Chapter 8 - CHAPTER 8 :THE BEGINNING OF THE SHINOBI WORLD

Two months had passed since their return from Sirian Island. The calm of Budekan was deceptive, for Madara's mind never rested. Without warning, he left the city, journeying alone into lands uncharted by the Akatsuki, seeking the next step in his power.

The journey was arduous, taking him through jagged mountains, dense forests, and silent valleys where even the wind seemed to bow before his presence. At the end of the second month, he arrived at a hidden cave, one whose entrance had been sealed by time and forgotten by most.

Madara stepped inside, the darkness thick, yet his Eternal Rinnegan seemed to illuminate the path. At the cave's heart, a series of ancient seals glimmered faintly. His hand moved over them, instinctively tracing patterns.

Darkness swallowed the cave.

Not emptiness—

but memory.

The moment Madara Uchiha's Eternal Rinnegan stabilized, the world shattered.

The stone beneath his feet dissolved into light, and his consciousness was dragged forward—not through space, but through time.

A battlefield appeared.

No chakra.

No ninjutsu.

Only steel, blood, and fire.

"This," a voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere, "is the world before lies were written into history."

Madara stood unseen as armies clashed below. Humans fought like beasts—weak, desperate, fragile.

"No chakra existed," the voice continued. "The world was raw. Mortal. Power belonged only to those who seized it."

The vision shifted.

A boy stood alone atop a hill.

Black hair. Calm eyes. No fear.

"He was born fifty years before Kaguya Ōtsutsuki descended upon Earth," the voice said. "A human… yet not entirely bound by humanity."

The boy moved.

Enemies rushed him.

In an instant, reality bent.

Dark energy—mana, magic, cursed force—erupted from his body. Warriors were crushed, frozen mid-step, their bodies torn apart without touch.

"At ten, he thought like a king. At twelve, his kingdom was attacked."

The scene burned.

Fire consumed villages. Screams echoed endlessly.

The boy stood in the ashes.

His parents lay dead.

He smiled.

"Not from joy," the voice said. "But from awakening."

The vision accelerated.

At nineteen, the boy vanished from the world.

At twenty—

The sky split.

A massive being descended, white-skinned, horned, divine.

Ōtsutsuki.

"This was not Kaguya," the voice clarified. "But one of her kind."

The boy raised his hand.

The fight that followed shook continents.

The Ōtsutsuki hurled chakra constructs, gravity waves, space-bending techniques.

The human answered with pure annihilation.

Mana clashed with chakra.

The Earth cracked.

The heavens screamed.

In the end, the Ōtsutsuki fell.

The boy stood over the corpse, breathing steadily.

"He took the eyes," the voice said. "The Rinnegan."

Blood streamed as the vision slowed.

The boy carved out the eyes himself.

"And merged them with his own."

Two months passed in moments.

Rituals.

Screams.

Near death.

Insanity.

Then—

The eyes opened.

Dark purple. Layered rings. 12 tomoe which then through generations turned 16 tomoe.

"The first Eternal Rinnegan," the voice declared. "A power not meant for gods… but greater than them."

Madara felt pressure crush his lungs.

"Before even that," the voice continued, "he was undefeated. This power did not make him strong—it confirmed what already was."

The world changed again.

Underground.

Beneath oceans.

Beneath mountains.

A colossal network of energy veins spread across the planet.

"He built the Leyline," the voice said. "A power source surpassing chakra fruits… surpassing the planet itself."

Madara watched dense chakra—black and heavy—flow endlessly.

"Mana and chakra were fused," the voice explained. "Dense chakra. Infinite. Without decay."

The Eternal Rinnegan pulsed.

A city known as the tower city was built on top of every access point of the layline the layline would change its position every 100 or 50 years.

"If the leyline were destroyed," the voice continued, "the eyes themselves would endure. They contain their own storage space—limitless."

Artifacts appeared.

Sealed weapons.

Ancient constructs.

"I hid them within the leyline," the voice said calmly. "And opened a gateway to another world known as the upside down world a world of beyonders beings close to gods"

Time twisted.

Then—

The sky fractured again.

Ōtsutsuki descended.

An invasion.

A war that engulfed Earth.

"I watched," the voice said. "For one year."

The battlefield expanded.

Gods clashed.

Human armies were erased.

"And then Kaguya arrived."

Madara's vision sharpened.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki descended like a goddess.

Power absolute.

"She bore children," the voice continued. "And I used them."

The vision darkened.

Ritual chambers.

Seals carved into flesh.

Eyes divided.

"I split the Eternal Rinnegan," the voice said. "Six tomoe. and the orignal rinnegan Genes implanted into Kaguya's children."

Madara understood.

" the voice added. "I never married. I never had children."

The scene turned tragic.

Bodies collapsed.

Blood soaked stone.

"Many died," the voice said. "Their bodies were unworthy."

The vision shifted again.

Centuries passed.

The same illness appeared.

Hagoromo.

Naruto.

Itachi.

Others.

"This sickness," the voice explained, "is rejection. The body resisting borrowed divinity."

The world trembled.

"When you awakened the Rinnegan," the voice said, "you were chosen."

Madara clenched his jaw.

"I resurrected you after the Fourth Great Ninja War," the voice admitted. "Not by Edo Tensei… but by my will."

Chains of light appeared.

"I was sealed by the Heavenly Order," the voice said. "Before I could finish."

Silence followed.

"One final truth," the voice said. "If your eyes are taken… the curse will activate. You will be trapped in a sealing dimension."

Madara smiled faintly.

"And the eyes of Shibai?" he asked.

"They resemble mine," the voice replied. "But they are incomplete."

The visions shattered.

these eyes are not actual dojutsu it is a way of accessing my true power so even if the eyes get destroyed during battle they regenerate....

Madara stood alone in the cave once more.

The Eternal Rinnegan stabilized.

Far away.

Hidden Leaf Village.

Deep underground.

Forbidden seals ignited.

A coffin rose slowly.

"Begin synchronization," a voice ordered. "If this fails, we die."

The lid cracked open.

A dead shinobi's eye twitched.

Lightning split the sky above Konoha.

They were testing the dead—

to challenge a god.

why it has to be this way said obito:i will not accept this"
