"I look stupid, right?" Li Hao said, his eyes fixed on his lap.
"I left you guys, only to still come home like this," he continued, rubbing his thighs.
"It's fine. I'm sure you had your reasons," Wang Lai replied.
"And honestly, I should be thanking you. If you'd gone home, how else would I have witnessed and felt all of that?" he added, his gaze dropping to Li Hao's groin.
"Pervert," Li Hao protested, flushed with embarrassment as he covered himself.
"Your look contradicts its size," Wang Lai said with a wink as they drove on.
Li Hao blushed and quickly turned away before Wang Lai could notice.
Li Hao yawned awake when he felt himself floating—or rather, being held. His eyes flew open when he realized he was in Wang Lai's arms, standing in the elevator.
"Oh, you're awake," Wang Lai smiled down at him.
"When did I fall asleep?" Li Hao asked, trying to stay relaxed in his arms, his hands hanging around Wang Lai's neck.
"Since earlier."
