Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Youshu's underlying logic

The next month was peaceful, and everything developed normally.

The joint pursuit force of Konoha and Hidden Mist was still out there, with intelligence constantly being sent back.

Looking at the intelligence, the team actually found a few clues about Obito.

Yuuki finally confirmed that Kisame was Obito's man.

After all, if there wasn't an inside man, this team would almost certainly not have found any trace of Obito.

The convenience of Kamui is no joke!

Seeing Kakashi being out for so long without incident, Yuuki stopped paying attention; it seemed Obito ultimately couldn't bring himself to harm Kakashi.

Another point was that Yuuki noticed a significant increase in the number of White Zetsu captured recently, which left Yuuki a bit puzzled.

Yuuki, who was familiar with Obito's eccentric thought process, didn't want to guess what he was thinking anymore.

After all, crazy people have broad minds, and silly youths have more fun.

Tuzi Ge perfectly illustrated this saying.

If Obito likes to play hide-and-seek with Kakashi, let him play!

Yuuki was now considering his own development.

As for why Yuuki was so hesitant when dealing with Hiruzen Sarutobi, there were two main reasons.

Firstly, Yuuki considered his age; after all, in a few more months, Yuuki would only be 16 years old. Minato Namikaze becoming Hokage at 23 had already broken records.

If Yuuki were to get rid of Hiruzen Sarutobi now, it was highly probable that the Hokage position wouldn't go to him, even though Yuuki could suppress all dissent with his strength.

In that scenario, would Yuuki truly become Hokage, or would the Hokage position merely tie Yuuki down? Yuuki's main job would likely be dealing with various acts of defiance.

Hiruzen Sarutobi was not the obstacle; Yuuki had already planned how to deal with Hiruzen Sarutobi. The biggest obstacle came from Yuuki himself.

After two foreign wars, Yuuki had gained high prestige among Jonin and some Ninja, but this was not enough. What Yuuki wanted was not just the position of Hokage.

Yuuki wanted Konoha to be completely under his control, just as Yuuki could now proudly declare, 'I am the Military Police Force!'

Yuuki didn't want to become Hokage only to have to deal with internal issues. He wanted Konoha to become his Konoha; he wanted Uchiha Tomoki to be Konoha!

To achieve this goal, he had to develop his Military Police Force. The Military Police Force would become synonymous with Konoha, just like Samsung was synonymous with a certain country in Yuuki's previous life.

Making the Military Police Force deeply integrated into all aspects and corners of Konoha is Yuuki's main task now.

Secondly, now was not the best time to deal with Hiruzen Sarutobi. Just as Hiruzen Sarutobi's methods against White Fang were useless against Yuuki, a similar situation applied here.

Yuuki was unwilling to use the same methods he used against Danzo to deal with Hiruzen Sarutobi.

It wasn't that Yuuki couldn't tarnish Hiruzen Sarutobi's reputation; if Hiruzen Sarutobi's reputation was ruined, it wouldn't just be his own. The Hokage position would also be tainted, and Konoha would be tainted as well.

At that point, the consensus in the Ninja World would be, 'Konoha's Hokage? Not even a dog would want it!'

Ultimately, Hiruzen Sarutobi's prestige would have to be attacked, but the degree to which it could target only Hiruzen Sarutobi without implicating the Hokage and Konoha needed to be carefully managed.

If Yuuki started now, he wouldn't be able to perform such precise operations, so it still came back to the issue of Yuuki's own development.

When the Military Police Force becomes intimately tied to the lives, careers, and futures of every person in Konoha.

When Yuuki says the Ninja World belongs to the Uchiha, the Konoha Villagers will also applaud loudly and say Yuuki is right, convincing themselves that everything is perfectly fine!

This is Yuuki's logic of action, and it's also why Yuuki spent over two years in the Military Police Force, winning over most of its members, before confronting Fugaku.

To be honest, if Danzo and the Third Hokage hadn't been so eager to act against Yuuki, Yuuki probably would have dragged it out for a few more months or even half a year.

He would only have confronted Fugaku after completely bringing the Military Police Force to his side. That hurried action.

Yuuki had done his best, even killing clansmen at the clan meeting and within the Military Police Force for the sake of quickly seizing power, but there was still a small group of people who disliked him.

If, after becoming Hokage, Konoha could not be used by him, if Konoha's entire population did not follow his lead, then what would be the point of him becoming Hokage?

To be the public servant of everyone in Konoha?

Logically speaking, Yuuki could actually retire now; his goals were almost accomplished.

Aside from finding a place to avoid being killed by the Ten-Tails's Tailed Beast Ball in the final battle, and protecting his family, Shisui, and a few close clansmen.

He could just leave everything to Naruto and Sasuke to solve. What did the troubles of Konoha, or even the Ninja World, have to do with him?

After no longer needing to worry about basic survival, Yuuki's goal was to make his family and clansmen even more comfortable.

Apart from the capital of the Land of Fire, there was no place more comfortable than Konoha in the Ninja World. Moreover, his family and clansmen had lived in Konoha for almost their entire lives.

Therefore, Yuuki's goal had long since shifted from leading everyone to survive to leading everyone towards a beautiful new life.

The purpose of human life is never just to fight, even in the Ninja World. A long life is always spent in tranquility.

As for ideas like leaving Konoha to build his own Ninja Village or creating his own faction, Yuuki never even considered them.

Did he really think building a force from scratch was easy? Why would he reject a ready-made, top-tier good place and instead run to a remote corner to suffer?

Ninety-nine percent of the Ninja World is countryside compared to Konoha! With such a good place, plus the Uchiha's advantage in establishing Konoha.

With such a unique advantage, if he couldn't reclaim Konoha even with strength ensuring survival, how could building his own force succeed?

It's like having half of the original shares but failing to gain control of a listed company, yet somehow succeeding if you go out and start a business from scratch!

Even if this almost impossible task succeeded, the Uchiha Clan would not be as comfortable as they are now.

To use a simple game analogy, the Uchiha are the top spenders, the other Konoha clans are the big, medium, and small spenders, and the commoners are the free-to-play group.

Without these large and small clans and commoners, how could the top-spending Uchiha be happy? They can't just have cross-server battles every day!

Free-to-play players are the most important part of the pay-to-win player's gaming experience. Leaving Konoha would lead to an extremely poor gaming experience!

Therefore, Yuuki cannot abandon Konoha; he must take Konoha into his own hands.

To achieve this, he must start with the Military Police Force, making the Military Police Force to Konoha what a certain star is to a certain country.

This is the overarching logic of all Yuuki's actions, and it is also the guiding principle of Yuuki's plans and strategies.

With his purpose and actions clarified, Yuuki was full of anticipation for the future.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, Konoha will ultimately revolve in the palm of my hand!

My will of fire has ignited fiercely. I, Uchiha Tomoki, am the will of fire!
