Chapter 260: Battle!!!
An invisible force radiated from the top of Megalo Tower, Necrozma's aura suddenly plummeted, and the Ultra Wormhole behind it sealed off, completely blocking its retreat.
A large group of Naganadel sprayed venom at Necrozma, trying to immobilize it. But Necrozma gathered its hands together, and a beam of light emanated from within its body, scattering outwards through the crystals in its hands with Prismatic Laser.
The Naganadel dodged, and those that couldn't dodge in time were basically pierced through, falling from the sky.
"Xerneas, Geomancy! White Kyurem, Freeze Shock!" Ryan instantly threw out two Master Balls and shouted, "Ash, send out Ho-Oh to heal these Naganadel. We must take down Necrozma!"
"I know!" Ash shouted. At the same time, the three Legendary Birds—Suicune, Ho-Oh, Yveltal, and Cresselia—were all sent out. Pikachu immediately jumped onto Zapdos and charged towards Necrozma.
Xerneas, upon entering the battle, frowned as it looked at Necrozma in the sky, telepathically saying, "It's Necrozma? It doesn't look like it at all! It's a completely different Pokémon than before!"
"Never mind that, hurry and help those Naganadel," Ryan said.
Xerneas nodded, releasing rainbow-colored energy beams from its body with Geomancy, affecting everything around it. The severely injured Naganadel were healed, and even the fainted ones awoke from Ho-Oh's revival power.
"Everyone, don't hold back, go all out!" Ryan shouted.
Simultaneously, Ryan pulled out a handful of Poké Balls. The Poké Balls opened instantly, and a large number of legendary Pokémon appeared in the open space.
Looking at Necrozma in the sky, they all frowned: This wasn't the Necrozma they knew!
However, they had promised to help before, so now was not the time for reminiscing. Several domains intertwined, pressing down hard on Necrozma.
Necrozma's eyes flashed with disdain. With a wave of its hands, the boundless pressure directly shattered the domains of the legendary Pokémon. Some legendary Pokémon whose strength had not yet reached the domain level were simply crushed to the ground.
Necrozma waved its hand again, and countless giant rocks solidified around it, then Power Gem blasted down.
"Mewtwo, Skill Swap!" Silver roared.
Mewtwo instantly swapped its ability with that of Regigigas, gaining the Levitate ability. Regigigas instantly rushed towards Necrozma, gripping it tightly with both hands, and with a sudden burst of strength, tried to crush Necrozma with Crush Grip.
However, Necrozma's body scattered, easily dodging Regigigas's attack. Gravity slammed it down, then with a swipe of its claws, several energy blades with Night Slash shot towards Megalo Tower. Necrozma knew its power was being suppressed, so its primary objective was to destroy the tower.
Yellow frowned as the energy blades hurtled towards Megalo Tower. She mounted Registeel, who used Magnet Rise to fly up and shield the attack with Protect.
The energy blades shattered the barrier and struck Registeel, slamming both of them into the tower. Yellow struggled to her feet, her body aching. Registeel wasn't seriously injured, but judging from the attack, it was a Dark-type technique.
Yellow chuckled bitterly: "A simple Night Slash, and it's this powerful?!"
But then she suddenly noticed a group of trembling Poipole behind her. Yellow frowned, walked over, and crouched down, saying, "It's dangerous here. You guys should leave quickly, don't get caught in the crossfire. Hey, there's a shiny Poipole. But now's not the time for that. Follow me, I'll cover you. You guys hurry up and get out of here."
Yellow patted the shiny Poipole's head, then rushed outside again with Registeel. The group of Poipole quickly followed, fleeing into the distance under Yellow and Registeel's cover.
Seeing that Yellow was alright, Ryan shouted, "Pokémon with Lock-On moves, lock onto Necrozma immediately and unleash your strongest attack! Don't hold back! Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre, the three of you, maintain your Domains and protect everyone. Those with healing abilities, stop attacking and focus on supporting the other legendary Pokémon to ensure the main attackers don't fall! Sophocles, how long will it take for that tower to completely suppress Necrozma's power?"
Sophocles frowned and contacted Phyco, then said, "They're already operating at full power. I'll go help later, but make sure Megalo Tower isn't attacked! It'll take at least fifteen minutes!"
With that, he immediately ran towards Megalo Tower. Serena couldn't stand it any longer and sent Zapdos with Sophocles directly to the top of Megalo Tower.
Hearing Sophocles's words, Ryan said, "Then, let's hold out for these fifteen minutes!"
With that, Ryan released all his Pokémon except Solgaleo. The question now isn't whether they can win, but how to survive these fifteen minutes! If they can hold out for fifteen minutes, the machine weakening Necrozma will activate at its maximum power, supposedly reducing Necrozma by a tier, enough to be defeated even by a group of Naganadel.
Unfortunately, this machine can only power up slowly; if it were to go to maximum power at once, it wouldn't be able to withstand the immense energy and would burn out. This slow activation is one of the machine's drawbacks. Another drawback is that the machine is too large to move and is quite delicate, unable to withstand even the slightest impact.
However, it's still effective; Necrozma's strength is gradually being suppressed and weakened.
"Yveltal, Oblivion Wing!" Ash shouted.
Yveltal unleashed a massive burst of dark energy from the air, sweeping towards Necrozma. Necrozma, struck by Oblivion Wing's dark energy, was significantly weakened.
Taking advantage of Necrozma's vulnerability, a barrage of Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves rained down on it.
But the next second, Necrozma recovered from the assault. It roared angrily, for it hadn't expected to be unable to fully defend against Yveltal's Oblivion Wing.
This also meant that the weakening machine in Megalo Tower was gradually taking effect; if this continued, they should be able to defeat Necrozma!
