Boom! Boom! Boom!
The air cracked with the sound of sonic booms.
Duke Sant felt the pressure against his chest as he soared through the sky.
The wind whipped against his face, but he didn't blink. He turned his head for a moment to look back at the ground below.
Behind him, the sight was incredible. His son-in-law, Vined, was charging toward the massive gates.
Vined wasn't alone; a whole army followed his lead, their boots thundering against the earth.
Suddenly, the sky turned dark with thousands of arrows.
The enemy was raining death down from the walls. But Vined didn't even slow down.
With a calm expression, he swung his weapon in a blur of motion.
Every arrow that came near him was smashed into splinters.
He was blocking them all by himself, making it look like child's play.
"Keep pushing, Vined! Don't let them breathe!" Duke Sant shouted, his voice carrying over the roar of the wind.
Vined looked up for a split second and nodded, his eyes burning with focus.
