"What about the driver?" They turned to look at the pale man slumped over the steering wheel.
"The driver is stable enough for immediate transport to the nearest general trauma center. Let's prioritize the omega's stability first," the younger medic stated.
"Let the backup team handle the driver. Move!" They slid Levi's stretcher into the back of the ambulance. The ambulance's sirens immediately blared back on as it sped away, abandoning the wreckage and the injured driver to a different team of medics.
After some minutes, the ambulance screeched to a stop at the head omega hospital in the city. Through the narrow gap of his barely opened eyes, Levi noted the reinforced doors, the security checkpoints. The systems in play to soothe distressed omegas.
