Tang Hao's Despair

A few minutes later, enduring the intense pain that wracked his entire body, Tang Hao struggled to his feet. He took a deep breath and slowly walked towards the waterfall ahead.

As he was about to approach the rushing water, he suddenly pushed off with his foot, soaring into the air, flying directly toward the stone cave hidden behind the waterfall.

Boom—

The waterfall's flow was instantly stirred up by Tang Hao, and water droplets rained down. His figure flashed through the curtain of water, disappearing directly behind the waterfall.

After entering the cave, Tang Hao's steps became hurried and heavy, and his breathing grew erratic ; he looked anxious and restless. A moment later, he finally arrived inside the stone chamber at the deepest part of the cave.

When he raised his head and looked at the familiar small mound in the center of the chamber, the glimmer of expectation and hope in his eyes was instantly replaced by endless despair.

The small mound was completely empty.

"Ah Yin? Where is my Ah Yin?" Tang Hao's face changed dramatically at the sight, his eyes revealing unspeakable fear and panic. His body trembled uncontrollably as he exclaimed in shock.

The next second, a sharp glint flashed in Tang Hao's eyes; he seemed to remember something. His figure flickered, and he quickly arrived in front of a nearby stone wall. He turned his hand and struck down heavily with his palm.

Boom—

With a deafening roar, the entire stone wall vibrated violently. Immediately after, a dark box fell from above, landing steadily in front of Tang Hao.

Without the slightest hesitation, Tang Hao immediately squatted down, his hands trembling as he opened the box. However, when he saw that the box was empty, his face instantly changed dramatically again.

"Where is the one hundred thousand year Spirit Bone Ah Yin left behind?" Tang Hao's voice was low and hoarse. At this moment, his eyes were bloodshot, his entire body trembled, and he was gasping for breath like an ox, as if he had fallen into a state of madness.

"Rebellious son, oh, rebellious son! I didn't expect you would not only secretly take away the Seed of Life your mother left behind, but you even colluded with people from Spirit Hall to plot for your mother's Spirit Bone!"

Given Tang Hao's current intelligence, he knew that the only people who knew about these events back then were him, Spirit Hall, and those old fellows from the Clear Sky Sect. The Clear Sky Sect had long since sealed its gates.

He knew that Tang Xiao's character made it impossible for him to secretly do such a thing. That left only himself and Spirit Hall as the only people who knew about this matter. Since he hadn't taken it, the one who did this could only be Spirit Hall.

Now, his eldest son's Spirit, the Blue Silver Grass, had already awakened into the Blue Silver Emperor ahead of time, and judging by his tone, his eldest son seemed to know other things.

There was only one possibility: his eldest son had secretly colluded with people from Spirit Hall, working together to plot for the one hundred thousand year Spirit Bone Ah Yin left behind.

"Rebellious son, oh, rebellious son, I truly didn't expect that you would secretly collude with Spirit Hall!" The emotions of anger and despair completely erupted at this moment. Tang Hao was so furious that he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his body trembling violently, almost falling down again. He gritted his teeth and said, "I told you long ago, if you dare to join Spirit Hall, I will personally cleanse the Tang Clan!"

Staggering a few steps in anger, his heart was also filled with doubt.

"It's just, how did this beast find this place?" he muttered. "Did the people from Spirit Hall tell him about that matter? Did he sense this place through his Blue Silver Grass Spirit? After all, a mother and child are connected. Ah Yin was always here before."

Immediately after, Tang Hao suddenly turned around, as if driven by some strong emotion, and knelt down with a thud before the small mound where Ah Yin had once been planted.

"Ah Yin, I'm sorry, I couldn't even let you rest in peace after you died..." His body trembled slightly, his head bowed, his hands clenched into fists. Anger and self-reproach intertwined, his voice hoarse and heavy.

"Don't worry, one day, I will personally put an end to this rebellious son who colluded with Spirit Hall. He... he actually dared to collude with Spirit Hall, that's simply courting death!"

Immediately after, Tang Hao's voice became low again, and he began to talk to himself.

"Oh, right, Ah Yin, I have good news to tell you ... Our child, Tang San, possesses the rare twin spirits, and also innate full Spirit Power. Once he grows up, he will surely be able to destroy Spirit Hall and avenge you."

"Most importantly, Little San also has a transformed one hundred thousand year Spirit Beast by his side, just like us back then ... With her presence, Little San will surely be able to reach the peak of the continent in the future!"

As he finished speaking, Tang Hao slowly stood up, a glimmer of light flashing in his eyes. In just a moment, it was as if he had forgotten all his regrets and guilt.

However, just as he stood firm, a sudden burst of purple Qi abruptly spread from his chest. This purple Qi was the potent venom of Bibi Dong's Death Spider Emperor; Tang Hao had been poisoned months ago, but he had always suppressed the spread of the toxin with his powerful Spirit Power.

But now, due to the influence of Tang Chen's fifth Spirit Ability, Fate's Lament, the potent venom and his old internal injuries seemed to be no longer suppressible.

"Hiss—"

Unable to help but gasp sharply, Tang Hao's body trembled violently. He looked down at the spreading purple Qi on his chest and angrily said, "Bibi Dong, Spirit Hall, one day, I will make you repay a hundredfold what you owe me!"

Immediately after, fresh red blood once again sprayed from his mouth. This was followed by a sensation of dizziness; Tang Hao's vision began to blur, the scene before his eyes started to twist, as if the entire world began to shake. He tried to stay conscious, but the awareness in his mind became increasingly blurry.

The stone walls, the mound, the light in his field of vision—everything seemed to turn into illusory images, overlapping and becoming indistinct.

Suddenly, a blue-golden figure flashed before Tang Hao's eyes ; it was Ah Yin. Upon seeing Ah Yin's figure, his heart instantly accelerated. With almost no hesitation, his body uncontrollably walked towards that figure, his steps hurried and urgent.

However, just as Tang Hao was about to approach, this blue-golden figure suddenly changed. It was instantly enveloped by a blood-red light, the originally warm and familiar blue-golden color disappearing without a trace.

Immediately, Tang Hao's face turned pale. He suddenly retreated a few steps, his feet unsteady, almost falling to the ground.

"Brother Hao, what's wrong? I'm Ah Yin, why are you so afraid of me? Don't you want to see me? Or... do you not wish for me to be alive?" The blood-red figure seemed to notice his panic and suddenly spoke, her voice carrying a hint of resentment and confusion.

"No... you're not Ah Yin! My Ah Yin died long ago!" Hearing this, Tang Hao's heart clenched in fear, and he desperately shook his head.
