Chalice.
By the time I finally came to, I wasn't so surprised to discover that no one had stayed by my bedside all through the time I was out.
There were no drugs on my side table, no chairs close to my bed. No nothing. It felt as though everyone had finally decided to get rid of me. Like they all didn't care if I lived or died anymore, and it was all Leilani's fault.
This is what she'd been after from the onset. To ruin me. To hurt me just as much as I had done to her. It was the reason she had attended my wedding today.
She hadn't come to celebrate but had come with the sole aim of ruining everything.
A shudder ran up my spine at the thought. However, something still felt weird to me. Something about what she'd done earlier still felt strange;
And it was the fact that she'd waited until the triplets and I said our wedding vows and then marked me before she had come up with those pieces of evidence.
It was as if… she wanted me to be with them.
