Amber watched with the same eager curiosity.
Klee paid 1000 Life Points, and Diluc's Field Spell The Mausoleum of the Emperor took effect.
That was the power of a Field Spell—one activation, both players benefit.
Suddenly, two yellow earthen dolls appeared on Klee's field.
Then, in a burst of dazzling light, they crumbled into dust, scattering like drifting powder. The dolls became the Tribute for summoning [Explosive Genius - Klee].
After they vanished, as if by magic, Klee appeared on her own field like a tiny fairy, wearing a wizard's hat and carrying her Dodoco pouch.
Her outfit's soft fabrics resembled the fluffy texture of sponge cake. The white tones looked like delicate cream, while the dark browns of her hat, gloves, and skirt frills carried the richness of fine chocolate. And that vivid, fiery red unique to Klee gleamed like a perfectly crafted candy candle—bright and dazzling like a star in the night sky.
The [Explosive Genius - Klee] Klee summoned was dressed entirely differently from the real Klee. In this moment, she truly looked like a tiny mage.

"I activate [Performapal Dododo-Koko]'s effect! If I control a monster whose name includes 'Klee,' I can Special Summon this card from my hand!"
After activating the effect, a yellow-and-white plush creature appeared on Klee's field. It had no legs or claws, only a tail, vaguely resembling a rabbit.
The adorable little creature felt as though it had stepped straight out of a fairy tale, radiating warmth and charm.
[Performapal Dododo-Koko] had arrived.

In the distant past, Klee's mother Alice had lovingly crafted this plush doll for her. She combined Dodoco with Klee's lucky four-leaf clover, like a shining star hanging from her backpack. From then on, Dodoco became Klee's inseparable companion.
Seeing Klee and Dodoco standing together gave Diluc a bad feeling—though he couldn't quite explain why.
"[Performapal Dododo-Koko] effect activate! During the Standby Phase, for every monster on the field, place 1 'Jumpy Dumpty' into the opponent's Deck! There are four monsters on the field, so four Jumpy Dumpties go into big brother Diluc's Deck!"
Dodoco flicked its tail and sent four Jumpy Dumpties into [Explosive Genius - Klee]'s hands. She caught them lightly, bounced them once, and then hurled all four straight at Diluc.
The four Jumpy Dumpties exploded in a chain of blasts.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Four consecutive explosions echoed across the field.
Each Jumpy Dumpty dealt 500 damage. All four detonated immediately—none of them entered Diluc's Deck.
Diluc, who still had 2500 Life Points, was blasted down to just 500.
"Holy shit!"
"Master Diluc is about to get blown out of existence—what on earth is this!?"
"Why did the Jumpy Dumpties explode immediately?!"
"What is happening!?"
"Klee's Deck is way too cursed... she doesn't even need to battle, she just nukes Life Points directly..."
"Feels like Master Diluc is going to lose again..."
As Diluc's Life Points flickered like a dying candle, the crowd grew anxious.
Klee smiled as she explained, "[Explosive Genius - Klee]'s effect! While she's on the field, 'Jumpy Dumpty' does not go into the Deck— it explodes immediately!"
Then, everyone looked at Diluc—left with only 500 Life Points—and believed his defeat was assured.
Fortunately, Klee's [Explosive Genius - Klee] had only 2100 ATK, while Diluc's [Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster] and [Destiny HERO - Dasher] also had 2100 ATK. She couldn't defeat him by battle.
However, Diluc's Deck still contained ten Jumpy Dumpties. If he drew even one… he would lose.
Then Klee hopped excitedly.
"Let's gamble!"
"Link Summon! [Sage of Coldlight]!!!"
"Summoning requirement: two monsters!!!
"[Sage of Coldlight]'s effect—BOTH players draw four cards!!!"
