Don't fall …
Smart stood just a few steps away from Jin and Dex.
His arms were crossed, and together with Han, they watched the scene unfolding right in front of them.
Han's eyes immediately fell on the two guys lightly running their hands over Dex's body.
Then his gaze shifted, locking right onto Dex—who, with a cigarette between his lips and that confident posture, gave off the vibe of a damn, fucking tattooed bad boy.
In that moment, Han felt his thoughts betray him—he simply couldn't push them away.
Dex suddenly looked unbelievably sexy… so different from every other time he had seen him before.
It stirred something inside him—something completely new.
For the first time, he found himself looking at a man that way.
Okay… he had thought about Smart a little that day in the car, when he was playing around with him.
But that had all been under the pressure of the game and the teasing—it was momentary, and it faded just as quickly.
Maybe the drinks he had earlier at the ' Beat Pub 'had blurred his thoughts… because right now, he couldn't separate things clearly anymore.
Dex had taken off his jacket, and the short-sleeved t-shirt hugging his muscular frame made him look just… wow—no words needed.
The tattoos along his arms and neck, for the first time, seemed so incredibly cool to Han.
His thoughts vanished instantly when his gaze fell back on the two guys clinging to Dex, like they were magnets.
"Uhh… not satisfied with one, you want two…"
"Damn horny bastard," he thought, clenching his teeth in frustration.
*Smart could feel his blood boiling as that girl stared at Jin like she wanted to devour him.
She seemed so aroused, unable to wait another second.
Smart's mind began to imagine all kinds of dangerous scenarios.
One in particular was driving him wild:
the girl, sitting over Jin's lap, locking eyes with him as she moved gently against him.
It was just a scene in his mind—one that Smart didn't allow to continue.
He immediately tore it apart, refusing to let it take over his thoughts.
"Ugh, damn!
I don't even know how I'm feeling right now!
Something's tightening in my chest," he whispered to Han.
"This is how it goes when you've got famous boyfriends… and on top of that, ones as attractive as Jin.
Even if he doesn't want to, they come closer on their own.
You should know this by now—and be ready for it," Han said, his voice a low growl near his ear.
"Hmm, I know…
And believe me, I've worked a lot on myself for this, but… you probably understand too how hard it is when you see it with your own eyes—just like I'm seeing now.
I need to stay calm and clear the path of these lice… like her, or even Nova
"Hahaha, you called them lice?
Smart… how did you even come up with that name for them?!
It's so funny," Han said, draping his arm around Smart's neck.
"Only you would think of something like that."
"Mmmm…
We used to use that word a lot back in Albania.
When I was little, playing with my friends, I'd call them lice—morras.
The ones that cling and never leave… just like the one we have in front of us now, licking herself all over my Jin."
"Tell me again… how do you say that word in Albanian? I want to hear it," Han said.
"Morra… Morra," Smart repeated a few times, but Han couldn't quite get it right, no matter how many times he tried.
"Smart, tell me again…
Maybe I didn't hear it over the loud music," Han justified himself, trying to get it right.
Smart lightly tapped him on the head.
"Are you out of your mind?
Now you're trying to drive me crazy?
Don't you see the situation I'm in?
Right in front of my eyes, I've got my boyfriend—and a lice right in front of him, flirting with him!"
"Ehhh… I see.
But I'm sure you're going to get rid of that lice right there!
Show yourself now—and fight," Han said, turning his gaze back toward Dex's profile.
"Fuck… I never thought I'd see Dex in my life, no matter how much I wanted to.
But what I never expected was my eyes seeing him like this…"
"I'm not okay… I think I need to see a doctor.
Someone who can give me a prescription called… 'How to erase Dex from my life,'" he thought, shivering instantly.
The girl stepped a little closer to Jin, speaking in a soft voice.
"Alone? Can I sit next to you?"
Just as Jin started to answer, a voice cut in, walking toward them.
"Who said he's alone?"
Jin turned his head—and when he saw Smart, he was nearly shocked!
