Chapter 39 - Renaros

Thirty minutes later, they all came out having showered and cleaned themselves off.

They all used different bathrooms since Elena told them to get themselves cleaned instantly. Lira used Emberlyn's, Kael used his parents and Luis used the one his siblings shared, he also had to clean it. It took him a bit longer than his siblings to get out because of that.

Coming into the living room, which also had the dining table in it, with a view of the kitchen, no wall separating it. Luis saw that breakfast was still being prepared. By Uncle Raine's wife, Zira and Luis's mother.

The living room was quite spacious, it was in the middle of the tree with sunlight coming from the top. As the middle of the tree trunk was hollowed out.

Luis said morning to Zira when he also saw his mother gaze at him, still a little scared, he turned and went to the dining table, pouring himself a drink.

Then he turned to the living room when he noticed an old man, well after thinking about it Luis thought not an old man but a gentleman who appeared on the older side. Sitting next to the ground on the carpet in front of Emberlyn, Lira, and Kael. Who seemed to have their aura being checked by them, and also being told something.

Seemingly noticing his gaze, he turned to face Luis, staring at him for a few seconds. His gaze was intense, seemingly seeing through him to the very depths of his soul.

After a few seconds, his gaze lightened, and he spoke.

"You're Luis, right?" Luis nodded.

"What are you standing for, boy? Come greet your grandpa."

"Huh,"

Luis responded. Luis hadn't known he had a grandpa, his parents never said he had any, even when he asked.

Luis looked at his mother, who nodded in return.

Luis slowly walked over standing beside Kael.

"Sit down, what are you staring at?"

Luis sat down awkwardly and a bit confused

The man sighed,

"How many people will I have to tell. I'm your dad's father."

Luis then responded awakwdly

"But I remember asking dad if I had any grandparents and he said I didn't except grandmother Isabella"

The man grumbled under his breath again. "It's because my stupid son thought I might die in the Underworld, so it was better than saying you had any."

"Now stop staring at me and close your eyes and focus on your cores like the rest of them."

Luis nodded and did as he was told. He didn't want to anger another adult or his mother by not listening to his grandfather he met for the first time. Thinking again, Luis thought, 'I definitely don't want to annoy Mom any further.'

After closing his eyes, Luis felt aura surge into him from the man, his grandfather. "You can try or reject my aura or let it roam in your body, it's your choice. The younger ones are too weak to reject it, though."

Luis had experienced this before, but he hadn't tried to reject the aura last time, so he fully focused on rejecting the aura this time.

As soon as Luis started to reject it. A wave of pressure washed over him, as if he were below a waterfall, the water pushing down on him. As if gravity were pulling him down to the ground. It didn't last long, though, even though Luis could tell his grandfather was strong and had way more aura. Luis's body was doing most of the work on its own, it rejected the aura outside from his body by itself. Thinking of the foreign aura as a disease. All it took for this to start happening was Luis to think only once to reject the aura.

Luis's body worked on its on slowly getting the aura out faster and faster. Luis could tell though that after the initial amount of aura his grandfather used he hasn't used anymore.

It only took a minute to reject the aura. After which, Luis opened his eyes to see his grandfather staring at him. There were four aura strings red in color that were coming of his grandfather, and everyone sat down. "That was faster than expected, hmmm, my grandchildren should be this good."

His gaze then went to the rest.

"I guess that's enough."

After which, the aura beams retreated. Luis then heard a few groans. Looking to his right, he noticed his siblings and cousin all sprawled on the ground. They all groaned.

"That was so tiringgggg" Kael groaned.

Then a golden flame engulfed all of them. It took all the tiredness away from them. They all blinked in shock at how fast it vanished.

"Come on, sit, stop lying down, I made the pain go away."

Their grandfather said.

Feeling weirdly rejuvenated, they all sat up, just staring at their grandfather.

"Don't you want to ask any questions? It's your first time meeting me, ask whatever you want,"

their grandfather said.

Kael and Emberlyn spoke at the same time in a curious and excited tone.

Kael asking, "What was that golden flame you used?"

Emberlyn asked, "What was the underworld place you talked about?"

Their grandfather responded to Kael first. The flame is called

*Divine Flame*

"There are different versions of Divine Flame. I used the Divine Flame of healing. There's also the Divine Flame of destruction, restoration, and so on. They are all gold in color, but they are all different blessings.

The underworld is a dangerous place, mostly unexplored. Not a place you should go unless you are a grandmaster or above tier."

Luis then asked a question.

"Are you at the grandmaster tier then? and why did you just do that, you using aura on us?"

Renaros nodded. "I am and I did that because I was checking your aura and cores."

Luis wanted to ask more questions, but before he could get the chance, his mother called everyone to come eat breakfast.
