Chapter 376 - MTT Chapter 376 : Sending Obito to See Rin

Uchiha Obito looked completely bewildered.

"You know my name?"

"Of course I do," Ryōsuke replied slowly. "You're the man who, because of Rin's death, controlled the Nine-Tails to attack the Leaf Village, killing your teacher Minato and Kushina. You truly are utterly deranged."

*In the original storyline, not only did he attack the Leaf Village, causing the deaths of countless civilians and ninja, but he even turned his blade against his own clan later on. He truly was ruthless and twisted. Don't even try to claim he had any goodness left in him. Even the most heinous villains weren't this evil.*

Obito looked shocked. The other party was right; he really was the one who killed Minato and Kushina. He never expected this fellow clansman to actually know his identity. Minato-sensei was undoubtedly a stumbling block to realizing his plan. As for Kushina, he had no choice. To achieve the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, he had to obtain the Nine-Tails.

"If the village hadn't sent Rin on that mission, how could she have died?"

Ryōsuke was utterly speechless. "You actually blame the village for Rin's death? How incredibly stupid. Is it possible that Rin's death was orchestrated by Uchiha Madara? That guy is the real murderer."

Obito wore a look of sheer disbelief. "What are you talking about? Why would he do such a thing?"

He had never even imagined such a possibility.

*It was clearly the Mist Village that sealed the Three-Tails inside Rin and controlled her to return to the Leaf Village to destroy it. It couldn't have been Uchiha Madara's doing. If that were true, wouldn't I just be a clown manipulated by others? In that case, wouldn't the so-called Infinite Tsukuyomi plan to create a world with Rin be completely ridiculous? I would have actually been helping the person who killed Rin complete his plan.*

Ryōsuke looked at Obito. "He only did it because he wanted a useful tool. He used your love for Rin to completely corrupt you and turn you into his pawn. Do you really think the Mist Village was stupid enough to rely on something as weak as the Three-Tails? Did they really believe that releasing the Three-Tails in the Leaf Village would be enough to destroy it? Furthermore, the Infinite Tsukuyomi you believe in is nothing more than a foolish genjutsu. Rin wouldn't truly be alive; she wouldn't even have a soul."

Hearing Ryōsuke's words, Obito was completely dumbfounded.

At that time, the village still had the Third Hokage, his teacher Namikaze Minato, and the Uchiha Clan. With the strength of the clan and those two Hokage, a mere Three-Tails obviously couldn't have threatened the village. There wasn't even a large-scale Mist Village ninja army coordinating with the Three-Tails' attack at the time. Wouldn't that just be a completely futile endeavor with no chance of success?

He didn't dare to believe it, yet he had no choice but to. Tailed Beasts were strategic assets; the Mist Village wouldn't launch such a meaningless attack. Even if the attack succeeded, it wouldn't cause much damage to the Leaf Village, and they would even lose the Three-Tails in the process.

Obito felt a surge of rage.

*So this was the real reason Uchiha Madara had White Zetsu save me? He even intentionally had Kakashi kill Rin right in front of me. His goal was to push me into darkness.*

Suddenly, a splitting pain erupted in his head. Not only had he executed the plan to attack the Leaf Village, but just as the other party said, he had acted without a shred of humanity. He had caused the death of his teacher Minato and slaughtered countless Leaf Village ninja and civilians. And to think he used to constantly tell Rin that he would become Hokage to protect the village and end the war.

*Just what in the world have I done?!*

Ryōsuke looked at Obito, whose expression was twisted in agony. "It seems you've finally figured it out."

Obito let out a deep sigh. "What does it matter if I've figured it out? It's too late for everything now. I've committed unforgivable sins. Just kill me."

Right now, all he wanted was for death to end it all. He no longer had any desire to carry out the so-called Infinite Tsukuyomi plan. Nor did he have any way to implement it. Having committed such atrocities, there was no place for him in the Leaf Village. Despite the vastness of the shinobi world, there was no place for him anywhere.

Hearing Obito's words, Ryōsuke struck him directly in the stomach with another palm strike, releasing the seal on his body. "End your own life. Perhaps you'll still be able to see Rin in the Pure Land."

Obito felt a bit helpless at this moment. *Does this guy not want to kill me himself because he's afraid of dirtying his hands?*

However, he wasn't angry; instead, he was concerned about another issue. "Will I really be able to see Rin in the Pure Land after I die?"

"You should be able to."

Ryōsuke recalled the events of the original storyline. Indeed, Obito had seen Rin after his death. This was likely the true resting place meant for Obito.

Obito instantly snapped to attention, his eyes filled with excitement. It was exactly as the other party had said earlier. After death, a person's soul would enter the Pure Land. That meant the Rin he would meet wouldn't be an illusion, but Rin's true soul.

Without hesitation, he pulled out a kunai and plunged it directly into his own body, completely destroying his heart. A wave of intense pain washed over him instantly, but his heart was filled with exhilaration.

Although his body was composed of Hashirama's cells and possessed extremely tenacious vitality, as long as his heart was completely destroyed, he wouldn't be able to live much longer. He could feel his life force gradually slipping away. The scenery before his eyes began to blur.

"I have one last request. After I die, gouge out my eyes. Consider it a small repayment for what I owe the village. There's nothing else I can do now."

"Alright." Ryōsuke agreed without hesitation.

Eyes like Obito's were incredibly rare and powerful. If the Kamui dimension was used well, there weren't many people in the shinobi world besides himself who could deal with it. Minato had only been able to defeat Obito because of his formidable combat talent. But if Obito had known Minato's countermeasures, he wouldn't have fallen for the same trick again.

As Obito bled profusely from his wound, he gradually stopped moving. At this moment, a faint smile lingered on his face.

*I can finally go see Rin.*

Ryōsuke waited until Obito was completely devoid of life before directly gouging out his right eye. Naturally, there was also a Sharingan in his left eye socket, which he removed as well. He then placed them into a container.

With Obito's death, the dimension here gradually began to collapse. Ryōsuke decisively left through a portal. He returned to the shinobi world.

Since Obito was dead, the only one left was Black Zetsu.

He carefully sensed his surroundings. There was nothing within a ten, twenty, or even thirty-mile radius. Instantly amplifying his sensory abilities, he detected Black Zetsu's chakra signature forty miles away.

*Did that guy really run away that fast?*

But it didn't matter. Ryōsuke directly opened another portal, instantly locking onto a position right in front of Black Zetsu. Then, he condensed a black sphere in his right hand.

He hurled it straight into the sky, causing even the surrounding earth to begin trembling. Countless rocks and clods of earth flew up into the sky, and Black Zetsu, who was hiding underground, was no exception. He was completely unable to resist this terrifying gravitational pull.
