Wolvendom, located west of Mondstadt, is a place of raw nature, where the law of the jungle reigns supreme, and the strong prey on the weak every single day.
Most importantly, it is the resting place of Andrius's remnant soul. He is a God who adopted wolves and abandoned human infants as his people. In the final stages of the Archon War, he voluntarily gave up his divine seat as one of the Seven Gods, making the same choice as the God of the Hearth, Marchosius.
He sacrificed all his power to this land, leaving only a wisp of his soul to continue guarding the wolf packs and caring for the abandoned human children.
Because of this, Andrius's remnant soul is also known as one of Mondstadt's Four Winds. Furthermore, if someone can pass the trial of Andrius's remnant soul, they are qualified to receive the title of Knight of Boreas.
Due to minimal human interference, this place has become a paradise for wolves, with a thoroughly wild ecosystem where loud wolf howls can be heard from time to time.
As wolves are pack animals, their collective strength means they have virtually no natural predators in Wolvendom. In such an environment, even Hilichurl and other monsters that survive in Wolvendom will have higher combat power than those found elsewhere.
After all, monsters with low combat power have mostly become meals for the wolf packs.
For an ordinary person, the wolf howls alone would be enough to make them retreat.
But clearly, Klee, Yuto, and Shenhe were not among them. Not only that, Klee maintained her 'airplane run' posture, continuously calling out Razor's name.
After all, Wolvendom is vast, and finding Razor is not an easy task. Instead of Klee trying her luck everywhere, it's better to let the wolf packs of Wolvendom help.
The wolf packs of Wolvendom clearly recognized this red, seemingly 'hot' girl. After a series of howling transmissions, Razor, the white-haired boy deep within Wolvendom, learned of Klee's arrival and prepared to greet her.
However, at this moment, Razor's expression was very serious, completely lacking his usual innocent and harmless demeanor. Behind him, several wolves were already on the verge of death, their lives hanging by a thread. These wolves were Razor's family, and now, facing such a calamity, Razor's mood was extremely heavy and angry.
Wolvendom is not peaceful now. He must warn his friend to be careful!
The moment Yuto stepped into the Wolvendom forest, he felt a sense of killing intent different from other parts of Mondstadt. A faint smell of blood seemed to permeate the air.
At first, Yuto didn't pay much attention. Where there are wolves, there will inevitably be wild struggles, and the smell of blood is normal. However, as they delved deeper, Yuto sensed that something was wrong.
Blood is normal, but can this purplish-black blood truly belong to a legitimate Teyvat creature?
At this moment, Yuto suddenly remembered that in Razor's game story, Razor once mentioned that a group of wandering black wolves had come to Wolvendom, occupied a part of the territory, and broke the rules set by the Wolf King.
They attacked the wolf packs and the residents of Springvale, causing the reputation of the Wolvendom wolf packs to plummet. Hunters from Springvale even attempted to enter Wolvendom to encircle and eliminate the wolf packs.
However, they wouldn't care if it was the original wolf packs or the wandering black wolf packs.
In the game map, you will find three small Rifthounds in Wolvendom. In the entire Mondstadt region, only Wolvendom can see these disgusting creatures. Could the wandering black wolf packs refer to Rifthounds?
From the looks of it, the wolf packs of Wolvendom have already engaged in battle with the Rifthounds. However, these dark calamity beasts are full of harm. Both their fur and flesh contain highly toxic substances that can corrupt living beings.
For the local wolf packs, who rely on biting and tearing, it's easy to accidentally swallow their blood during combat, leading to poisoning and becoming one of the dark monsters.
Even powerful beings like Stormterror Dvalin and the Oni Damselette Miko Chiyo could not resist this poisonous corrosion, let alone the wolf packs of Wolvendom.
Thinking of this, Yuto immediately called out to Klee, who was confidently leading the way. Shenhe, noticing the solemn expression on Yuto's face, instinctively began to scan her surroundings for danger.
Hearing Yuto's call, Klee turned her head in confusion, only to find that both Yuto and Sister Shenhe had very serious expressions. She thought she had done something wrong again.
Klee: "Brother Yuto, Sister Shenhe, what's wrong? Did Klee do something wrong?"
Yuto: "It's not Klee's fault. It's just that Brother Yuto has a bad feeling. There's something bad in Wolvendom; we need to be careful."
Klee: "Something bad?"
Just then, a dark figure, hidden by the forest, suddenly pounced behind Klee. Klee, hearing the movement, only had time to glance back and found a fierce and terrifying Rifthound almost face-to-face with her.
It was as if in the next moment, Klee would be torn to shreds by the Rifthound's sharp claws. Unfortunately, that 'next moment' would never arrive.
A white figure rushed towards Klee at an even faster speed. The dark blue spear in her hand, the calamity queller, pierced directly through the Rifthound's body, preventing it from advancing another step.
With a slight flick of her spear, Shenhe flung the Rifthound, impaled on her calamity queller, away.
Still shaken, Klee was so startled by the sudden scene that her legs gave out, and she plopped down onto the ground. Her little face immediately crumpled, as if she was about to burst into tears.
Yuto walked over, helped Klee up, and brushed the dust from her collar, saying both to Klee and as a reminder to Shenhe: "Although Rifthounds are monsters, they still retain the behavior of wolves. They are also pack animals; there won't be just one."
Sure enough, from the direction of that Rifthound's earlier ambush, more than ten Rifthounds appeared, floating in mid-air. One of them was exceptionally large, standing over two meters tall, and faintly glowed with purple lightning.
Floating in the air means there are no footsteps, allowing for surprise attacks from behind the enemy without warning. Moreover, their speed is astonishing, and their claws also have the effect of making enemy wounds bleed continuously. Just these few points make them top predators.
Let alone the wolf packs of Wolvendom, even fully armed Knights of Favonius would not have many who could single-handedly defeat a Rifthound without injury. What's more, Rifthounds also have the characteristic of being pack animals.
Seeing this, Klee, instead, became energized and pulled out her Jumpy Dumpty from her backpack.
Bad guys! Bad guys! How dare you ambush Klee! Klee will blow you all up, you scoundrels!
