"45 more seconds and I'll slit this knife right across your throat" A ball of laughter bounced through the room.
This past two weeks had been nothing but fun for Luciana, she'd not only inflicted pain on Andrea but she also inflicted emotional pain on Liam and that made her heart leap with joy.
Luciana had finally gotten her revenge on Liam for causing her tears but a hollow feeling of dissatisfaction filled her chest, pressing heavy against her lungs.
She'd finally did it, once she uses the knife in hand to cut through Andrea's throat, Liam would be hers once and for all, nothing would ever come between them again
"Any last words?" Charlotte asked, pressing the knife against Andrea's cheeks, the cold metal sending a child down her spine
Andrea was terrified and weak, she had been tied to a chair for two straight weeks, her arms burned where the ropes bit into her wrists, her legs ached from being pressed against the hard floor, her back throbbed against the chair, every movement sending sharp pain through her body.
Andrea didn't know Luciana was capable of kidnapping and killing but she proved her wrong.
Andrea have been fed poorly, she was fed stale food morning and night by a masked man, who didn't accommodate any conversations
At first, Andrea rejected the food but was beaten to a pulp by Luciana, she had no choice but to keep eating the spoilt food, her body couldn't endure any more lashes from Luciana.
Andrea hadn't fully recovered from Luciana's blows and slaps back at Lucas house, she sneaked into the hospital and dragged Andrea out
The securities were bribed to do nothing, they just watched Luciana drag Andrea out like a dirty rag
Andrea's head was throbbing with pain, the ache spreading down her neck and into her shoulders.
Andrea couldn't take any more slaps or punches, her body couldn't take anymore.
Maybe death would be better, she would get to finally rest from the demanding life she lived.
She would no longer owe Liam an explanation and would no longer endure bearings from Lucas.
Death might be the only way out.
Andrea thought to herself
"None" Andrea replied weakly, her voice barely audio able, Luciana wouldn't have heard it, if she wasn't so close to Andrea.
"I'm sure Liam would love to watch this"
Luciana flashed her phone's camera in front of Andrea's face, her fingers hitting the record button
The bright light made Andrea squint her eyes in pain, for two weeks, she'd been in dim light, the light bulb hanging loosely above her head had been the only form of light she had received
"Open your eyes" Luciana spat, pushing the camera closer to her face to chapter the opened wounds and bruises
Luciana couldn't help the smirk that played on her lips, she was so proud of herself.
Weeks ago, she was sobbing in pain as she watched Liam flint Andrea like treasure but now, she had the upper hand.
She was just one step away from killing Andrea and that made her blood bubble in excitement
Andrea had caused her so much pain, Andrea didn't only take Liam from her but she also made Luciana question her looks.
Luciana always thought she was one of the most beautiful women in Los Angeles and she had loads of beauty pageant awards to prove it but Andrea made her think twice.
Luciana could remember those nights, she would stand in front of a mirror, crying and wishing she looked like Andrea
"Maybe if I had blue eyes and blonde hair, he would love me" she would tell herself back then, as a pool of water rolled out her eyes
But all that was in the past, she would kill Andrea and she would make Liam forget Andrea ever existed
"I gave you enough time Liam but you still couldn't make it" Luciana's voice echoed through the walls
"Your precious Andrea would have to suffer for your stupidity" Luciana pressed her fingers on Andrea's chin sending pain flying all over Andrea's body
"Open your eyes" Luciana commanded, her finger nails digging deep into Andrea's bruised flesh
Andrea opened her eyes only to shut them back, a piercing scream ripping through her throat as Luciana's fingers dug deeper into her cheeks, a pool of blood covering Luciana's fingers
"Too loud" Luciana pulled her finger away with a laugh
"I know you wouldn't believe me because you're still blinded by the love you've for her but I'm doing this for your own good, if I don't kill her, she would kill you and I can't let that happen" Luciana explained, the camera still fixed on Andrea's face
"I'm sorry Liam" Luciana turned off the camera and clicked send, a smile invading her lips as she watched the video send, she placed her phone back into her pocket.
Luciana's eyes scanned Andrea.
Andrea looked like she was about to give out soon, with her dull eyes and shivering body
Luciana has never killed anyone before, Andrea would be her first and definitely her last
Luciana pressed the knife on Andrea's neck, Andrea closed her eyes tightly waiting for the impact of the knife.
Andrea never thought she would die this way but it seems fate had other plans, she always wanted to have children and an handsome husband. She thought after she'd killed Liam and made him sign his properties in her name, she would kill Lucas too and move far away from Los Angeles and start afresh leaving her past far behind her but all that won't be possible, Luciana had the upper hand and there's nothing she could do about it.
A single tear rolled down her blue eyes as the knife pressed harder on her bruised skin
"I can't do it" Luciana confessed, taking the knife away from Andrea's neck
"If I ever leave here alive, I'll kill you" Andrea uttered bitterly
Andrea didn't have a death wish nor did she want to die but she had been through so much with Lucas and if Luciana doesn't end up killing her, she would have to face the pain of killing Liam and she wasn't prepared to watch Liam's black eyes look at her in hurt and disappointment as she pulls the trigger, taking Liam out of existence.
Andrea never imagined herself plotting to kill a billionaire but Lucas swooped into her life, promising her a generation of wealth if she just follow his steps.
Lucas explained everything about Liam to Andrea, she'd been confused at first but also blinded by her selfishness.
Andrea came up with a plan, the first night she met Liam wasn't a coincidence, she had made Charlotte's boyfriend break up with her encouraging a night out and Lucas was absolutely right, Liam only picked interest in Andrea because she didn't act interested or charmed by his looks and that caught his attention.
"I should have brought a gun instead" Luciana voice jolted Andrea out of her thoughts. "I guess a knife would just have to do the work"
Luciana took long steps towards Andrea, she placed the knife back on Andrea's neck, using the knife to draw straight lines
Once again, Andrea shut her eyes tightly accepting her fate and waiting for the impact but seconds passed and it never came instead the loud sound of sirens blazed through the room, loud footsteps filling their ears
