Fu Ming Shi did not have the energy or time to entertain Ning Wei's wandering thoughts. Right now, his attention was on the drunk woman whom he had to carry upstairs.
"Xiao Wei, perfect timing." Fu Ming Shi tried to adjust Sing Ke's weight against his body. "Help me carry your mother upstairs. She's drunk."
Ning Wei walked closer to look at her mother. Her flushed cheek suggested that she was indeed drunk. Ning Wei looked at the manager in displeasure. "Brother Fu, why did you let her drink so much?"
Fu Ming Shi felt his blood boil upon hearing Ning Wei's words. "I didn't let her drink. She wanted to drink on her own."
"You should stop her."
"She's a grown-up adult. Can I control what she wants to do?" Fu Ming Shi huffed. "You know very well how powerful your mother can be."
Ning Wei chuckled as she recalled how Fu Ming Shi would cower around Qing Ke.
