[A few hours later]
The room settled into a strange kind of tension that wasn't hostile, just heavy with processing. Emma Stone sat upright at the edge of the couch, fingers loosely interlocked, eyes moving from Rosa to Amy to Gina as each of them spoke in turn.
Rosa kept it blunt and honest, explaining boundaries like it was a tactical briefing. Amy followed with structure, outlining communication, rules, and emotional transparency like she was presenting a case file. Gina, of course, leaned back like she was hosting a talk show, throwing in commentary that somehow made everything sound both ridiculous and completely normal at the same time.
Emma Watson sat more relaxed beside them, already past the shock phase, occasionally chiming in.
Ray stayed near the dining table, arms folded, watching quietly. He didn't interrupt. For once, he looked like a man completely out of control of the situation, and he knew it. Every now and then, his eyes flicked toward Emma Stone, trying to read her reaction, but she was good at keeping her thoughts guarded.
The conversation stretched on, shifting from logistics to emotions to the simple reality of sharing space, time, and trust. It wasn't perfect, and no one pretended it would be. That honesty seemed to matter more than anything else in the room.
Emma Stone finally leaned back slightly, exhaling as she ran a hand through her hair. "Wow. That's a lot to take in." He looked toward Ray.
"Told you, it's complicated," Ray replied.
Emma Watson gave a small nod, her tone calm but understanding. "It took me over a month to talk things through and decide."
Gina grinned, tilting her head with a spark in her eyes. "Yeah, but once you get past the whole 'this is socially questionable' part, it's kind of amazing. Doing something that feels so wrong but is actually this fun and right is a whole experience."
Emma Stone let out a slow breath, her gaze drifting across the room again as if she was trying to anchor herself in something real. The quiet stretched for a few seconds, thick but not uncomfortable, just full of thought. 'Do they have threesomes? No, foursome, I guess. And considering they are all together with Ray, he must be doing something right, or this doesn't make any sense. But, dang, it feels so wrong that I want to do it.'
She tapped her fingers lightly against her arm, then gave a small, almost disbelieving shake of her head before letting out a soft laugh.
"This is so wild," she said, looking from Amy to Rosa, then finally landing on Ray. "Like a harem in modern times is just… wow."
She pushed herself up from the couch, smoothing her dress unconsciously as she crossed the short distance toward him. Ray didn't move, but his posture shifted slightly, like he was bracing for whatever she was about to say next. His eyes stayed locked on hers.
Emma stopped right in front of him, close enough that he could feel the warmth coming off her. She tilted her head just a little, studying his face like she was trying to see past all the calm control he carried.
"So," she said slowly, her voice softer now but steady, "let's say I say yes, and in the future things get… intense, and I end up getting pregnant."
Ray didn't hesitate.
"I'll take full responsibility," he said, his tone firm and direct, like it wasn't even a question worth thinking about.
Something in her expression shifted at that. The uncertainty didn't disappear, but it changed shape, like it had found something solid to push against. She rose slightly onto her toes, closed the remaining distance, and kissed him.
It was a soft kiss. It landed somewhere in between, deliberate and certain, like she had just made a decision and wasn't looking back.
Ray's hand came up instinctively, settling at her waist as he returned it without breaking rhythm. The room went quiet again, but this time it felt different—less tension, more acceptance.
Gina was the first to react. She leaned forward with a slow clap, grinning like she had just watched a perfect plot twist unfold. "And just like that, we have a new recruit. Honestly, that was smoother than most reality shows."
Rosa watched them for a second longer before letting out a faint smirk, arms still crossed. "Took you long enough."
Amy didn't say anything right away. She just studied Emma for a moment, then gave a small nod, like she had reached her own conclusion. "We'll figure everything out step by step," she said.
Emma pulled back slightly, her hand still resting lightly against Ray's chest. She looked toward Amy, then Rosa, then Gina and finally at Watson, "Yeah, looking forward to it."
Emma Watson sat back on the couch, looking amused as she watched them kiss. Then, she stood up and walked over to Ray. "Move over, Stone. It's my turn to kiss," she said in a somewhat possessive tone.
Stone moved to the left, giving them space.
Before Ray could respond, Emma Watson jumped straight into his arms, "Catch."
Ray caught her. 'So light.'
She wrapped her legs around his waist. She pressed her body close against his and dove into the kiss with full passion, her tongue sliding eagerly into his mouth the moment their lips met. Ray held her tight with both hands, supporting her butt while he kissed her back just as deeply, their tongues moving together in a heated rhythm that made the air in the room feel even thicker with energy.
Well, considering all the sexual tension and reunion after years, it was bound to happen.
Gina could not resist pulling out her phone right then and snapping a quick picture of the moment with a satisfied smirk on her face. She shook her head slowly. "This is going straight into the group album for sure. You two look way too good together like that."
Rosa shook her head slowly, though the corner of her mouth betrayed her. "Of course she goes all in," she muttered, watching the scene like it confirmed something she already expected.
Amy crossed her arms, her expression caught somewhere between exasperation and reluctant acceptance. She glanced at Gina for half a second. "Please tell me that's not going anywhere public."
Gina didn't even look up from her phone. "Relax, Santiago. This is premium private collection material. Unless someone annoys me later, then we'll renegotiate."
'Look at them go,' Emma Stone let out a quiet laugh, stepping slightly to the side as she watched Watson cling to Ray like she had no intention of letting go anytime soon. "Well," she said under her breath, amused and a little impressed, "that escalated quickly."
After a moment, Watson finally pulled back just enough to breathe, though she stayed close, her arms still loosely looped around Ray's shoulders. She studied his face with a satisfied look, like she had just confirmed a theory.
"Yeah," she said softly, a hint of a grin forming. "Okay. I get it now. The rush is real..." She gave him another quick kiss before pulling back with a smile.
Ray exhaled slowly, one brow lifting as he looked at her, then briefly at the others, like he was recalibrating the entire situation in real time. "You two really didn't coordinate this, did you?"
Rosa answered immediately, deadpan. "Nope."
Gina chimed in without missing a beat. "And honestly, I'm glad you didn't. This is way more entertaining and natural."
Amy shook her head lightly, though there was a small smile breaking through now. "We're definitely going to need clearer scheduling rules after this."
Watson finally slipped back down onto her feet but didn't move far, her hand brushing Ray's arm as she stepped beside Stone. She glanced at her with an amused look. "You were right. Complicated… but kind of worth it."
Stone huffed out a soft laugh, still processing but no longer overwhelmed. "Yeah," she admitted, glancing around the room one more time. "Definitely not what I expected tonight."
Ray ran a hand through his hair, looking at all of them in front of him, the situation fully settled now whether he planned it or not. "Guess dinner's going to be even more interesting than I thought."
Gina leaned back with a satisfied sigh, tucking her phone away. "Oh, it already is. And we haven't even started eating yet."
"Gina!" Amy lightly punched her.
"What? Ohhh," Gina smirked at Amy. "Santiago, you dirty girl... I was talking about food."
