Color drained from Charlotte's face as her mind replayed Liam's words.
She'd always told herself she hated Andrea, but the moment Liam said she had been kidnapped, the hate drained from Charlotte's heart replaced with a feeling of concern and unease
Who would do such a cruel thing to Andrea? She was a sweet girl loved by everyone.
Charlotte thought to herself as she tried to steady her breath and her shaky hands
"Why haven't you involved the police?" Charlotte asked, her voice low barely above a whisper
"Luciana. She would kill Andrea if I do" Liam replied, his jaw tightened, eyes narrowing slightly.
It all made sense to charlotte, Luciana was the only one capable of doing such a cruel thing
Luciana is driven by her obsession for Liam but kidnapping Andrea is going too far even for Luciana
"What do we do?" Charlotte asked in confusion
"I've no idea" Liam ran his hand through his hair, removing the strands resting on his forehead but they stubbornly fell back to place, shadowing his eyes
Liam's thoughts were all over the place and nothing seems to be making sense at the moment
Liam doesn't understand why Luciana would go as far as kidnapping Andrea, he knew Luciana had developed an unhealthy obsession with him but he never thought, it would drive her to doing something so cruel and reckless
Liam couldn't help but blame himself for Andrea's kidnap.
Since he came into Andrea's life, he had only brought pain, if only Liam didn't fall head over heels for Andrea, Luciana would have never seen her as a target
"This is no time for tears, Andrea is in trouble" Charlotte snapped Liam out of his thoughts and that's when he realized a tear had managed to roll out his eyes.
Charlotte was right, he shouldn't be crying instead he should be thinking of ways to get Andrea out of where ever Luciana has her trapped in
Liam brushed the tear off his cheeks, his mouth opened slightly, unsure what to say.
"I've an idea but I need you to trust me" charlotte said calmly, her soft voice echoing through the empty hall.
Liam nodded, like an obedient child waiting for instructions
Liam was ready to do anything in his power to bring Andrea out of where ever Luciana is keeping her
"I might have a clue where Luciana is hiding Andrea but I'm not so sure yet, first I need to see her" Charlotte explained, her eyes never leaving his.
Charlotte once wanted Andrea died but now, looking Liam's glossy eyes and trembling lips, Charlotte couldn't imagine what Liam would do if Andrea was killed.
Yes, Charlotte saw Andrea as a threat
and Yes, Charlotte was madly in love with Liam but Andrea didn't deserve death just because she captured the heart of the most handsome man she had ever laid her eyes on.
Charlotte had spent few weeks with Luciana and she knew exactly what Luciana was like… Spoilt and makes decisions for the moment
Charlotte was sure that if she encouraged new ideas to Luciana, she would immediately drop her plan and follow Charlotte's plan without thinking it through
Charlotte didn't have a clear plan on how to free Andrea but she had a plan on how to get the location Andrea was held captive in.
"What's the plan?" Liam asked, he swallowed hard, lips parting with unease as he waited for an answer
"There isn't a plan yet but I assure Andrea would be out of there before the end of tomorrow" Charlotte assured, her voice steady with determination
Without thinking, Liam bent to Charlotte's level and pulled her into a hug, his hand wrapped tightly around the smalls of her back
Charlotte's cheeks reddened as the strong scent of Liam's cologne filled her nostrils
"Thank you, you've no idea how much this means to me" Liam whispers, disengaging from the hug
"Let's get you home" Liam cleared his throat, placing his hand on the wheel chair and rolling her out of the hospital door.
Once outside, the sun shines brightly on Charlotte's skin sending warm shivers down her spine.
The outside of the hospital was just as empty and quiet as the inside, few cars were parked outside yet there was not a single sound except the thudding coming from her chest, her stomach knotted as the emptiness of the long road stretched before her.
Liam stopped the wheel chair in front of a black BMW car, with a click of a button, the doors were opened revealing a pair of smooth black leather chairs and a dashboard that glowed with soft light.
Charlotte had never seen anything so expensive and beautiful, she couldn't help the gasp that escaped her lips
Liam scooped charlotte in his arms and placed her gently in the front seat, the leather connecting with her skin sending a chill down her spine as her stomach erupted with butterflies.

"Could you slow down a little?" Charlotte managed to say, her hands clutched the seatbelt, her heart beating rapidly in her chest.
Charlotte could understand Liam's anger but at the amount of speed he was going, charlotte would definitely end up back in the hospital and she couldn't let that happen
Charlotte's words rang through Liam's head and his grip on the wheel loosened, releasing his leg from the accelerator
"I'm sorry" Liam replied, his eyes wandering to charlotte, her eyes were wide in terror, her body pressed tightly on the chair, her knuckles white from the grip she had on the seatbelt
He bit the inside of his cheek, suppressing a laugh. Charlotte looks like she had seen a ghost and that amused him, a low laugh escaped his throat and Charlotte snapped her head towards him, her face now red with anger as she released her hand from the seatbelt
"You think this is funny? You almost got us killed" Charlotte yelled, her chest still blazing with unsteady breaths
Charlotte was scared to death, the road was flashing in her eyes and she thought Liam was going to hit the car on a lamp post, the heavy metal falling and crashing them both but that didn't happen, thanks to Charlotte stoping him with her voice and yet he thinks this is funny?
"Chill a little, I'm an excellent driver, I wouldn't have gotten us killed" Liam assured, his rich baritone voice smooth as he placed a comforting hand on charlotte but she immediately snugged it off
"Are you out of your mind? Who in their right mind almost gets himself killed and starts laughing?" She shot him a sharp look, eyebrows drawn tight.
Charlotte always viewed Liam as a perfect man but after what she just witness, she was convinced he was a psycho
"Fine, fine. I'm sorry" Liam raised his hands up in surrender, his lips pouted like a scolded child
With an eye roll, charlotte playfully pushes his shoulders. "Maybe it was a little funny"

The loud sound pierced through the air, a small light emulating from Liam's pocket.
