Tamara Pov.....
"It's a bad news!"
Unknown's voice carried uncertainty and anxiety.
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow of confusion.
"What do you mean?"
My voice sharp, suddenly turning cold. My eyes narrowed, trying very well to figure out the bad news Unknown could be referring to.
"During the last phase of the mission, I encountered some warrior Angels, about fifteen of them. I found out that they were sent to assassinate the witch and the two reborn versions of the Angel of war. Although they were able to get to the witch and one of the two human babies, but for now, they are already taken care of".
Hearing Unknown's words, my eyes narrowed even further, almost turning into slits.
I clenched my fists as anger and rage seemed to overwhelm me.
I immediately got on my feet, the rage actually showing on my facial expressions.
Closing my eyes for a moment, I tried to bring down my rising anger.
"Did they get to the witch and the reborn versions of the Angel of war?"
I asked, now standing directly in front of Unknown.
Unknown shook his head, trying to avoid my piercing gaze.
"No they didn't". Unknown murmured in a low voice in which I clearly heard because of my enhanced hearing. "I killed ten warrior Angels while the rest five were killed by the witch".
I raised a questioning eyebrow hearing him say something about the witch killing five warrior Angels.
Could the witch be that strong and powerful,....to kill five warrior Angels all in one go?
That's certainly not possible.
Warrior Angels are one of the most powerful species of Angels.
A mortal certainly would have a hard time killing one, not to talk of killing five warrior Angels.
Unknown rolled his eyes sarcastically at my reaction and facial expression.
"She killed them while they were in mortal form".
Unknown said.
"Oh! That's why".
I murmured in sudden realization. Especially since it was a well known fact that Angels were massively weaker while in mortal form. That's why Angels don't like assuming mortal form but like being in their real form.
Angels only assume mortal form only when it's importantly necessary.
I turned around and suddenly started pacing about.
My purple wings, huge and majestic, humming in response to my spiralling emotions.
Unknown inevitably stared at me, watching as I paced about after hearing the bad news he delivered.
After two minutes of pacing about, my mind thinking very far, I turned abruptly to Unknown, staring at him with a determined look.
Unknown stared back at me, waiting to hear me speak.
"What else were you able to get from your encounter with the warrior Angels?"
Unknown sighed.
"It may seem, the Angel of destruction already found out of your plans to bring back the Angel of war. That's probably the reason he sent those warrior Angels to disrupt your plans. However, these warrior Angels attacked the witch and the reborn baby while in mortal form, allowing the witch to have an advantage and escape".
I frowned and shook my head.
My thoughts momentarily spiralling out of control.
Once again, I started pacing about, fidgeting with my fingers, while trying to figure out a way to find a solution to the arising problem.
Unknown kept on staring at me, watching as I paced about with my purple wings behind me.
"Now that the Angel of destruction already knows about what you are doing and has already attempted to disrupt it, what do you think he's going to do next?"
Unknown suddenly asked, making me halt in my movement. I quickly turned to him, only to see an expressionless look on his face.
"I don't really know..... But if my guess is right, he's going to come down to the human world and kill the reborn versions of the Angel of war, by himself. Especially since his first attempt failed. I think he's not going to risk another attempt by sending warrior Angels again, he's surely going to do it by himself".
Unknown, upon hearing this, widened his eyes in anxiety.
"Then what are we going to do?" Unknown asked, his voice rising as he spoke. The anxiousness obviously present in his tone. "We certainly can't allow him to kill the reborn versions of the Angel of war. It's going to compromise everything. All would be lost if that happens. There's surely not going to be another way to get the Angel of war reborn again".
I breathed out in frustration.
The possibility of all my plans going down the drain coming to me in a reality.
Unknown is right.
All would be lost if the Angel of destruction kills the two human babies. And I'm sure, he's going to destroy the souls of the Angel of war after killing the two reborn versions of the Angel of war.
I possibly can't let that happen.
However, it will be quite hard to stop the Angel of destruction from achieving his goals, of once again, putting an end to the Angel of war completely.
I will have to find a way to stop the Angel of destruction from coming to the human world and killing the reborn versions of the Angel of war.
