Rome.
Santino D'Antonio's Estate.
Gianna received another report from the family killers.
In broad daylight… slapped in front of everyone!
In full view… beaten senseless!
Some even… so scared they wet themselves.
The batch of family killers originally tasked with assassinating Alex had, under Santino's command, been systematically eliminated by Alex himself.
Listening to the reports on the phone, Gianna realized something painfully obvious: she had consistently overestimated her brother.
A rotten mudbrick… impossible to prop up!
More than Santino, Gianna felt heartbreak for the elite killers pulled from family branches all over the world.
Undoubtedly, because of her misjudgment, these killers… would all die in Prague.
Sighing, she rubbed her temples and asked, "What's the situation over there now?"
"Miss Gianna… it's bad," came the voice on the other end. "Alex's strength far exceeds anything we anticipated. He's more formidable than any target we've faced… even…"
Gianna's brow furrowed at the tremor of fear in the voice.
"Even what?"
"Even we… think this mission is impossible to complete."
"Why?"
"So far, ten of our men are dead, another eight from the other team. And every bullet we've fired at him… has been perfectly avoided!"
Silence. Like the quiet before a storm in the town of Hallstatt, Gianna suddenly grasped a terrifying truth: even if she could distract Alex's elite operatives, could Alex himself match their top-tier skills?
For the first time, this question truly struck her. A deep sense of helplessness surged through her chest.
Finally, she spoke, her decision made with difficulty:
"Withdraw… and take that idiot Santino with you."

Meanwhile, in the alley…
The fight raged on.
Bang! Bang!
Two more killers fell. Behind them, bounty hunters who had followed joined the fray.
Two motorcycles shot into the alley, engines roaring as they leapt off the steps, heading straight for Alex!
At the same time, four or five bounty hunters appeared at the alley's mouth, pistols drawn.
[9mm round: danger 50% — trajectory: left rib — avoid: move right 13cm or crouch]
[Harley bike: danger 89% — trajectory: left forehead — avoid: crouch or lie down]
[Harley bike: danger 83% — trajectory: right shoulder blade — avoid: sidestep or crouch]
Hearing the roar of engines, Alex spun. Predictive data flashed before his eyes. Two motorcycles leapt high overhead, coming close to his head. Calm as ever, his face remained expressionless.
At the alley mouth, gun muzzles spat sparks—bullets flying.
Crouch. Shift right. Whiz—
Bullets aimed for his left rib scraped his shoulder and passed behind. The motorcycles hugged his sides, landing and racing deeper into the alley.
Bang! Bang!
Anna and the Sisterhood fired back instantly, taking cover or using armored jackets to shield their heads while returning fire.
Pfft! Bullets thudded into flesh sporadically. Alex rose, scanning the alley deeper in.
Three Camorra Family killers, three Hallstatt operatives, lined up. Pistols raised, advancing fast while firing.
Bang. Bang.
Alex's eyes were filled with disdain. He stepped forward, tilting his head left. Whiz! Whiz! Bullets flew past left ear and underfoot.
Crossing a step, his body shifted right. Whiz! Whiz! Whiz! Three bullets flew through the air, embedding in the ground.
Now, the distance between Alex and his attackers was less than ten meters. A murderous glint appeared in his eyes.
Dual pistols raised, dodging two bullets while firing in turn. Bang. Bang. Alternating fire struck two killers squarely in the chest—both dropped.
They continued firing, two more fell…
Finally, as the last two reached him:
Alex's left-hand gun fired while the stock slammed into the right-side killer's cheek. His right-hand gun spat two more rounds. He dropped low, smashing the chest of the left-side killer with the pistol as if it were an iron fist.
Even without full strength, the impact broke the right-side killer's jaw, dislocating it, and sent four or five teeth flying. On the left, the blow shattered ribs despite body armor, puncturing deep.
Alex stepped over them, elegantly spinning. His guns aimed at their heads—bang! bang!—bullets tore through both.
No pause. His gaze moved to the four fallen killers nearby. The alley reeked of blood and chaos.
