Chapter 36 - Chapter 30

Kawasaki Moto, Roz and a random man named Ublit stood on top of the roof looking out for any terrorists who might disturb this town. It was a fairly modern place with clean air and not much crime, excluding the recent terrorism. The thing that makes the place stick out is the dull yellowish desert sky with the blood moon, which smiles upon the town.

A lady walked up to them in a professional business suit and handed them papers. "We need everyone to sign this." She flips over multiple pages and stops on one. "So sign your names here. Once you sign this, if you die, we're not responsible. Also, if you accidentally kill somebody or damage property, we promise you'll not be responsible. We had the mayor sign it and multiple CEOs of corporations!" She handed them a pen and stood there smiling patiently.

Moto looked over at Roz and then at Ublit, who was already signing the papers extremely fast. Moto and Roz signed too but Moto couldn't help but notice how bad Ublit's cursive was. He waited until the girl left and looked at Ublit. "Hey, did you go to school?" Ublit was taken aback at this.

"What? No! I just didn't learn how to have good handwriting!" Moto looked at him confused.

"You're 53, are you not? A person your age should have learned cursive!" Ublit squinted his eyes in frustration. "Why does it even matter? You think the enemy can only be defeated when you write a college-length essay in cursive?" Moto opened his mouth, ready to speak but instead kept it shut.

"Guys, chillax. Look, let's play a game in the meantime." Roz said Moto and Ublit immediately started to throw complaints, their voices overlapping into nonsensical chaos. "LOOK!" They went quiet. "I brought a game to cure boredom; it's in my backpack inside the building we're on top of. I'll get it and we can play a fun game." They both nodded and he went down to go get it.

Then Moto and Ublit saw smoke shaped like a mushroom over in the distance. They looked at each other and blasted off, every step creating a small hole in the ground. Moto was roughing off of buildings and gliding through the sky, while Ublit was straight up rushing with his power, which blasted people away in his wake.

Ublit spotted a member; he could tell because they were bald in a black outfit stabbing a woman. He immediately placed his hand on the guy's head.

123-Medium brain damage.

The guy got a dent in his forehead and fell down unconscious. Medic staff was already there to carry the lady to the hospital.

"Well, looks like I didn't even need cursive after all, jackass!" Moto was about to say something but realized Ublit had already ran away and he ran to catch up with him. They were pretty close to where the attack was so they most likely ran away. "HEY MOTO! YOU'RE SO FAR BACK! ARE YOU SLOW? WELL, YOU SEARCH RIGHT FOR THEM AND I'LL SEARCH LEFT!" Ublit immediately dashed left; buildings cracked and were destroyed by the mere force of him going by.

As Ublit was speed dashing through buildings, a beam appeared in front of him and blasted him, making him fall down. "Ah, what the hell." He said getting up and dashing back, it seemed like a group of 4 people in black sweaters with chokers. "So you guys must be the terrorists," Ublit said, energized.

"I wouldn't say that. More like the peacemakers here to destroy and rebuild a paradise. After destroying our own souls to feel nothing… and in return we got power." Ublit sweated a bit. "You're bluffing. You know what? Fuck this. I can take you all on! I don't need Roz or that four-eyed freak to win."

"Well, let us help you. We look the same and we are all the same; we all named ourselves one with the same ability so don't try to tell us apart. But it's no use; this victory was promised to us 3000 years ago."

They all charged at them at the same time with surprisingly force but Ublit just smirked and touched all of their chests.

1-223-minor mental damage

2-444-slow death and eradication of memory

3.-666-death and ability removal

4.-129-nothing.

2 and 3 both immediately fell and 1 stopped for a second and continued to assist 4 without even looking at their fallen comrades.

Ublit was slipping with him, taking punches that felt like Earths and gaining severe bruises on his face; at this rate he'll pass out and who knows what they'll do to him. He had no choice.

He hit the ground hard and with a single thunk, they were on a platform moving around constantly. It stopped and then started moving around places. It seemed to be the inside of a fancy hotel.

They still continued attacking, not even looking around and Gublit still fought. Every time Gublit landed a hit, right by the platform, it would show a scene. Like someone walking, then tripping on a banana peel, then at the end it would show cards with numbers with different people on them.

"Man, you guys don't even care for me to explain my ability? Because y'all's defense is trash, I'll explain it myself. Every time I land a good hit on you guys, a scene plays where I have to bet on what will happen. And what I bet on does or does not happen depending on if the card numbers align that are shown at the end.

If I don't get a continuous number, something is taken from me. It goes from my money to my body to my soul, but when I do, I get something in turn depending on who was on the card and how lucky the number is. This can be flexed and twisted into anything!"

He yawned, dodging them. "You guys are boring, so I'll explain even more. So when I don't use this ability, I have an automatic ability called luck. Where my attacks are randomly decided by numbers, how effective they are is based on my intent. In fact, I can even make how people react randomly decided by numbers! But I don't think I'm that lucky! That automatic ability goes away once I activate this ability I call my luck palace. That's all you need to know."

The platform got out of the scene. "56 dollars out of my wallet!" Gublit said as he got a good attack into one of them with blood gushing out but they still continued attacking. They went into another scene where it showed a man running and preparing to jump to the other side. "I BET ON HE'LL FALL AND DIE LIKE A BITCH! MAKE YOUR BETS; I'LL ALLOW IT!" Gublit yelled confidently. They didn't and continued attacking him.

The man did fall and the numbers landed.

4.1 4.1 4.1—The cards showed fused Kawasaki Moto

Everything breaks and they're back at the city and Gublit has grown 4 arms. "Damn, Moto, your 4 arms are strong.

"Too late."

One of them appeared behind him and he had no time to turn to avoid it. His newly grown arms were cut off but then they both got blown away from each other. Looking up, Gublit saw Roz floating in the air. "Gublit, what the hell are you doing? Almost died." "How did you even find me?"

"Moto told me. We found out there are attacks happening at other places so he is saving civilians right now. You're so reckless!" Roz said. Gublit sighed and sat down. "Well, I guess you can handle them, right?" Roz nodded and blasted sharp hair from his fingertips and parts of his hair disappeared. This got one of them down; dead now, he just needed to finish the last one. "Alright, goodbye." Roz hailed down hair packed into a glowing energy beam, which eradicated them.

Pockets in hands, he lazily drifted down and walked to Gublit and patted him on the back. "Let's go eat ice cream after making sure everyone is safe."
