No matter what the clan members thought, they ultimately couldn't change the facts.
The assessment proceeded as scheduled, and all the content was what Yuuki had Yakushi Nonou teach them.
It included both a written exam and practical application.
Those clan members who hadn't taken it seriously, even after three days of struggling, didn't all pass.
Naturally, the three lowest-ranked individuals, on the morning of the fourth day,
On the roof of the Military Police Force building, under the gaze of hundreds of clan members, took off the uniform that was now considered an honor throughout Konoha, and left the Military Police Force.
This scene stimulated all the Uchiha clan members still standing there; if they didn't want to become one of them, they had to work hard!
Yuuki didn't let the Military Police Force members from other Ninja Clans or the civilians see this scene, still showing some consideration for the clan members' pride.
After this morning, all the clan members finally felt a sense of urgency and no longer went to show off on the streets every day after finishing their tasks.
And it wasn't just the Uchiha clan members who were tormented by various studies.
Inside the Konoha Orphanage.
Deidara threw down the book in his hand.
"Glasses! I came here to master the power of the sun, not to learn these useless things!"
Kabuto, who was enjoying the sea of knowledge nearby, was a bit displeased when Deidara interrupted him, but a smile remained on his face.
Kabuto got up and picked up the book Deidara had thrown on the ground; he flipped through it briefly and saw it was a basic chemistry textbook.
"How do you know these things are useless?"
Ever since Yuuki told him to read books that day, Kabuto had discovered a new world; it turned out there was so much interesting knowledge in this world besides Ninjutsu.
Kabuto felt a bit of anger in his heart at Deidara's dismissive attitude.
Deidara, however, said with great disdain,
"Those things are so troublesome; opening molecular bonds requires so many steps. They are simply useless knowledge!"
There was a reason for Deidara's disdain for chemistry.
After all, Ōnoki often boasted about his Dust Release in front of Deidara, saying it could decompose targets into atoms in an instant.
Deidara had a concept of molecules and atoms since he was a child, knowing they were very, very small things.
Deidara, who didn't even think much of Ōnoki's Dust Release, naturally disdained the complex and tedious content of chemistry.
"Glasses, I'm someone who doesn't even think much of Dust Release. Just tell me how to master the power of the sun directly!"
Kabuto adjusted the glasses on his nose.
"I'm sorry, I don't know that kind of knowledge either. I'm just following Lord Yuuki's instructions to teach you the basics of mastering that power."
"So, please study hard and stop acting like a child!"
The phrase "acting like a child" immediately angered Deidara.
"Glasses, if it weren't for Brother Yuuki, do you think I'd stay in this broken place?"
For Kabuto, who had considered the orphanage his home since he could remember, Deidara's words also made Kabuto feel offended.
But Kabuto's nature allowed him to control his impulse; the smile on his face disappeared, his eyes became somewhat gloomy, and he slowly said,
"You were personally entrusted to me by Lord Yuuki to teach you. I won't hold it against you. Now, pick up the book and read it yourself. I can forgive the offense in your words just now!"
How could the little tyrant of Iwagakure, whom even the Tsuchikage couldn't control, obediently listen? Deidara was essentially a stubborn mule.
Just a few compliments could make him incredibly happy, which is also why Deidara found Kurotsuchi annoying but didn't dislike her.
It was Kurotsuchi's admiration for Deidara that made Deidara very satisfied.
Kabuto's extreme effort to restrain himself from acting seemed like looking down on him in Deidara's eyes.
"Hmph, I'm someone even Brother Yuuki approves of, and he thinks I'm a genius who can surpass him in the future. You, an unknown nobody, want me to listen to you? Dream on!"
As soon as Deidara's words fell, Kabuto already showed killing intent towards Deidara.
'Unknown nobody' was a perpetual thorn in Kabuto's heart; although he had reconciled with Yakushi Nonou now, it could still stir up those unpleasant memories in Kabuto's heart.
And Deidara burst into laughter at the same time Kabuto showed killing intent.
"Hahaha! You're angry, aren't you? I've been annoyed with you for a long time too. For Brother Yuuki's sake, I'll spare your life!"
He said it, but his hands didn't stop; a pile of clay had already been chewed by the mouth-like mechanism in Deidara's palm.
Kabuto, on the other hand, directly attacked Deidara with a Chakra Scalpel.
Despite Deidara having completed the development of C2 Dragon, he was still just a child under 10 years old.
In front of Kabuto, who was already 13 and in a period of rapid strength growth, Deidara was completely outmatched.
The disparity in physical fitness and lack of combat experience made it almost impossible for Deidara to even form hand signs.
Kabuto severed the meridians in his limbs, leaving him with numerous dense wounds.
Deidara, bleeding all over and unable to move, still spoke defiantly.
"You scoundrel, you only know how to ambush! Do you dare to let me prepare?"
Kabuto adjusted his glasses and said,
"We are Ninja; there's no such thing as ambushing or not ambushing. But you seem very unconvinced?"
"That's right, you might be able to defeat me, or even kill me, but I'm just not convinced. You simply don't understand my art!"
Kabuto looked at Deidara's defiant expression, and without hesitation, he started beating Deidara, who was utterly defenseless.
Kabuto was simply letting off steam; while Deidara was annoyed with Kabuto, Kabuto was also annoyed with Deidara.
You look down on the orphanage, do you! You think I'm an unknown nobody, do you! And what Kabuto found most baffling was why such a foolish guy like Deidara could gain Lord Yuuki's favor!
Kabuto held nothing back, punching Deidara repeatedly.
Deidara, of course, maintained a stubborn expression; constantly being beaten, he didn't even utter a sound, after all, he was a ruthless person who dared to cut his own chest.
After some time, Deidara was beaten by Kabuto to the point where even Kurotsuchi probably wouldn't recognize him.
Then Kabuto used Medical Ninjutsu to heal Deidara. After repairing the wounds on his face, Deidara could speak freely.
"Don't think I'll thank you just because you healed me!"
"I don't need your thanks!"
Kabuto's signature skill was naturally not to be underestimated; combined with his extensive knowledge of the human body, the injuries he inflicted were the kind that hurt a lot but caused little actual damage.
After initial treatment, Kabuto began to heal the meridians he had severed in Deidara.
Kabuto could heal these simply severed meridians; only complete shattering of all meridians, like Lee's, would require someone of Tsunade's level to heal.
Deidara felt his right leg move and was somewhat surprised, but said nothing.
Soon, Kabuto healed all of Deidara's injuries.
Then, he stood a short distance from Deidara and said,
"Begin!"
"What?"
"Show me your 'art'!"
