Thank goodness I calmed down. If that voice hadn't done what it had done, I could have attacked him out of panic, and then things could have gotten out of control." Tristan thought to himself as he nervously sweated
Tristan's thoughts raced as he tried to compose himself.
"Still pretending, are you?" Finn said to himself as he tried to lure Tristan into attacking him. "I told them this plan won't work!" Finn thought to himself as he anxiously waited for Tristan to move.
"I don't know what this is, but this obviously looks like a setup?" Raven said chimmed in as his bluish human-like figure appeared in front of Tristan; luckily, only Tristan could see and hear Raven.
"What do you mean by that Raven?" Tristan, in a confused manner, not sure what Raven meant by what he said.
"You might not notice, but there are currently six people surrounding you, including you including finn, but they're not attacking yet. It's clear they must have used a spell to turn themselves invisible! And there's also that lady who captured you with that black ice who is still behind you, yet she hasn't even flinched after you ran past her…it's almost like she, or they, expected this outcome." Raven said as he analysed the situation perfectly, giving Tristan clear and accurate information on what was going on around him.
"So you're saying this is a test?" Tristan asked as he stared at not only Finn but the Lady who trapped him in Black ice that stood beyond the torture room doors.
"Just do what I say, and everything will be alright, got it!"
"Got It !" Tristan replied as he clenched his fist. Finn quickly noticed the change in his demeanor and tightened his grip on his sword like he was clenching to something that would decide whether he lived or died.
"You're a Threat!" Finn said as he flashstepped towards Tristan; his sword was already in swinging motion.
"Don't flinch the moment he approaches you just don't react," Raven ordered before Finn had gotten close enough. Raven had said such words like it was an easy feat; no sane person would ever stand in one place while a sword was aimed for their head.
The blade inched closer and closer, but Tristan closed his eyes and gritted his teeth and then braced himself for what was about to come next.
In an instant, the blade stopped inches away from his neck. As Tristan opened his eyes, he grinned, and Finn returned the gesture with a grin of his own.
*exhale* "I'm so glad you didn't fight back!" Finn gasped for air as he fell to the ground in relief while at the same time dropping his blade. No words could express the relief he felt.
*sigh*"I'm just glad I made it out of this situation alive!" Tristan also joined Finn on the ground as he sighed in relief.
"Babe, I'm so Glad your you!" A pink-haired woman suddenly appeared from nowhere, wrapping her entire arms around Tristan, she was infact one of the invisible people who watched the scene unfold. She was also the same person who helped subdue Tristan when he had entered his vampire state when he was in Night City. Her name was Yuri.
"Sorry, um, excuse me!" Tristan quickly pushed her away as he remained indifferent to what she was doing. Tristan had always seen a girl and a boy as equals, so he never felt flustered or ashamed around girls; simply put, he doesn't know what love is.
"Oh, sorry for the late introduction. Meet my team!" Finn said as the rest of the 5 stepped and deactivated their invisible spell. A group of people got closer towards Tristan as Finn introduced them. "Meet Mark and Rose," Finn said as Mark waved his hands at Tristan while Rose simply smiled at him. "And to your left, meet Evan." An average height teenager stood besides Tristan he his hair carried a colourfully bright shade of blue, his eyes were also the same shade of blue as his hair, he looked like the quiet type that kept to himself, he had a cold aura surrounding him it was clear he was trying to intimidate Tristan, Tristan on the other hand clearerly did'nt look that intimidated maybe it's because his system protected him against mental effects from any aura.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you—" Tristan was immediately cut off as Evan pulled out a blade from nowhere and pressed it against his neck.
"I'll be watching you, so don't even think of coming close. The reason why you're alive is because Finn said so." Evan left his threat hanging in the air as the room fell into a cold, dense vibe.
Where did he even pull that blade from? Tristan wondered as the blade's sharp edge left a small cut that quickly recovered as steam escaped from the wound.
"Sorry about him, he's kind of an edgy guy. Moving on, meet Elara, the dark ice queen!" Finn said as Elara stepped out of the room in a gentle, graceful manner.
