"Luffy, don't worry. Even if you lose a limb…" Jack said suddenly.
"Huh? Why?" everyone asked at once, curiosity written all over their faces.
"Because my new ability can regenerate body parts," Jack explained casually. "As long as the person isn't dead, I can restore them as good as new."
"Wait.... WHAT?!" Chopper eyes widened in shock. "But… but I'm the doctor!"
Jack chuckled and soon the others followed too, laughing at Chopper panicked expression.
"Chopper," Jack said, activating his golden sword for emphasis, "I'm a swordsman too but Zoro over there is also a swordsman. Does that mean if I use a sword, he can't be one anymore?"
"Ergh… no…" Chopper admitted, his ears drooping.
"Exactly," Jack said with a smile. "My ability doesn't replace you, it just supports you. I'm like… backup."
"Really…?" Chopper asked, his eyes starting to sparkle again.
"Of course!" Luffy grinned widely. "You're our doctor, Chopper! No one can replace you!"
"Yeah. Don't get it twisted. You're the only one we trust to keep us alive," Zoro crossed his arms and smirked.
"Tch. Even if that idiot can regrow limbs," Sanji added while pointing to Jack, "it doesn't mean he understands the human body like you do. You're still the best doctor on this ship."
"A doctor role isn't just about healing wounds. It's about care, knowledge and judgment. Those are things only you can provide, Chopper," Robin smiled gently.
Vivi nodded warmly. "Yeah doctor."
"Doctor Chopper is the BEST in the world! No one can ever replace you!" Bartolomeo wiped his tears dramatically.
Bonney grinned, leaning back. "Yeah, and you're way cuter than any doctor I've ever seen. That alone makes you irreplaceable."
Kuma gave a slow nod. "Your role… is essential."
Chopper sniffed, tears welling up in his eyes again, but this time, they were tears of happiness.
"Y-you guys…" he stammered, trying to hide his smile. "Even if you praise me like that… I won't be happy at all!"
His tail wagged uncontrollably.
Jack chuckled softly. "See? No competition here."
"Yeah!" Luffy laughed. "Chopper is our doctor forever!"
"CHOPPER-DOCTOR!!!" Bartolomeo cried again, throwing his arms up dramatically.
The ship quickly filled with laughter, the earlier tension completely gone.
"This crew is so fun," commented Ace.
"Ok Guys, I wanna go right now," said Jack to the crew.
"Jack… wait a minute. Can you cure a heart attack?" Ace asked suddenly.
"Huh?" Jack blinked, then it clicked.
'Right… Whitebeard,' thought Jack.
"Who do you want me to treat?" Jack asked, already knowing the answer.
"My father… Whitebeard," Ace said without hesitation.
Jack crossed his arms, thinking for a moment. "I can do it… but I'll need Chopper help."
"Me?" Chopper pointed at himself, surprised.
"Yes," Jack nodded. "My ability is more like… reconstruction and regeneration. I'm not a proper doctor. I need a real one to handle the medical side, stabilizing his body, monitoring his condition and giving anesthesia."
Chopper's expression slowly turned serious. "I see…"
"To be honest," Jack continued, lowering his voice slightly, "my method is pretty extreme."
The others leaned in.
"I would have to remove his heart… and regenerate a new one."
"…WHAT?!" several voices shouted at once.
Zoro raised a brow. "That sounds insane."
Sanji frowned. "You're talking about ripping out Whitebeard heart like it's nothing?"
Robin, however, looked thoughtful. "But if the regeneration is perfect… it might actually work."
Jack nodded. "The problem is, heart surgery is extremely delicate. One mistake, and it could lead to complications and it might become worse. That's why I need Chopper. He can keep Whitebeard stable while I do my part."

Ace looked at both of them, hope rising in his chest for a year he had noticed how the weak heart keep making Whitebeard sick.
Jack continued explaining, he become more serious now. "My power isn't just about healing. I can't simply pour energy into the body and expect perfect results. I have to visualize what I'm healing."
"Visualize?" Vivi asked.
"Yes," Jack said. "If I regenerate something without a clear image, it might work but it won't be optimal and if I clearly imagine a healthy heart… I can regenerate one that's even stronger than before."
Bonney whistled. "That's… actually terrifying."
Kuma gave a slow nod. "A power that rewrites the body itself…"
"Not rewrite Kuma but healing it," Jack shrugged slightly. "I can also heal passively, but this kind of surgery requires precision. I need to picture every detail, the structure, the flow, everything."

"I won't be long.... maybe one or two hours. Then I'll meet up with you," Jack assured him.
Usopp suddenly stepped forward, pointing dramatically. "Wait! A heart surgery on Whitebeard?! That's basically operating on a monster! What if something goes wrong?! What if his heart explodes?! What if.... what if YOU explode?!"

Jack sighed, half-smiling. "Just stay alive until I get back, alright?"
"Of course!" Luffy grinned.
"Bye everyone," Jack waved his hand before activating his Ikaris eternals and flew towards Mary Geoise.
