Overnight, the name "Transformers" became globally popular. These transforming mechanical lifeforms immediately captivated countless people, successfully entering the public consciousness of this world.
They say cars and mechs are a man's romance—but Transformers perfectly combined the two, making their appeal absolutely devastating.
Not only male audiences, but many female players and younger generations were also deeply impressed by the fresh concept of Transformers, which could switch between vehicles and robots. They were equally awed by the transformation sequences.
The Transformers promotional video officially launched on Stormwind Studios' official website and social media after the Carnival concluded. This promotional video was the complete version—rather than a trailer, it was more like a short film.
The video, nearly thirty minutes long, provided detailed introduction to the setting of Cybertron, the backstory, the conflict between Autobots and Decepticons, the Allspark War, and how Bumblebee arrived on Earth.
Before Alex launched the Transformers project, he'd combined several related films from his previous life—including the spin-off movie Bumblebee—to adjust and reconstruct the story's background.
In particular, there were significant changes regarding the Allspark War and certain timelines.
In the new setting, during Cybertron's Allspark War, Optimus Prime covered Bumblebee and several Autobots as they escaped with the Allspark. Megatron pursued them, intercepting Bumblebee and his companions outside Earth's atmosphere, leading to a firefight.
Megatron killed the other Autobots and was severely wounded himself. He then pursued Bumblebee, who had already entered Earth's atmosphere, successfully shooting down Bumblebee's spacecraft. The spacecraft disintegrated during descent, and the Allspark and Bumblebee crashed in different locations on Earth.
Megatron, due to severe injuries and interference from magnetic fields and Earth's gravity, eventually crashed into the Arctic and was frozen.
Bumblebee, who crashed on Earth, had his memory module damaged. After impact, he fell into deep stasis, only reawakening many years later. He was then attacked by human military forces, and his vocalizer was damaged as a result.
Finally, Bumblebee escaped and transformed into a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, hiding in a junkyard filled with scrap cars.
Thus, the amnesiac Bumblebee remained hidden in the junkyard in vehicle form until he was purchased by Letty's grandmother.
Letty's grandmother accidentally discovered Bumblebee's secret, realizing he was from outer space and was a living being. Unfortunately, Bumblebee had lost his memory and couldn't speak, but he stayed with Letty's grandmother until she grew old.
Later, before her death, the grandmother gave Bumblebee to Letty, who loved cars, telling her it was a magical, living car that would protect her in her place.
However, Letty didn't truly understand her grandmother's words, and she didn't actually like the old yellow Beetle. Moreover, the car was ancient, so it remained parked in her grandmother's old farmhouse warehouse, serving merely as a memento.
But Letty didn't know that when she was undercover with the South American drug lord Braga's gang and was discovered, she wasn't killed because Bumblebee appeared in time and rescued her.
However, she later suffered from amnesia—just like Bumblebee—as if by some twist of fate.
In the complete video, Optimus Prime awakened Bumblebee's memories and had Ratchet repair his vocalizer. Optimus Prime recounted the Allspark War on Cybertron to Letty and Dominic, explaining that the Decepticons had arrived on Earth long ago, searching for the Allspark, intending to use it to convert all machines on Earth into Decepticons and then conquer the planet.
Bumblebee also told Optimus Prime and Letty about his experiences on Earth over the years.
Optimus Prime knew that humans were already aware of their existence and likely had even found the Allspark.
They hoped to establish cooperation with humanity.
But as they talked, a mysterious human armed force arrived to apprehend Optimus Prime and his comrades. A firefight ensued, and Optimus Prime ordered all Autobots not to harm humans, so they had no choice but to retreat.
However, in the end, Bumblebee was captured while protecting Letty and Dominic and covering his companions' escape. Dominic and Letty were taken to the mysterious military installation—Sector Seven—located beneath the Hoover Dam.
There, they were interrogated. Letty and Dominic informed Sector Seven personnel of the Decepticons' plot, telling them they should choose to cooperate with the Autobots, otherwise Earth would be in grave danger.
The video concluded with scenes of a US Air Force base being attacked by Decepticons.
After the full video released, it quickly spread globally. Having experienced the more complete story, players were even more ecstatic—deeply captivated by the Transformers narrative and profoundly impressed by Stormwind Studios' imaginative scope.
In particular, the story's perspective starting with Dominic and Letty—beloved protagonists of Fast & Furious—gave players a greater sense of immersion and emotional connection. They eagerly anticipated subsequent events.
But clearly, the rest of the story could only be experienced in the dungeon, and maddeningly, they still had to wait nearly another week.
Before the sun rose in San Francisco, numerous videos about Fast & Furious Easter eggs appeared on gaming communities and video platforms.
The appearance of the Transformers promotional video instantly stirred memories for many players. They vaguely recalled seeing a yellow Beetle while playing Fast & Furious, but because the car's appearance and style were so outdated, they hadn't paid much attention.
Now they suddenly realized—and returned to the game to search for the yellow Beetle, only to discover that Alex had left clues and Easter eggs throughout the content all along.
Players found a yellow Beetle's silhouette in many scenes where Letty appeared.
Even in old photo albums at Letty's house, her childhood self could be seen sitting in the Beetle's driver's seat. There was even dialogue between her and Dominic where she mentioned her grandmother had a Beetle that she drove her entire life.
Furthermore, in subsequent Fast & Furious updates, a yellow Camaro's silhouette appeared in several scenes—though indistinct, it could still be vaguely seen.
Especially when Letty was in life-threatening situations, that yellow Camaro could definitely be spotted weaving through traffic in the background.
These signs indicated that Alex had already conceived Transformers when he first designed Fast & Furious, intending for the two completely different franchises to interact and connect—smoothly transitioning the story from Fast & Furious to Transformers.
This might also mean that the Fast & Furious series would conclude, or continue as a different story entirely.
"Holy shit, I went back and checked—the yellow Beetle is LITERALLY in the background of like twelve different Letty scenes!"
"The foreshadowing is INSANE. Morrison planned this from the BEGINNING!"
"Found one! When Letty crashes during the highway chase in Chapter 3, there's a yellow blur that saves her from the truck. I always thought it was a rendering glitch!"
"This is next-level worldbuilding. Two completely different franchises secretly connected the whole time!"
"I can't believe we missed all these hints. The man is playing 4D chess while we're playing checkers!"
"So Bumblebee has been protecting Letty for YEARS without her knowing? That's actually really touching..."
"The grandmother subplot hits different now. She knew Bumblebee was alive and kept his secret her whole life!"
While players worldwide were searching for Easter eggs in Fast & Furious, the Infinite Realms Carnival finally welcomed its first public day.
Early in the morning, the area outside the venue was already packed with people. Tickets were impossible to find—scalpers were charging five times face value.
The exhibition officially opened, and massive crowds poured into the hall, then seemingly converged—as if by prior agreement—towards the Stormwind Studios exhibition booth.
The black tarps had finally been removed.
Standing in the center of the exhibition hall, towering over the crowd: life-sized models of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in their robot forms.
The collective gasp from the crowd was audible throughout the venue.
Cameras flashed endlessly. Social media exploded with photos and videos.
The Transformers had officially arrived.
Plz THROW POWER STONES.
