One, Bai Yue was kidnapped by a Paragon.
Two, Bai Yue herself was a Paragon.
After all, her eye abilities were unseen and unnatural. They were something he had never seen on anyone else but himself.
His fate insight that allowed him to see the threads of fate was similar. But that was actually part of his Fateless One physique. Bai Yue's power to perceive fate perhaps surpassed even his own, Azathoth's, or Tian Yuan's.
This was why he leaned more towards the second possibility.
But then there was also a third possibility.
Maybe the World Tree mistook the ascendancy power, and there were races like the Chaos Race or the Mecha Race with fate-related abilities.
Out of curiosity, he decided to ask the World Tree.
"Hm? A race with fate-related powers?"