If the reborn versions of the Angel of war, actually survive, there's a possible way of bringing back the Angel of war.
The Angel of war being reborn depends on them living and I can't allow the Angel of destruction kill them now that he has found out about my plans.
I'll do everything within my power to stop the Angel of destruction from coming to the human world.
"Unknown....are you sure of everything you are telling me?"
I asked, wanting to confirm if everything he said was actually true and not false alarm. The Angel of destruction finding out about my plans, is a very critical matter.
"Yes, my Mistress. I am certain of everything I just told you".
Unknown said with a small nod.
"Then I'll have to come up with a plan to stop the Angel of destruction from coming to the human world".
"But how will you do that, Mistress?"
Unknown asked, staring at me with worried eyes.
I smirked at his worried look. A demon King actually acting worried.
"Don't worry, there's nothing a little thinking can't do".
I said, still wearing that smirk.
___
Fifteen minutes of thinking.....
"I think I've got an idea". I spoke after fifteen minutes of thinking of a way to get a solution.
Unknown turned to me, a look of hope clouding his face as relief washed away his worries.
Although, it warmed my heart that he was actually putting his whole feelings and effort into this mission of bringing back the Angel of war.
"Thank goodness!" He breathed out a sigh of relief. "Mistress, what's the idea?"
I smiled....
"You may not really support my idea but I think it's the only option we've got. Also, we must do this to protect the reborn versions of the Angel of war".
"Mistress, what must we do?"
Unknown asked, conjuring me to spill the beans.
I smirked hearing his question.
"It's kind of a hard decision but I have to do it".
"Mistress, are you trying to sacrifice yourself or something, by confronting the Angel of destruction?"
Unknown asked, worry already building up in him. I could see that from his facial expression.
I shook my head sideways indicating a 'no'.
"I'm not going to confront the Angel of destruction in order to stop him from coming to the human world". I said, as a smirk started appearing on my face. "But instead..... I'm going to lock the gate alternating between the human world and the City of Angels, therefore, Angels wouldn't be able to come to the human world".
Unknown kept quiet for a while, seemingly after hearing my idea. He stared blankly at me, while contemplating on my idea.
"But that's crazy".
I rolled my eyes at his words.
"Unknown, it's the only option we've got. If we close the gate alternating between the human world and the City of Angels, then the Angel of destruction would have no way to come down to the human world and kill the reborn versions of the Angel of war".
Unknown shook his head stubbornly, even after hearing my explanation.
"But Mistress, if we close the gate alternating the human world and the City of Angels, it may turn the city of Angels into utter panic and Angels wouldn't be able to access portals to the human world".
Unknown said, trying to reason with me.
"However, that's the only way of stopping the Angel of destruction from coming into the human world and killing the reborn versions of the Angel of war".
I said with a straight face.
"Your action would not just only affect the Angel of destruction but also the other Angels in the City of Angels as they wouldn't be able to come to the human world as well". Unknown said, disagreeing vehemently to my idea. "We should also not forget that Angels already in the human world wouldn't have the ability to return to the city of Angels and would therefore roam the human world aimlessly. This action would surely affect them".
I sighed in frustration as I rubbed my temple. "I know Unknown, but this is the only way we can safeguard the lives of the two reborn versions of the Angel of war".
I took a breath in as I seemingly sat down back again, on the chair close to the window, in which I was sitting a while ago.
I crossed my legs, taking an elegant and graceful position.
Unknown sighed as he tore his gaze from me, while pretending to look at somewhere else.
"So what's the next step? Are you taking my idea or not?"
I asked Unknown once again, while sitting.
Unknown looked at me, a reluctant look on his face.
He shrugged, trying to look less concerned but I saw through it.
"There's nothing I can do, right?" Unknown said, making it look like a question. "Since you say it's the only option then I'll support you. Besides, we must not allow the Angel of destruction to achieve his goals and if closing The Gate is the only option, then we'll do it".
I smiled hearing his words, especially Knowing that he agreed with my idea.
"Then let's close a gate!!"

.
Was it a good idea for Tamara to close the gate?
Is closing the gate between the human world and the city of Angels actually the right option, despite it's consequences?