Smart looked him straight in the eyes, narrowing them as if to tell Jin:
"What the hell were you waiting for so long to refuse her?!"
"Fuck!" Dex's voice rang out at that moment as he motioned to the guys to leave immediately, telling them they'd continue their moment another time!
Jin stood up instantly, moving straight toward Smart!
The girl smiled sarcastically, then walked away, looking somewhat offended.
Jin immediately threw his arms around Smart's neck, pulling him into a tight hug.
"You little liar!
Why didn't you let me know you were coming?"
Smart placed his hands on Jin's chest and pushed him away!
The hood of Jin's hoodie, which had been covering his face, slipped off—revealing his entire face.
Smart grabbed Jin by the hoodie strings and pulled him close.
In one swift move, he reached behind Jin's neck and looped the hood back over his head, instantly covering his face.
Jin looked Smart straight in the eyes and placed his hands on Smart's face, whispering,
"Babe!!"
Smart gently removed Jin's hands, took a step back, and his expression quickly turned serious.
"I wanted to surprise you… but the one who got surprised was me," he said, pointing at himself.
""What… why didn't you push her away? Did you feel tempted? Be honest," Smart asked, his gaze sharp.
Then his eyes flicked to Dex and the two guys who had just left.
"Ahh… we walked in at the worst possible moment!"
"What do you think, Han? Maybe we should step back—let the guys have their fun, their way," Smart said, eyes scanning the scene.
Han's gaze stayed locked on Dex, and he muttered under his breath,
"Insatiable… can't get enough from just one taste!!"
Dex heard those words and smiled lightly, with a hint of irony.
"Hmm… who's talking…"
The one who had almost drowned that girl behind the walls in kisses, right in the middle of everyone, as if he didn't care at all… Dex thought.
*
"Smart, don't be stubborn.
They just came to say hi to Dex—they're his fans, that's all.
It's nothing to make a big deal out of," Jin said, trying to calm him down.
Dex immediately confirmed that what Jin said was true.
"And that girl?
Don't tell me she was a fan of Dex too," Smart added sharply, pressing his index finger against Jin's lips as a warning.
Jin smiled.
"Jealous?"
"If you don't answer, I'm leaving," Smart said, about to walk away.
But Jin immediately pulled him back, making him sit right next to him.
"Do you really think that now that I have you right here, I'd let you leave?"
Jin asked, locking eyes with him.
"Behave… or I'll make you pay for it tonight."
"Then tell me— Why did you let that girl get close to you? Why didn't you push her away right away?" Smart asked, his voice low and controlled.
"You already did the rejecting for me," Jin replied calmly.
"Tell me the truth.
If I hadn't come… what would you have done?"
Jin took a deep breath.
"Smart… what are you trying to do?
Are you asking to be punished?"
"Why aren't you answering me?" Smart asked again, his voice calm.
The fact that Smart was asking so calmly drove Jin crazy.
He took a gulp of his drink, then suddenly grabbed Smart by the back of his neck, pulling him close and kissing him without hesitation.
Smart's heart almost stopped.
He simply let himself melt into the kiss, forgetting everything around him.
Han froze in shock, staring at the scene with his mouth slightly open.
Dex immediately grabbed him and pulled him down to sit beside him.
"Eyes on me," he said, gripping Han's chin and turning his face toward him.
It was the first time Han had looked at Dex that deeply, for so many seconds.
He kept his eyes on him, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Dex felt it too.
His eyes couldn't get enough of Han's.
He just wanted that vivid gaze to last a little longer.
Meanwhile, Jin kept melting against Smart's soft lips, completely lost in the moment.
He was savoring every second of it.
Everything else had faded from his mind.
A sudden bite on his lip snapped Smart back to reality, making him pull away instantly as a sharp sting spread across his lower lip.
He ran his tongue over his lips, tasting the traces of alcohol Jin had left on them.
Jin watched the gesture, wanting nothing more than to pull Smart down onto him, having him straddle and stealing his breath with kisses.
