As the monsters were gathering around Aden's house, Aden panicked, 'Wh.. What is happening? From where these monsters came?' The growls of the monsters were getting louder and louder, Aden turned back finding a way to run away. He saw a back door that was half opened, without wasting any time he stepped out of the house and started to run.
As he was running, his leg accidentally slipped and he fell down. The noise of that was enough to grab the attention of the monsters and the monsters saw Aden lying on the ground. Aden panicked even more as the monsters marched towards him, he forced himself and stand up and run.
"Run.. Run, you idiot don't stop!" Aden was thinking this in his mind while running. The monsters were chasing him with an incredible speed almost catching up with him, then suddenly the ground started to tremble and the monsters and Aden fell down.
Aden looked at the ground, a giant snake like creature pierced through the black ground revealing himself, the creature roared and then attacked on the monsters, the monsters at that moment were helpless. The creature killed almost every monster present there, Aden took the advantage of this moment and started run once again.
Aden ran as far as he could and after getting far enough he looked back from a top of a mountain, he saw a giant beast around the height of 7 feet was fighting from that snake like creature. The beast effortlessly killed the creature with his big claymore.
"From where that snake like creature even came out? Huff... Huff... Well I am safe now." Aden looked forward and saw a dark forest, the forest didn't had any green leaves, the leaves were black. As Aden saw that it was getting even more dark and the red crimson moon was rising, Aden thought to find a safe place to stay for the night because he doesn't know what kind of monsters will he face in the night.
Aden started to walk slowly into that dark forest, 'I better find a safe place to stay for the night, there can be even more strong monsters than the previous ones.' As Aden was walking through the forest he stumbled upon a small cave, he looked in the cave properly and checked that it is safe or not.
After looking and ensuring that the cave is safe he saw a big rock near the cave almost size of the entrance of the cave. "Double" Aden said the chant and 2 black figure like him emerged from his shadow.
"Um... Can you both block the entrance of this cave by using that rock?" Aden pointed at the rock. The figures said nothing at went towards the rock and one of them lifted his hand and used a power similar to telekinesis, one of the shadow returned in Aden's shadow.
'Huh... Can that one shadow do it alone?' Aden believed in that shadow's decision, and said him to do it before any monster attack on them.
Aden went in the cave and saw the rock floating in the sky with black aura like thing coming towards the entrance of the cave, the shadow slowly blocked the entrance and returned to Aden's shadow.
"I never thought that these shadows will be that useful. I may use them even more to know about them even more, specially their powers." Aden once again opened the diary that he picked from that house and read the description. After reading the functions of the double chant once again he went to sleep.
As he was going to sleep he accidentally opened a different page of the diary and saw a page that is folded to fit inside it, Aden unfolded the page and as he unfolded it, the page turned out to be a map. There was a location marked with 'X' and there was a name, "Exit?" Aden read. "Does this mean that that place is an exit for me or something else?"
Aden thought and looked at the map once again, the location was properly marked from a house to the exit, "Does this mean that where I was earlier was the house mentioned in the map?" Aden curiously thought. "Well, I'll go there tomorrow, the location is properly marked so I won't get lost."
