Ryan glanced around, half expecting to see Leon leaning against a wall with his usual grin, or sitting on top of a broken crate, waving lazily.

The worry crawled in immediately. His mind started filling in the blanks with worst-case scenarios. _Did he get overwhelmed? Did he run into someone strong?_ They all knew Leon was strong, but this place was crawling with dangerous people.
"Do you think he got stuck with someone strong?" Ryan asked, this time louder, turning toward Maya.