"What are you doing? We're in public," Smart said, moving slightly away.
"What public? I don't see anyone," Jin replied with a teasing grin.
Smart looked him in the eyes, then his gaze slid back down over Jin's lips, as if he could never get enough.
"Did you get the answer you wanted… or should I answer again?"
Jin placed his thumb on Smart's lower lip, caressing it gently.
"You better not lie to me. I swear, you don't know me well enough yet," Smart teased, his tone light but warning clear.
"You're mine… so next time, don't let that rejection drag out so long."
Jin smiled and hugged him again, taking a deep breath and savoring the scent.
""Hmmm… I was dying to feel your scent," he whispered.
Han snapped back to his senses and quickly looked away from Dex.
Feeling a little flustered, he grabbed the pack and hurriedly pulled out a cigarette.
Dex smiled at Han's reaction, then casually took the lighter and lit his cigarette for him. After that, he lit one for himself too, before turning toward Smart and Jin, who were still caught up in their own moment, enjoying their conversation.
"So? How did it go? Feeling calmer now?" Dex asked, clearly teasing Jin, without really thinking about how Smart might react.
At that moment, Smart felt his face burn bright red, his hands turning slightly sweaty.
Without wasting a second, he leaned his head against Jin's back, trying to hide, feeling shy.
He wouldn't have minded if his own friends had seen that scene, but when it came to Jin's friends, he felt different… uneasy, a little embarrassed.
Jin shot Dex a deadly look, but Dex just winked back at him like he'd said nothing wrong.
"Smart… babe, don't be shy because of that jerk Dex.
Come here, look at me… don't hide."
"I don't want to… I feel embarrassed, and all of this is your fault," Smart said, still not lifting his head from Jin's back.
"I swear, I'm gonna kill you," Jin shot straight at Dex.
Dex just smiled, shaking his head lightly.
"I didn't know he'd be shy."
Jin was actually loving that moment.
Seeing Smart like that—so delicate, so cute, so soft—he adored it.
He gave him a few seconds to feel a little better, then gently pulled him in and placed his head against his chest.
"Don't overthink it. As long as I'm here… and I allow this," he said, referring to the kiss,
"nothing else should matter to you."
Smart just nodded, a small smile forming on his lips.
Han finished his cigarette, stubbed it out in the ashtray, and got to his feet.
"Smart, I'm leaving now," he said.
At that moment, Dex grabbed him firmly and pulled him back down beside him.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Han looked him straight in the eyes.
"You really think I owe you an explanation?" he asked, then stood up again.
In that moment, Dex grabbed him again and pulled him back down.
He leaned in, his lips brushing close to Han's ear.
"Watch the way you talk," he murmured. "Don't make me turn your remaining days around me into something… difficult.
Hmm… and if you think I can't do it, then go ahead—try me. You'll see."
Han didn't say a word. He just swallowed hard, a flicker of tension showing on his face.
"Now behave, and don't make me lose my patience!
You'll stay here as long as I want—okay, spoiled kid?" Dex added again.
Han pulled back slightly, meeting Dex's eyes without saying a word.
His mind was screaming:
God… what did I do to deserve this misfortune?
I wish he'd break his neck… or his leg… or… or… I don't know, anything… just break something…
A quiet voice inside him whispered,
"Or maybe… do you want him to break your heart?"
In that moment, Han froze completely.
His face turned pale, and he started struggling to breathe.
Sweat broke out all over his body.
Smart was calling his name, but he wasn't hearing him.
Dex gently touched his shoulder, bringing him back to reality.
Han turned toward Smart, forcing a shy smile.
"Alright… I'll stay for a drink, and then I'll leave after."
"You okay?" Smart asked, noticing the change in the color of his face.
"I'm fine, don't worry," Han replied immediately.
Dex could feel Han's breathing—it was heavy and labored.
It was too slow, and Han was barely getting enough air.
He immediately placed a hand on Han's back and whispered gently,
"Breathe in… and let it out slowly."
