Chapter 309 - Chapter 309 An extremely busy afternoon

"Go back, relax." Kayson hugged Cedric, brought them both back to Hogwarts, then quickly took Harley, who was covered in blood, back to the front of the Head Table.

Madam Pomfrey had also come out to watch the excitement today.

As they appeared, the entire Head Table instantly devolved into chaos; no one knew why such a mess would occur in the fourth task, which was supposed to be without much danger.

Dumbledore walked over quickly, and Kayson looked up just as his eyes met Dumbledore's.

"He's back."

"Who's back?" Because Barty Crouch was missing, and given the importance of the Triwizard Tournament final, Cornelius also came to Hogwarts to attend the final and temporarily replace Barty Crouch as a judge.

At this moment, he also nervously scurried over.

Kayson glanced at him: "Lord Voldemort."

It was like a ten-ton lead ball had directly smashed into his chest.

"Let him think for a while. Are they both safe?" Dumbledore asked.

"Harley was protected by Cedric and wasn't captured by the Death Eater hiding in the shadows, but Cedric was indeed transported by the Portkey to a graveyard. After I went there, I briefly helped him before Harley summoned me back."

"But my return didn't change anything… that Death Eater still succeeded." Kayson helped Madam Pomfrey and Snape lift Harley onto a stretcher, then stood up and immediately saw Mr. and Mrs. Diggory running over, panting.

"Kayson! Professor Kayson! Thank you so much, truly, thank you so much! My son is alive, he survived that group of Dark Wizards, and it's all thanks to you!"

Kayson quickly patted Mr. Diggory, whose face was pale with fear: "Cedric! Come and comfort Mr. Diggory. As for the explanation, you can tell him slowly later; Cornelius is still frozen anyway."

Cedric quickly walked over and comforted Mr. Diggory along with Mrs. Diggory.

The family of three had barely walked two steps when Mrs. Diggory sat down with a thud, clearly, Cedric's experience was too shocking for a mother who deeply loved her child.

Seeing this, Kayson quickly walked over. He helped Mr. Diggory, and had Cedric help Mrs. Diggory, leading them to two seats so they could sit down and rest.

"By the way, Mr. Diggory, do you need an award ceremony?" Dumbledore walked over and asked calmly, even though there were at least a dozen urgent matters waiting for him to decide and handle.

"You are already very busy, Professor, let's just leave it at that."

"You are much more of a gentleman than I imagined, but it's not worth giving up your honor for an old man's workload. Tonight, Great Hall, alright?" Dumbledore said.

"Okay." Cedric nodded.

Grindelwald flew down, enveloped by a huge black silk, which Hagrid recognized as a very dangerous magical creature, a Voldemort Bat.

"I observed the battle site; it was very brief, a few Accio spells, one Severing Charm, but very clever, at least in terms of combat, overly clever," Grindelwald said.

"I understand." Dumbledore nodded, then calmly pulled Cornelius, who was slumped on the ground, to his feet: "Let's go, Cornelius… Cornelius!"

"Oh, oh… oh, please help me up." Cornelius reached out and grasped Dumbledore's wrist, pulling himself up.

"By the way, Kayson, please go with Gellert to the graveyard you mentioned. Perhaps he can see something important."

Kayson nodded and exchanged glances with Grindelwald. Kayson directly enveloped Grindelwald with a force field, and the next moment, the two appeared in the graveyard.

"Oh, Body-Restoration magic," Grindelwald said casually.

"What?" Kayson asked, puzzled.

Grindelwald cleared his throat: "In the Wizarding World, the destruction of the body is never something worth mentioning as destruction; there are simply too many ways to heal it or even reshape the body."

"Among them is a body-restoration spell that works with Horcrux magic. Besides basic raw materials, it requires three things: the blood of an enemy—I noticed that Harry Potter had wounds from a Severing Charm all over him."

"The bone of the father—look at that corpse over there, now exposed in the wilderness, missing such a large piece of bone."

"And the flesh of the servant—some Wizards choose to use the flesh of a House-elf, but for him, all those Death Eaters are his servants, his consumables."

"So, the current Lord Voldemort, Tom Riddle, has most likely successfully resurrected, if not, it's just a matter of re-brewing a magical potion," Grindelwald patiently explained.

"That old thing comes back to life so easily," Kayson muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Indeed, isn't it? Cutting his soul until he's neither human nor ghost? Heh heh…" Grindelwald scoffed.

"Let's go back. We have enough information," Grindelwald said.

"Mm." Kayson agreed, and instantly, the two arrived in the Headmaster's office.

Cornelius still sat on the sofa like a robot, hugging himself uneasily.

And Dumbledore and Snape were both staring at Cornelius with exasperated expressions.

Seeing this, Kayson was about to go over and give Cornelius a slap to wake him up, but Dumbledore stopped him.

"Now there's one last thing. Go to Barty Crouch's house… If you're fast enough, we might still be able to save an innocent life," Dumbledore said.

"Where's his house?" Kayson asked.

"This address." Dumbledore gave Kayson an address. Kayson briefly referenced it, then apparated to the nearest possible location, followed by several flashes until he found a tall mansion hidden behind a Muggle-Repelling Charm.

As the front door was violently pushed open, Kayson quickly searched several places with strong signs of life: bedrooms, studies, kitchens, and even the staircase and Harry's limited single cupboard.

Not only was there nothing in the physical sense, but also in the magical sense. Kayson, equipped with a monocle, could say that his eyes were his ruler.

But even so… wait? What is this?

Kayson looked curiously at a painting, taller than a person, in the corner of the hall.

He walked over and casually touched it. It had a tactile feel, but this sensation… Boom!

The entire painting, along with the wall, was struck by Kayson's punch.
