Chapter 171: A Visit to Tokyo Jujutsu High

"Principal, something's happened."

A support supervisor burst into Gojo Satoru's office, his face filled with urgency.

"What is it?" Gojo asked calmly, setting aside the book in his hands—On How to Get Along with Aliens.

"Take a breath and explain."

"Just now, we received an emergency report. During the first-years' mission, a special-grade cursed energy fluctuation was detected—along with a large number of cursed spirits."

Gojo straightened slightly.

"Multiple special-grade cursed spirits?"

"No," the supervisor shook his head quickly.

"It seems there's only one."

"In that case, with their strength, a single special-grade curse shouldn't be a problem," Gojo replied casually, picking the book back up.

"No need to dispatch reinforcements."

Special-grade cursed spirits had become almost routine over the past few years—nothing worth making a fuss over.

"No—no, that's not it!" the supervisor said hastily.

"The report came from Urata. The special-grade presence doesn't appear to be a cursed spirit."

Gojo paused.

"It's a sorcerer. A special-grade curse user. And it looks like multiple curse users are involved."

"…A special-grade curse user?"

Gojo frowned slightly.

"So someone among curse users has reached special-grade level now?"

If that was true, then this situation was far more serious. Curse users didn't gather in groups unless they were planning something big.

"And they chose a mission involving first-years…"

Gojo slowly rose to his feet.

"These rats crawling out of the shadows—don't tell me this is about the Simurian aliens."

Targeting aliens now? That took guts.

"Are there any special-grade sorcerers currently on campus?" Gojo asked.

"Report, Principal. Fushiguro Megumi and Itadori Yuji are both handling two separate special-grade curse incidents. Neither is at the school."

"I see."

Gojo smiled faintly.

"Then I suppose I'll go take a look myself."

"Let's see when a special-grade curse user managed to crawl out of hiding."

Gojo Satoru suddenly felt a spark of interest.

It had been a long time since he'd properly stretched his muscles—this was a perfect excuse to go out and move around.

"Send me the coordinates."

"Yes, Principal!"

The support supervisor immediately transmitted the mission location of Zenin Kaon and the others to Gojo.

Just as Gojo prepared to teleport, another figure entered the office.

"Principal Gojo, the High Priest and the leader of the Simurian aliens have arrived. They wish to meet you. They say they'd like to tour the place where Earth trains its jujutsu sorcerers."

"Hahaha… talk about timing."

A strange glint flashed through Gojo's eyes.

So those curse users weren't bold enough to act alone after all—someone was backing them.

"Go to the Headquarters and find Yuta Okkotsu. Have him receive them for now. I'll be back in five minutes."

"Understood, Principal."

Meanwhile.

Zenin Kaon and the others were still locked in combat with the curse users.

"New Shadow Style: Simple Domain!"

A blade tore through the air, carrying terrifying cursed energy as it slashed toward "Geto Suguru."

Snap!

In the next instant, a trash-grade cursed spirit appeared in front of "Geto" and was split cleanly in half—yet he himself remained completely unharmed.

"I already told you," "Geto" said calmly,

"You're strong—but you're still too young. If you want to defeat me, go train for a few more years."

He casually waved his hand, and dense swarms of cursed spirits poured forth once more, seemingly endless.

Seeing this, Okkotsu Kaguya quickly retreated.

Gojo Kamui stepped forward instead, a terrifying blue sphere of power shredding the approaching cursed spirits to pieces.

He clenched his fist and charged straight at "Geto," attempting close combat.

Bang!

"Geto" casually shifted his body, dodging the punch, then formed a knife-hand and struck toward Kamui's neck—only to be stopped by an invisible barrier.

"So this is the Limitless," he remarked.

"Impressive."

Countless serpent-like cursed spirits surged forward, wrapping around Kamui's body and flinging him away.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The serpents exploded one after another, purple fluid spraying everywhere.

Kamui's expression darkened.

Whether it was technique or hand-to-hand combat, this opponent was undeniably powerful.

If his judgment was correct, this man truly possessed special-grade sorcerer-level strength.

What exactly was this person's relationship with his father?

"This is hopeless…"

Kaon had recovered a fair amount of cursed energy. She summoned the black-and-white Divine Dogs and reinforced them with Imaginary Mass, yet all she could do was clear out lesser cursed spirits—she couldn't even touch the real enemy.

"How can he summon so many cursed spirits?!"

"This technique is just cheating!"

Kaon was getting heated.

Even when she pushed her technique to its limits, she could only summon ten different allies—yet this guy seemed capable of summoning an infinite army.

How were they supposed to win this?

"This is all you've got?" "Geto" sneered.

"I haven't even used special-grade cursed spirits yet. You can't handle even this trash?"

He smiled mockingly.

"Still, for a bunch of brats who haven't even grown all their hair yet, you're already pretty impressive."

The taunting clearly irritated all three of them.

Gojo Kamui stepped forward, raised one hand like a gun, and aimed at "Geto."

"Then try this."

"Reversed Technique—"

Cursed energy surged.

A dense, dark-red energy sphere began forming at Kamui's fingertip.

Okkotsu Kaguya's eyes widened.

"Kamui—don't tell me you're—?!"

"Red!"

"Pfft—"

The red energy ball fizzled out like a leaking balloon and vanished.

"…."

An awkward silence fell over the battlefield.

Everyone stared at Kamui, who was still holding his pose, as if asking what exactly he was trying to do.

"…It failed," Kamui said calmly, lowering his hand.

Looks like mastering Reverse Cursed Technique was still a bit too early.

"I thought you were about to pull off some big move," Kaon couldn't help but mutter.

"Kamui, Reverse Cursed Technique isn't something you master easily," Kaguya said gently.

"Even the principal and my father only grasped it at sixteen or seventeen. We're only fifteen—there's no need to rush."

"Yeah… I got ahead of myself," Kamui admitted.

"I really thought I'd pull it off this time."

Kaon looked confused.

"Wait—what's Reverse Cursed Technique? Techniques can be reversed?"

She clearly had no idea what that even meant.

"Reverse—"

BOOM!!

Before Kaguya could explain, an overwhelmingly powerful aura suddenly erupted from deep within the mountain, making all of them shudder.

A towering pillar of cursed energy shot straight into the sky.

"That's… Ria?"

Kaon felt a familiar sensation from that terrifying presence—it resembled the aura Ria gave off when she once used her ability.

"She's over there!"

"We have to save her!"

Without hesitation, Kaon urged the others and prepared to rush toward the source.

But "Geto's" figure appeared once more, blocking their path.

"Looks like it's already begun," he said calmly.

"You won't be going over there to interfere."

Behind him, a massive vortex formed as countless cursed spirits were drawn into it.

The sheer pressure of the cursed energy pinned the three of them in place, preventing them from taking even a single step forward.
