I know I did a poll about whether we should continue the story of Vikram and the executioners, and I really wanted to continue it... but, unfortunately, I won't be able to because when I woke up, my writing partner was gone. He just left, without a word or a note. I've sent him tons of messages, but he doesn't reply or even read them.
I used to be a freelance writer; I could write just as well without help. But everything changed when I met him. And with him, my writing, my narrative, and everything else has improved.
I contributed my ideas, narrated what I could, and he took care of the setting, the atmosphere, the voices, the tones, and everything else with incredible professionalism. Something I came to appreciate a lot, not in terms of feelings, but for his work, for how he manages to express himself better through a character I'm creating.
In short, I won't be able to continue the story as it is. You'll see small fragments, of course; the story will continue, but the narrative will change again. I'll narrate it, but it won't be like before.
I just hope my partner comes back.
