They walked toward the exit.
Then
Rowan stopped.
"You go ahead," he said. "I'll catch up."
Neville looked at him, then nodded.
"Alright."
He walked out.
The moment he left
Rowan's expression changed.
He walked toward the window and opened it.
His eyes narrowed as he looked outside.
What is that thing doing here?
Without hesitation
He jumped out.
He landed smoothly on the ground below.
A small figure stood there.
A creature.
It walked toward him slowly.
Rowan looked down at it, his gaze sharp.
"Tell me," he said coldly, "what are you doing here?"
His voice lowered.
"You're not worried someone might see you?"
The creature stopped in front of him.
"Master no. I didn't sense anyone nearby," Fenrir said.
Rowan nodded slightly.
"Good. Then tell me what brings you here?"
Fenrir lifted her head slightly.
"Master have you forgotten?" she said. "You promised to grant me a wish during the last incident."
Rowan raised a brow.
"Did I?"
He sighed lightly.