Han followed his guidance until his breathing steadied.
Then he brought a cigarette to his lips.
Dex reached out and took it from him immediately.
"Not now… relax for a bit, and you can smoke later."
"Dex, please… I need that cigarette. I want it now," Han said quietly, pleading.
"Just a few more moments, and I'll be the one to light it for you with my own hands.
But for now, try to let yourself relax and catch your breath…"
Han had no choice but to agree.
After all, he wouldn't die if he waited a few extra minutes.
Smart rested his head against Jin's chest.
You don't let anyone else get close to you… like that girl, right?"
Jin smiled softly.
"So that's why you came?
To check up on me?"
Smart lifted his gaze, meeting Jin's eyes.
"I came because I missed you…
And one more thing—I'm not the type to check up on you like that. A healthy relationship is built on trust.
If one day you make a mistake… I'd rather not find out.
But if I do… then trust me, even I don't know how I'd react.
Jin was a little taken aback by what Smart had just said.
Just the way Smart thought about things… It made Jin feel happy.
The fact that Smart didn't even want to know if he ever made a mistake… it hit him—this wasn't just a crush. It was something much deeper."
Gently, he touched Smart's face and whispered,
"Don't worry…
You know I only have eyes for you."
Hmm… to be honest, I'm not worried at all.
I can't spend my days thinking you might slip up… or that maybe you won't love me anymore. And if that ever happens… hmm, what can I do?
Nothing.
If you ever mess up… it's not for me, it's for yourself.
Love isn't a duty. It's a feeling.
If it fades… that chapter's done.
Life goes on, and another chapter is waiting to be written.
Jin was mesmerized by Smart's words, but still, they rang in his ears in a way that stressed him out.
The idea that Smart was thinking like this… it worried him.
"Smart couldn't just think about leaving him so easily—about closing that chapter as if it had never existed. Jin simply wouldn't allow it.
The only thing Jin wanted was for Smart to live only for him.
He reached out and gently grabbed him by the jaw, looking deep into his eyes.
Listen to these words carefully, and don't you dare forget them.
I am… and I will be the final chapter of your life.
There won't be another."
Smart smiled and wrapped both his hands around Jin's waist.
"Hmmm… okay."
"Let's not talk about this anymore.
I don't want us ever to speak of separation in our relationship, okay?"
"Okay, babe," Smart whispered, listening to the rhythm of Jin's heartbeat.
"What were you and Han doing before you came?" Jin asked, just to hear the next lie.
"Hmmm… just watching a movie at home," Smart replied immediately.
Jin glanced at Han.
"What movie?" he asked, trying to gauge how prepared they were.
"The Lord of the Rings," they said in unison.
Smart and Han had even prepared this answer together, making sure they stayed on the same page if Jin asked about the movie.
Jin felt a twinge inside every time Smart lied, but there was nothing he could do.
He turned his eyes toward Dex, who gave him a reassuring gesture to calm down.
Now that Smart had calmed down, he noticed Jin's hand and immediately grew worried.
"What happened to your hand?" he asked, grabbing it right away.
"It's nothing, don't worry.
A glass fell—I picked it up and cut myself a little."
"Are you sure?
You didn't get into a fight or something?" Smart asked, glancing around the place.
"Smart, look at me.
I told you it's nothing… and when I say that, what are you supposed to do?
Just trust me… right?"
Smart looked into his eyes, then gently pressed a soft kiss to his hand.
Jin smiled, softly running his fingers through his hair.
"See? It's healed now," he whispered.
Han turned his head toward Dex, scanning him carefully for any sign of injury.
"Relax," Dex said, crossing one leg over the other. "Nothing happened to me. I'm fine…"
Han let out an ironic, almost fake smile.
"Worried? Me?
You must be drunk if that's what you think.
I'd never worry about you… huh.
You're giving yourself way too much importance."
Dex leaned in closer, deliberately teasing him.
"Careful…
Don't fall in love with me. You don't fit my standards. You're way too cute for me."
