Chapter 252 - Chapter 252: Arcane Gem? No, Reality Gem!

After the artifact team finished strengthening their wills, Gale said, "Let's go! It's time to act."

Mimiron said worriedly, "Gale, why don't you also strengthen your will?"

"No need!"

Gale snapped his fingers, and the arcane gem flashed. Then, all of Gale's equipment transformed.

Azshara's Crown changed from a headband into a crown, with the front of the crown rising high like the spike of a helmet. Its name should also be changed; for now, let's call it Kaldorei Crown.

The branches forming Natural Power gradually turned golden, shimmering with a metallic luster. Gale changed its material, transforming it into a semi-metal, semi-plant form. This way, Natural Power still maintained its natural vitality, but its defensive capabilities and magic amplification effects were greatly enhanced.

It also changed from a half-body armor to a full-body armor, extending into boots, gloves, and a cloak.

The eternal spear also became wider, with inconspicuous small branches appearing on both sides of the spearhead, resembling a trident.

The overall appearance was roughly similar to Yang Jian from the game King, only differing in the style and coloring of the armor.

The artifact team also changed; they each gained a full-body Natural Power armor that had become semi-metallic. Their weapons were also upgraded.

Draksa's Duskblade became sharper, and the energy on it changed from Shadow Power to Arcane.

Guardian's Glory gained many mysterious runes, enhancing its inherent energy and giving it stronger protective capabilities.

The purple crystal on aluneth transformed into three orbs arranged on the staff. Purple lightning flickered between the orbs, and outside the orbs was an Arcane rune disk, emanating a mysterious aura.

Nash's Eye on Glacial Breath transformed into a blue crystal, constantly emitting cold air. As Sethonis swung it, it trailed a long tail, like a comet.

The flowing water emanating from Twilight Flow became more turbulent, yet it was still tightly drawn to the staff's gem.

titan runes also appeared on Truth Guardian, enhancing its defensive capabilities.

Eagle Spear also gleamed with a metallic luster, its material properties likewise changed by Gale into a semi-metallic form. This enhanced its attack power and magic amplification effects.

This change was clearly beyond what the arcane gem could accomplish; perhaps calling it the Reality Gem would be more fitting.

The Titan Guardians looked at Gale in astonishment. Such a change was made with just a snap of his fingers. How could Gale possess such immense power?

Alexstrasza was also profoundly shocked. She had personally witnessed Gale slay Loken. But the strength Gale displayed then was far less than what he showed now. If Gale had displayed such powerful strength at that time, he could have soloed Loken.

The Alliance Army was also greatly shaken. They were all Gale's old subordinates and were very familiar with him.

However, they had never known Gale possessed such abilities.

This was not all. Gale took out the Earth Guardian's Scale and handed it to Hu'en Highmountain.

Then he took out the Soul Gem and embedded it in the crown on his head.

The Soul Gem was instantly activated, absorbing the soul energy dispersed within Ulduar. After all the soul energy was absorbed, the Soul Gem shone again, and from within its radiance, Dubrakan appeared out of thin air.

He glared at Gale, annoyed, "Every time you summon me, it's never for anything good."

Gale smiled and rested the eternal spear on his head, "In my name, from this moment on, you are free!"

Dubrakan felt the shackles on him break and couldn't help but let out a joyful cry. But soon, he looked at Gale suspiciously: "With your personality, how could you let me go so easily?"

Gale: "I'm going to challenge Yogg-Saron. If I lose, I'll surely die, so there's no need to implicate you."

He waved his hand and said, "Hurry and go! Otherwise, I might regret it."

With that, Gale walked straight towards Yogg-Saron's cage.

Draksa and the others immediately followed, descending the stairs. Faceless Ones came to block their way. However, their resistance seemed very weak in front of the artifact team.

Draksa, Hu'en, and Hothman rushed to the front, using the power of their artifact shields to block the Faceless Ones' attacks.

Their artifact weapons could easily slice through the bodies of the Faceless Ones, dispatching one in just a few strikes.

The three mages behind them were even more powerful. Metri, wielding aluneth in one hand and the Eye of Aman'Thul in the other, could eliminate a Faceless One with every spell.

Adal was not to be underestimated either. The tide stone summoned currents of water, and Twilight Flow froze the water, instantly trapping a group of Faceless Ones.

Sethonis, though the weakest in raw strength, possessed the strongest firepower. Dozens of War Golems unleashed a volley, capable of killing at least twenty Faceless Ones, making him the strongest ADC in this team fight.

Gale didn't even need to make a move; his six subordinates were enough to clear out these Faceless Ones.

He couldn't help but marvel that the Forge of Wills truly lived up to its reputation as a planetary-level device, being able to strengthen them so remarkably.

Equipment enhancement was always external, only increasing their offensive capabilities. The enhancement from the Forge of Wills strengthened their inner selves. After their wills were strengthened, they could fight using the most concise methods, which was a substantial improvement.

Will enhancement was equivalent to leveling them up to max, and equipment enhancement was like them having six-slot gear. While six-slot gear was powerful, without a level advantage, it couldn't unleash such strong combat power.

Soon, the team reached the entrance of the underground palace.

Just as Gale was about to enter the underground palace, Dubrakan caught up from behind. He ran in front of Gale and said, feigning nonchalance, "You must have some conspiracy; I won't fall for it!"

"Why did you follow me?" Gale asked, exasperated.

This guy was really interesting; he had been clamoring to be free, but now that he was free, he wouldn't leave.

Dubrakan twitched his lips, becoming serious: "You want to be a hero; do you expect me to be a deserter? Let me tell you, that's impossible!"

Gale warned, "Are you really going to follow me? You'll die if you come along."

Dubrakan lay down in front of him, "What's with all the talk? If I'm not afraid, what are you afraid of?"

Gale shook his head helplessly and sighed, "So be it!"

Saying that, he swung himself onto Dubrakan's back. Dubrakan stood up, carrying him towards the underground palace.

Upon entering the underground palace, an infinite Shadow Power surged towards everyone. The soul-deep corruption made Dubrakan's limbs weak, and he walked with trembling steps.

"It's not too late to regret it now!" Gale teased.

Although Dubrakan was tempted to retreat, he continued to walk deeper into the underground palace.

Seeing this, Gale couldn't help but smile. At this moment, someone was willing to accompany him to his death, and he was very happy about it.
