Lyon turned the SUV around, and stopped for Luciano to get in.
He jumped in, with Vittorio trailing directly behind him.
The exact moment they sat, Vittorio's phone began to buzz loudly.
"Who now?" Luciano hissed.
"No ID."
"Answer it. It could be Salva calling."
Vittorio answered, and put the phone on speaker.
They heard heavy breathing for the first six seconds, before the person on the other end of the line burst into laughter.
Luciano's fist tightened at once. "Ross Voltron."
"Dingding! Should I be flattered that you recognise my voice, Luce?"
"You're playing with fire, Ross. You've done the worst you can," his voice was a deceptive calm.
Ross noticed too, and it made his smile a little wider because it felt that good.
