Seeing their attack fail, they immediately changed tactics. With a wave of their hands, they called their turtle shells back. The rapidly spinning shells changed direction and flew straight at the charging Xiao Wu and Zhuqing.
"Xiao Wu! Zhuqing! Be careful!" Huo Feng shouted a warning.
He knew the two Black Tortoise Turtle Spirit Masters hadn't used their third Spirit Ability yet. As masters of a powerful defensive Spirit, they must have a way to protect themselves even after throwing their shells.
Just as Huo Feng predicted, the two Spirit Masters' expressions turned serious. A purple light flashed on both of them at the same time. They were activating a thousand-year Spirit Ability.
Xiao Wu heard Huo Feng's warning, but she was already in the air. She couldn't stop her forward charge. At this critical moment, she showed how fast she could adapt.

Her first and second spirit rings lit up together. In the next instant, her eyes became incredibly alluring. They glowed with a strong red light as she looked at the two brothers.
It was her second Spirit Ability: Charm.
This ability could put an opponent in a stiff, stunned state. The duration of the stun depended on the difference in mental force between her and her target. If the gap was too big, the ability would backlash, just like when she had tried to use it on Zhao Wuji.

In the air, the flying pieces came back together. They reformed into the complete turtle shells that once again covered the backs of the two Spirit Masters. Their attack had successfully injured Xiao Wu.
At the same time, Zhu Zhuqing, who was attacking from the other side, couldn't find a moment to strike through the storm of shell pieces. With Xiao Wu injured, Zhuqing couldn't stay there alone, so she had to retreat.
The Shi brothers hadn't originally planned to use their third Spirit Ability. After all, Teacher Qin Ming had warned them not to seriously injure or kill any opponents. But seeing their captain, Yu Tianheng, get so badly hurt had made them furious. They didn't show it, but they were filled with anger. This was why they had decided to use their all-out attack.

Even though the other Shrek members were being attacked, none of them looked worried. They all understood that Huo Feng's strength was not something to be anxious about. The Royal Fight Team, however, was clearly confused by their calm reaction.
It was Yu Tianheng who attacked first. He no longer cared that his spirit power was dangerously low. He forced himself to use his Wrath of Thunder ability, pushing his body to its limit. His huge, scaled dragon arm lifted. With a dragon's roar, he once again unleashed his Thunderbolt ability.
This time, he used the very last of his spirit power to control the attack, blasting it toward Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing to keep them from helping their captain.
