A week later…
In another part of Los Angeles…
"Sir, I'm sorry to inform you that I'll be dropping my resignation letter. My wife,Linda is pregnant and we would be moving to Florida,we think it would be a nice environment for the baby"
Liam's face fell as he read the email sent to him by his personal assistant,Ryan.
Ryan Scott had been Liam's personal assistant for as long as he could remember and he couldn't believe he was resigning.
Liam angrily slammed his laptop shut,bringing out his phone and dialing Andrea's number,he placed it close to his ear hoping to hear,Andrea's sweet melodic voice that would immediately lighten his mood but he was sent to a voice mail.
"This is charlotte,Andrea's friend,she's forcing me to do her voice note and she probably doesn't want to talk to you so leave a message after the beep"
Annoyance flashed through Liam's features as his mouth started to spit out words
"Andrea,I'm sorry baby,please call me back,we need to talk" with that said,Liam disengaged from his phone
He took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his damped hair,he took long steps to the full length mirror plastered on the wall in his room.
Once,in front of it,his eyes scanned his facial features: They were huge dark eye circles shadowing his eyes,due to his lack of sleep,his dampened hair dripping a pool of water on his face and his lips dry.
A sigh escaped his lips as he wore his suit and left the room.
It's been a week since he had a good night rest or a good meal and it was staring to affect him.
He slept off durning meetings,his stomach growled durning interviews and rumors about him were spreading like wild fire,all over the blogs and news.

"Once,handsome and radiant Liam Walton had now lost his spark,his eyes always dull and expressionless,his weight now reduced. Could this have anything to do with the high school teacher,Andrea jones? We need answers,is Liam okay? Should we involve him in our prayers?"
A feminine voice buzzed from the television,his hand reached for the remote and he immediately turned it off.
Anger and sadness cursed through Liam's veins.
As much,as he hates to admit it,the news and blogs are not completely wrong, he wasn't as huge or as muscular as he used to be because he stopped having the appetite to eat and the strength to go the guy. His eyes held a dull glint because he haven't been able to close them probably.
And all this was because of Andrea, she haven't said a word to him or responded any of his messages or emails and it bothered him, he went to her house severally and knocked even threatened to sleep outside but it was all to no avail,the door was locked and no sound came from the house so he couldn't tell if Andrea was home or not.
Andrea brought light to his life only for her to shut it out when he needed it the most but if he was being honest with himself,he couldn't blame Andrea for her decisions.
He had hurt her deeply and he wasn't sure if she could ever forgive him but as long as he lives,he vows to do everything in his power to make her forgive him because with Andrea,Liam is empty.
A knock sounded on the door snapping Liam out of his thoughts
"Come in" Liam simply replied and a small framed lady who looks to be in her twenties entered the room.
"Sir,someone is here to see you,he said he's family"The lady announces,her head hang low,patiently waiting for an instruction
"Let him in"Liam simply replied,waving his hand off in a dismissive manner
The lady immediately exited the room.
Liam's thoughts skyrocketed to who the visitor might be,he had two people in mind: either his father or his brother and he wasn't ready to see any of them but they were family and he couldn't push them away
"Lam Lam" A raspy voice echoed through the room
Liam raised his head up to see his brother,Lucas,wearing a toothy smile,his eyes mixed with excitement and a bit of mischief, he took long steps towards Liam and leaned in for a hug
"Good to see you too" Liam rolled his eyes,immediately disengaging from the hug.
Liam and Lucas had slowly morphed into friends,thanks to Andrea.
Andrea advised Liam to give his brother another chance and Liam did, Liam gave Lucas a job as a manger in one of his companies and since then,they've been on good terms but Liam still doesn't trust Lucas,that's why he hired a new staff to check all the signed documents and money transfers,just to be sure another 'mistake' doesn't occur.
Lucas took a seat on the long brown sofa in front of Liam,his eyes surveying Liam's office, Lucas had only been to Liam's office countless times and he still stares with awe every time,he's in.
Liam's office was spacious,it looked like a medium sized hall where birthday parties could be organizes but the interior said otherwise. The walls were painted white with golden strips admires to the sides,a big television was hanging on the wall accompanied with big speakers by the sides,the painting of monalisa was hanging tightly above his chair,a fridge was lazily resting on the side of the wall, a table was placed in the center of the room,two chairs standing opposite sides.
Lucas couldn't help the seed of jealousy that expanded through his chest.
Lucas office was small compared to Liam's office.
Lucas was the elder brother,he deserved the bigger things but Liam had it instead of him because fate had always been cruel but Lucas was hell bent on getting everything he thought he deserved and he had the one thing Liam valued the most in his control…Andrea and with the help of Andrea,he would not only take everything he thought should be his but he would also make Liam lose everything.
The thought of it brought a huge smile to Lucas face.
"What brings you here brother?" Liam asked,his tone low,his black eyes dull as they looked into Lucas brown orbs
A feeling of bliss erupted through Lucas veins.
Liam looked so bad with his huge eye circles and chopped lips
Looking at Liam's state,only boosted Lucas confidence
Andrea had so much effect on Liam and Lucas couldn't wait to use it to his advantage.
"I'm hosting a small gathering to celebrate my wife's birthday. Eve and the kids,would love it,if you come"
Lucas wife was turning 28 today and he couldn't wait to surprise her with a party and a huge cake.
Eve had stood with Lucas even when he had nothing,she always ensured Lucas saw the bright side in every situation even when he had a gambling problem and everybody judged him including his brother and his father, Eve for once never judged him instead,she stood by him ensuring she helps him stop his ways.
Eve was a wonderful woman who deserved the world and more.
Lucas was going to giving her everything,when he had accomplished his plans, he would shower Eve with expensive dresses and bags and for his daughter, Andrea,he would change her school to a rich people school.
"With everything happening,I don't think that would be a great idea,I'm sorry" Liam explained,his black eyes clouded over with sadness.
A sly smile spread across Lucas lips. "Andrea will be there"
