This was dangerous.
Even with all his methods, Emiya might not be able to truly kill Heracles.
But in that moment, a thought clicked into place.
He didn't need to kill Heracles.
He just needed to remove him from the battlefield.
Taking advantage of the brief window before Heracles resurrected, Emiya opened a gate to the South Pole.
He grabbed what remained of Heracles, threw it through the gate, and closed it immediately.
That was enough.
Even if Heracles revived, there was no way he could return from the South Pole anytime soon.
Unless Illya woke up and used her Command Seals to forcibly summon him back.
But Illya was unconscious.
So for now, Heracles was gone.
Rin Tohsaka walked over, curiosity written all over her face.
"Where did you throw that guy?"
"The South Pole," Emiya replied.
Rin froze for a moment, then gave a helpless smile.
"That's... pretty far."
"I guess."
She then looked at the unconscious Illya.
"And what about her?"
Emiya lifted Illya with his psychic power, letting her float beside him.
"I'll strip her Command Seals when we get back."
"Aren't you going to kill her?" Red Archer asked as he walked over.
Emiya looked at him with a half-smile.
"Could you do it?"
Red Archer: ...
Of course he couldn't.
No matter what, she was still his sister.
He could be ruthless toward Emiya Shirou.
But not toward Illya.
With his own battle finished, Emiya finally had time to observe the other side.
Medea and Cu Chulainn versus Gilgamesh.
And Artoria stood nearby, sword lowered but eyes locked on him.
Just her presence alone was exerting pressure.
There was a saying.
A serious Gilgamesh does not lose.
But the problem was-
Gilgamesh wasn't serious.
Even facing Medea, Cu Chulainn, and Artoria together, he still wasn't serious.
He hadn't used his Clairvoyance.
He hadn't used Enuma Elish.
Emiya genuinely didn't understand.
Was it arrogance?
Because he was Gilgamesh?
The oldest Heroic Spirit?
A Grand Servant candidate?
Did he not remember that in the Fifth Holy Grail War, he died the most miserable deaths?
In the Saber route, Artoria killed him.
In Rin's route, Emiya Shirou killed him after cutting off his arm.
Before dying, he even left behind that famous line-
"I have to admit, you're stronger now."
In the Sakura route, he turned into the friendly golden neighbor who delivered bento boxes.
So why wasn't he serious?
Was it because this was only an avatar, not his main body?
If that was the case-
Emiya turned to Red Archer.
"Prepare your Reality Marble. Pull everyone inside. We're taking down Gilgamesh today."
Red Archer didn't move.
Instead, he looked at Rin Tohsaka.
She was his Master.
"You can use a Reality Marble?" Rin blurted out in shock. "Aren't you an Archer?"
A Reality Marble was Greater Magecraft, bordering on true magic.
Even Rin couldn't use one.
Yet an Archer could?
If he were a Caster, she could accept it.
But an Archer?
Rin felt the world was actively targeting her.
Red Archer gave a bitter smile.
"Is now really the time to worry about that?"
Emiya couldn't help adding, "Your priorities are strange. What matters is beating Gilgamesh. Hurry up and order your Servant."
Rin inhaled and nodded.
"Archer. Do it."
With the command given, Red Archer closed his eyes and began chanting.
Magic power steamed from his body.
The landscape within his heart began to erode reality.
In an instant, the world changed.
The dark night sky turned crimson.
Massive rotating gears hung in the distant void.
The barren land was filled with swords.
One-handed swords.
Two-handed swords.
Long swords.
Short swords.
Straight blades.
Cross-guard swords.
Knight swords.
Single-edged swords.
This was his Reality Marble.
Unlimited Blade Works.
The moment it deployed, Emiya, Rin, Artoria, Medea, Cu Chulainn, and Gilgamesh were all dragged inside.
The sudden shift stunned everyone.
The battle paused for a heartbeat.
Emiya's voice came immediately.
"Don't panic. This is Red Archer's Reality Marble."
Gilgamesh, however, sneered.
"What a laughable Reality Marble."
He saw countless weapons.
Some of them even existed in his Gate of Babylon.
Which meant only one thing.
Imitations.
Fakes.
That alone was enough to irritate him.
Gilgamesh raised his hand.
From the Gate of Babylon, a strange weapon emerged.
Emiya recognized it instantly.
Enuma Elish.
"Mongrels," Gilgamesh said coldly. "You've finally angered me. I'll send you off with my strongest weapon."
He raised Enuma Elish.
Magic surged.
The wind pressure alone distorted space.
"Artoria," Emiya said without hesitation. "Release your Noble Phantasm."
Artoria raised the Sword of Promised Victory.
Light converged from every direction, wrapping around the blade.
Gilgamesh barely spared her a glance.
In his mind, Enuma Elish was absolute.
Medea fired countless magic bullets, but they shattered before reaching him, torn apart by the wind pressure.
She was no match for this version of Gilgamesh.
Cu Chulainn was about to activate his Noble Phantasm-
"Wait," Emiya said. "Cu Chulainn."
Cu Chulainn clicked his tongue.
He understood.
Artoria was already releasing her Noble Phantasm.
If he joined in, the burden on his Master would be too much.
Even with Magic Stones, absorption took time.
Emiya turned to Red Archer.
"Project the Sword of Promised Victory for me."
Red Archer looked at Rin.
Rin nodded.
A projected Sword of Promised Victory appeared, and Red Archer handed it to Emiya.
By then, Gilgamesh had finished charging.
"Open the treasury. In this judgment, I will tear the world apart."
"Enuma Elish. Star of Creation that Split Heaven and Earth."
A beam of destruction roared forth.
At the same time-
"Excalibur!"
Artoria's beam surged out, golden and overwhelming.
The two beams collided.
Gold and crimson slammed together.
The Reality Marble trembled violently.
Shockwaves exploded outward.
Countless swords were blown away.
"Medea!" Emiya roared. "Help me!"
Medea flew to his side and clasped his hands.
Emiya gripped the projected Holy Sword.
"Excalibur!"
Though weaker than the original, it was still a Noble Phantasm.
And more importantly-
It was the same sword.
The same light.
Emiya's beam merged seamlessly with Artoria's.
Together, they began to suppress Enuma Elish.
Gilgamesh's expression finally changed.
Pressure crashed down on him.
"Mongrels!!"
He poured in more power.
The crimson beam intensified, slowly pushing back the golden light.
The ground shattered.
The sky trembled.
The Reality Marble teetered on collapse.
Then-
"Excalibur!"
Red Archer unleashed it as well.
Another projected Sword of Promised Victory.
One original.
Two projections.
Three beams of light merged into one.
The combined force overwhelmed Enuma Elish instantly.
The golden beam tore through Gilgamesh's attack.
Faster than sound.
Faster than thought.
It pierced straight through his body.
Half of him vanished.
One arm.
One leg.
That was all that remained.
Gilgamesh looked at them with crimson eyes.
There was no anger.
Only a king's arrogance.
"For a group of mongrels... you've done well. I'll acknowledge your victory this time."
"But next time, I won't be so lenient."
With that, his body broke apart into countless points of light and faded away.
In the Fifth Holy Grail War-
Because of Emiya's interference-
The first Servant eliminated was the most ancient King of Heroes.
Gilgamesh.
Red Archer's eyes flickered.
He looked at Emiya, Artoria, Medea, and the others.
Originally, he had intended to wipe them out.
Then he noticed Cu Chulainn.
Watching him.
Like a predator.
Red Archer smiled faintly.
And abandoned the idea.
With a fully healthy Cu Chulainn present-
Eliminating Emiya's group wasn't guaranteed anymore.
