That night, this thing was just all over me. He took me back to our bedroom. I did not even tell him about the book or anything. I don't want to keep his hopes high. If I tell him, then he will think we've already found a solution to his answer. And I'm kind of scared that the plan will not work. So I just kept it to myself.
"Are you alright, Gabrielle?" he asked me for the hundredth time, and I nodded my head.
"I'm very much… I'm very much… I'm very much okay, gorgeous monster. You seem to be awkwardly very concerned about me," I said, waving my hair and changing into my nightgown, and then he scoffed.
"Moments ago you were shivering like a leaf because you killed your first person."
"Yes, it's a big deal. I killed a wolf and I don't even know how I did that." I stared at my hands and then Lucien walked over to me and placed my hands on his bare chest.
