A small smile lifted the doctor's old features, her black eyes holding a glint of pity as she slides a few papers and pen across the table
Charlotte's eyes scanned the content of the paper, her eyes lazily tracing the words as her hands drew her signature
"I know, it's hard but it would get better" The doctor reassured, sliding the paper back to her side of the table
Charlotte tried to shot the doctor a warm smile but she failed, her face disappointing her as more tears runs down her brown eyes, her throat going dry with every sob.
Charlotte couldn't bare the pain that erupted through her chest, her mind was all over the place
Charlotte always imagined herself healthy and happy with Liam as her husband and beautiful kids running around their huge mansion but now, that dream wouldn't come to pass because she couldn't feel her legs
"You've to be strong, I know it hurts a lot but crying would only cause more pain" the doctor encourage, her hands reaching out to Charlotte's shaky ones

The doctor was wrong, charlotte was not strong, she only escaped coma because of luck not because of strength.

In Charlotte's opinion, Andrea was the strong one not her, Andrea always saw the bright side of everything.
When Andrea's parent never visited her, she always saw reasons to be happy even when Andrea failed whole fully in an exam, Andrea smiled saying "at least, I've next year to study harder" even when Andrea lost her job and her only source of incoming, she managed few smiles.
Charlotte always broke down every time things didn't got her way, she would cry for days, beating herself up

Charlotte's eyes flickered with doubt as they scanned the doctor, charlotte didn't believe she would ever be able to use her legs again regardless of the amount of exercise she does.

Charlotte's eyes widened at the doctor's word, her face lit up with a shimmer of hope as she wiped her tears
With the help of vitamins and constant exercise, charlotte should be able to gain her ability to walk again and now that, she thinks about it, she could also use her legs to manipulate people, earning herself lots of pity from them
With dried tears and new set of determination, charlotte smiled, her pouty pink lips lifted in hope

"Anytime, the ambulance would be here soon to drop you home" the doctor announced, diverting her attention to the loads of papers and files on the side of the table.
Charlotte rolled her wheel chair out of the doctor's office, the sound bouncing off the walls
Once outside, Charlotte's eyes scanned the long quiet hallway, the smell of antiseptics flaring up her nostrils as she rolled her chair beside the other chairs, fidgeting with her hands as she waited for the ambulance
