A feeling Andrea wasn't familiar with but now,watching Luciana's arm on Liam's shoulders,she couldn't help but feel a pit in her stomach at the sight in front of her
The lady in front of her was a beautiful raven haired lady with a thin frame,her puppy like brown eyes scanned Liam with so much admiration,her small lips curved into a huge smile as she watched Liam talk.
Andrea felt a ping of jealousy,the lady was breathtaking. She looked like she walked straight out of a fashion magazine.
With her long legs and thin frame,anyone would think she models for fun.
Unlike Andrea,the lady wasn't short nor was she chubby.
She looked like the kind of lady that would go for beauty pageants and outshine the other contestants.
"And this is Andrea jones" Liam introduced,bringing Andrea out of her thoughts
"I'm Luciana" Luciana said dryly,extending her hand for a shake as her brown eyes scanned Andrea with disgust.
Andrea's thoughts skyrocketed to the last conversation she had with Liam after the kiss they shared.
Liam had told her that Luciana was the one,who paid her student to lay false accusations on her but now,looking at the beautiful Luciana she couldn't understand why she would do such a cruel thing to a nobody like her.
Andrea took Luciana hand with a smile. "Nice to meet you,Luciana"
Luciana quickly disengaged from the handshake,uncomfortable with being touched by a lowlife like Andrea.
Andrea was nothing but a blonde with a pretty face and Luciana was positive,her face was better looking than Andrea's.
Even Andrea's choice of clothing made Luciana disappointed.
"Right this way" Luciana led them into the house,never leaving Liam's side.
After what happened last night,Luciana was sure Liam only had feelings for her and Andrea was just a pawn in their game.
Andrea was left in the back,trying to keep up with their long legs as her eyes scanned the beautiful interior with awe.
Andrea had never seen anything so beautiful,the whole interior screamed of wealth and hard work. The walls were painted white with golden stripes adorned on the sides,on the celling were chandeliers,giving the hall a warm,earthly glow.
"Seat here,I'll go get the files" Luciana gestured to the long leather chairs resting on the walls.
Liam nodded and took a seat while Luciana exited the hall to get the files
"So what's the plan?" Andrea asked,her eye brows knotted in rage
"When she brings the business files,we will confront her" Liam replied simply,bringing out his phone from his pocket,his eyes glued to the screen as his fingers scrolled through the screen.
Andrea felt an unease feeling bubble in her stomach.
Andrea didn't like the way Liam was acting towards her,he hadn't speared her a glance since they walked into Luciana's house.
Could she have said something to upset him? Andrea wonders to herself as her gaze dances around Liam's face.
"You seem to be undressing me with your eyes" A smirk tinted Liam's lips,diverting his gaze from his phone to Andrea's face
"I wasn't"Andrea replied sharply,a blush painting her cheeks. Her blue eyes looking at everything but Liam
A chuckle escaped Liam's mouth.
"Lying doesn't look good on you,princess"
With an eye roll,Andrea was about to give Liam a sharp reply when Luciana's floral scent filled her nostrils,the sound of heels clicking behind her.
"I got the files" Luciana announced,holding a stack of paper in front of her
"Seat"Liam commanded,his sweet tone was quickly replaced with a sharp authoritative one and it sent a shiver down Andrea's spine as she watched Liam's eyes darken
Lucian's face paled as she swallowed and took her seat next to Liam.
Luciana was well aware with the agreement she had with Liam but she couldn't help the feeling of unease that bubbled down her throat
"I'll be asking you few questions and I need nothing but honesty"Liam's face hardened as he spoke,his lips pressed into a thin line
Luciana nodded simply,her brown eyes scanning Liam's black ones for any form of warmth but she found none and the made the unease feeling dig deeper into a stomach
Yesterday,Liam was a completely different person,he dropped her home and kissed her so passionately.
Luciana wasn't clear with why Liam was doing any of this but if it would ensure Liam being hers,she was ready to do anything including framing herself.
"What do you've against Andrea jones?"
Luciana's eyes wandered off to the blonde lady seated on the chair,fidgeting with her hands,Andrea looked like she was an high schooler in the principal's office,being scolded for getting too many A's.
Luciana couldn't help but wonder what Andrea did to catch the attention of the famous most handsome bachelor in Los Angeles.
They were worlds apart.
