Cutting in sawa reaches from the name greta has named johan, "Ok, first off man maiden sounds... wrong, metal man sounds better don't you think?"
Shrugging, greta points towards johan, "I meaaaaan? What else could we call him then? People call use metal maidens but what about him? Metal bachelor? Pffft! Ahahahaha! Oh god no! That sounds even more wrong!"
Looking at greta now laughing almost hysterically, sawa and franke holding in a laugh i could only shrug.
"Well it dosen't really matter what im called, the end goal is still that we will be fighting against the beast tanks anyways. As long as that becomes true and we graduate me being called whatever won't really affect me much."
As I could then feel a metallic hand pat and rub my head, turning around i can see Valeria patting me silently. As I could only sigh.

After some more "bonding" the sounds of gunfire has silenced before another whistle gets blown catching the rest of everyone and the class's attention.
"Alright the first half is done. Groups five to eight! Get to positions! Groups one to four standby for now!" As iosifin then blows in her whistle again.
"Welp let's go guys, don't wanna get tech angry right?" As with a shrug greta lifts up her cannon as she then starts sauntering off to one of the empty spots in the gun range with the rest of us following her.
Once we all arrive greta then turns around, "soooo, who's going to go first? We definetly dont have all day."
As we all then look at each other, prompting me to sigh.
"Alright I'll do it since I am the leader and all. For now here's what we'll do, everyone load up your gear and once i finish firing my testing shots the next one will switch. Also franke you can go last. Since you did say you don't have much experience we could probably help Once we are all done."
"Oh! Um ok! Thank you."
With greta then leaning over and slinging an arm over Frankenstein shoulder, "no need to thank him, we are a team and we should atleast help each other out. Specially since well... we ARE a team and im preety sure our scores will be dependent on that..."
"So you better practice franke! I don't want anyone dragging me down!" With a humph sawa pokes Franke's cheek opposite of greta.

After loading ourselfs up with the training rounds, I step up first on the slightly elevated firing position before looking over my shoulder and checking the rockets now loaded onto the rail launcher.
And like when I first tested my first shots. I raise my right arm to have it somewhat leveled with my sight, then fire off one shot at the target 700 meters away. And seeing the rocket land slightly short of it.
Before firing another shot at the 700 meter target and missing it over head by quite alot...
After a while, with franke finishing her testing shots greta beams while hugging franke, "wow franke you definetly didn't lie about this being your first time shooting with your equipment ahaha!"
With me looking out at the firing range in where a few dudes shells have created small holes littered sparsely in the ground around the 300 meter target.
And judging from the 5 shots that everyone and myselfs took. Their accuracy and scores are like this:
1st. Anastasia 80 points
2nd. Valeria 68 points
3rd. Johan and Greta 55 points
4th. Sawa 47 points
5th. Franke 5 points
". . ."
As I then overhear the girls behind me, franke apologizing for her lack of experience again and again, with greta ans sawa trying to calm her down.
Before turning around and patting franke on her shoulder, "its fine this is what? Your second time shooting with your gear right? And honestly from what I know with your gear's weapon this kind of inaccuracy is somewhat normal. Since your gun is a stubby 75 millimeter gun, its basically a small Howitzer. So you dont have to worry. And besides we're here to help. So if you ever need help practicing your aim we don't mind. Right girls?"
"Yep! Me, sawa, Valeria and Anastasia has got your back! And besides this is only the first shooting activity a low score won't affect much I bet!" With Valeria giving a thumbs up as greta group hugs the girls.

After comforting franke and overhearing the other groups finishing their testing shots aswell, I spot iosifin head towards the first group down the line, "alright, for now franke just do what we've told you before when professor Iosifin comes to grade users."
"As for sawa... thats a gun limitations on you aswell... since you have a 45mm gun and not really that suited for long range shots. And as for me and greta... welll I guess its good enough but we could be better."
"Hmph! Yeah yeah yeah, i blame my gun" snorting as sawa places her gun down by the table she is leaning on
"Hey! I did well thank you very much! And besides my role may be as an atg but realistically im more of an artillery myself all because of this big boy." As she knocks on her gun that she has placed on a table next to her.
"But man! Johan you didn't lie to me abour your sister right? Are you sure she is also new? Because even she out did Valeria by quite a margin!"
With me looking at myselfs then shrugging. "I mean we did say we had some experiences with shooting a bit. But really this is our... well now aecond time shooting with our gear."
"Well. Now I feel like i need to practice more because of you two!"
As I then turn around to see Valeria just staring at Anastasia.