Liam had everything ,he had the looks and wealth to get any woman of his desire so why would he go for a lowlife like Andrea?
Liam did a horrible job convincing Luciana that he felt nothing for Andrea,Luciana could see how Liam looked at Andrea on the blogs:with so much admiration,with so much love.
No man had ever looked at Luciana that way but she was certain,this was just a phrase for Liam and when he gets bored of Andrea innocent acts,he would come to her and she would welcome him with open arms but for now,she has to play along.
"We went to the same high school and she always caught the attention of everyone including my boyfriend Brandon. Everything was long forgotten after graduation but i went to drop my nephew off at school when I saw her again and the memories of how she was worshipped hunted me like a familiar blow and I had to do something" Luciana confessed.
Confession took over Andrea's mind,She couldn't remember anyone by the name Luciana Vince or Brandon and even though,she was praised for her good looks in high school,she was also tagged a nerd and she never had a boyfriend.
"That's not true"Andrea chimed in,her head hung high.
A fuel of courage spiked through Andrea. She had come this far to find the truth about who laid accusations on her not lies,she wasn't going to seat there and watch Luciana spit out more lies.
It made no sense,Luciana was a famous celebrity who had it all. Why would she ever pick interest in somebody like her?
Except the true culprit was using Luciana as bait
"But it is,in school,I used a fake name,I didn't want anyone finding out about my true identity" Luciana long polished fingers opened the files and brought out a small picture.
"Remember her?" Luciana handed Andrea a picture.
Andrea's eyes the picture,realization hitting her.
It was a raven haired girl with braces and huge pair of glasses clouding her puppy like brown eyes
"Bianca" Andrea whispered,her fingers tracing the picture
"Yes"
Luciana did her researches on Andrea and she found few pictures of her on Facebook with a raven haired who bares a resemblance to her and a brunette,who looked like the pick me girl with her perfectly combed hair and ironed dress.
"I thought you died" A tear rolled down Andrea's cheeks.
Andrea remembered her friend Bianca,she was a nice girl who had a great sense of humor but for some reason Andrea and Bianca never really got along,charlotte was the one who always brought them together and Andrea remembered Bianca's boyfriend,he was a dark skinned with brown short hair but Andrea couldn't recall his name.
Just when Bianca and Andrea were starting to get along,her death was announced to the school.
The principal claimed she was killed by a fire accident so how could she possibly still be alive?
Liam moved to Andrea side a used his thumb to rid Andrea's cheeks of the tears clinging to her cheeks as he pulled her into a tight hug,Andrea couldn't control the tears.
"It's okay princess"Liam whispered,patting Andrea's back slowly until her sobs died down
Luciana watched the scene in front of her with a thud in her chest.
Andrea was touching what belonged to Luciana and it made her insides quiver with rage but she held herself back.
There was nothing Luciana could do,all she could do was watch.
"I'm sorry,I laid those accusations on you Andy,I wasn't in my right mind,please forgive me"Luciana pleaded,her eyes turning teary,not because of guilt but because she had to watched the man she loved the most,embrace another and it hurts so bad,she couldn't hold back her tears.
Andrea disengaged from Liam's chest at the mention of the name. Andy was what Bianca used to call her,back in high school.
Andrea told herself she was going to put whoever laid those false accusations on her behind bars but now,watching Luciana's brown eyes water,she couldn't help but feel a sting of pity.
Andrea's legs started to move on their own accord until she was standing in front of Luciana.
"We all do stupid things sometimes but it's realization and change that makes us whole. You made a mistake and that's understandable"
Luciana looked up to Andrea at the sound of her voice.
Looking into those blue eyes,Luciana couldn't tame the hatred that was spreading through her heart.
Andrea thought Luciana was crying because of her 'mistake' but Luciana was crying because the only man she had ever had eyes for,had his eyes on another and Luciana was going to make Andrea pay for every tear that fell from her eyes.
But with due time.
Tight hands wrapped around the side of Luciana's body and she fought the strong urge to push the lowlife off her but she didn't.
Durning the uncomfortable hug,Luciana shot Liam a stare and a smile of approval took over his thin lips.
Luciana's heart did a backflip and new barge of emotions cursed through Luciana's veins.
Liam was playing a game and Luciana wasn't the pawn.
Andrea was or so she thought.
Liam was a great actor and Luciana couldn't wait to do everything in her power to make Liam Walton, hers.
