Chapter 274 - Chapter 274: Tiamat-Mama

Blessing of Dreams: Able to enter other people's dreams and do anything within them.

If Merlin knew Koji had a blessing like that, he would definitely be shocked out of his mind.

Merlin was a half-incubus, half-human who could interfere with dreams and even create dream worlds through his Noble Phantasm.

"Found it…"

Using the Blessing of Dreams, Koji sensed an incredibly powerful dream. It could only be the dream Merlin had used to trap Tiamat.

"We're going to see Mom, right? Hurry up, we have to go find Mama!" Lumine said eagerly.

Koji's mouth twitched. So there was a Kaslana-type junior around him too. No, wait, Lumine should count as a Kaslana-type junior sister instead.

He had no doubt she was serious. Lumine really was the kind of person who would do something like that.

Whatever. They would deal with it after getting there.

Koji and Lumine directly entered the dream Merlin had created for Tiamat.

As an outsider entering the dream, Merlin naturally noticed at once. And when he saw it was Koji and the others, he was completely dumbfounded.

What was going on here? Why were these two entering his dream?

"A blessing related to dreams… ugh, this really is a blessing gone wild." Merlin observed for a moment with unusual seriousness, the corners of his mouth twitching.

Even after living this long, he still couldn't understand a situation like Koji's.

They probably weren't here to cause trouble. Better to wait and see what they planned to do first.

Merlin chose not to interfere and instead watched from the sidelines.

Within the dream, Koji and Lumine saw Tiamat, the Mother Goddess of Creation.

She was a beautiful and gentle woman, enormous in size, her eyes closed as though she were immersed in the dream Merlin had woven for her.

A hazy radiance covered her body. There was no dangerous aura about her. Instead, she exuded warmth and gentleness, and her fair skin looked smooth and flawless.

"So big…"

Lumine's gaze landed on Tiamat's chest, and her eyes immediately went blank with awe. Tiamat's bosom was simply too overwhelming. Once her eyes landed there, they could not be pulled away.

Tiamat was truly a woman who could become her mother.

Koji took a look as well. It really was huge. No wonder people called her Tiamat-mama.

When she was in her dragon form, the scale was apparently even more absurd and astonishing.

"Aaaaa…"

A voice as pleasing as a song suddenly echoed through the dream. Merlin's heart skipped a beat, and he stared fixedly at the Mother Goddess of Creation.

As if sensing that someone had entered the dream, Tiamat slowly opened her eyes and looked at Koji and Lumine with those unusual pupils of hers.

She knew this was a dream.

But so what?

If she wished, she could break through the dream Merlin had created with ease.

"Aaaaa?"

At first, she had thought they were her children, but the aura around Koji and Lumine was far too unfamiliar, leaving Tiamat slightly puzzled.

They didn't seem to be her children…

"Aaaa… Hello, Tiamat."

Koji called out to her, and Lumine was completely stunned.

Dear, you can even speak Tiamat's language?

Blessing of Language: Mastery of the languages of all races, allowing communication without any barriers.

"Aaaaa…? You can understand what I'm saying?"

Tiamat's face lit up with delight.

After all, there were very few who could truly understand her, and even fewer who could actually speak her language.

Merlin was full of question marks too, and in the end, he could only explain it away with the classic excuse: they were outsiders. They could even speak Tiamat's language.

Koji nodded, then gave Lumine a blessing as well so that she could understand Tiamat too. That only made Tiamat even happier.

"Come here. Don't be afraid."

Tiamat's voice was soft and gentle, full of kindness and closeness, without the slightest sense of distance.

The two of them walked toward Tiamat. But as she drew near, Lumine did something utterly shocking—she threw herself straight into Tiamat's magnificent embrace.

"Lady Tiamat, you smell so nice," Lumine said affectionately.

Tiamat blinked. "Aaaa?"

Koji: "…"

Merlin: "…"

Everyone who witnessed this scene fell silent at the same time.

Merlin's heart was practically lodged in his throat now. He was terrified that such a bold act would anger Tiamat.

But Tiamat did not get angry. Instead, she gently stroked Lumine's head.

She did not dislike this sort of dependent, clingy behavior at all.

On the contrary, she rather liked it.

Even if Lumine wasn't from this world, Tiamat could still treat her as one of her children.

Lumine's face was not the sort of beauty that stunned the heavens, but it was the kind that grew more pleasing the longer one looked. It was impossible to get tired of it.

Koji covered his face helplessly.

This was the advantage of being a girl. He still couldn't bring himself to be that shameless and just dive straight into someone's chest.

"Lady Tiamat is really beautiful too," Lumine said as she struggled to pull her head out of that deep, all-encompassing softness.

Warm and sweet, impossibly comforting—it was so good she couldn't bear to leave. There really was a motherly tenderness to it.

"I like that way of calling me very much."

Tiamat was delighted. She tightened her arms even more, as if she wanted to knead Lumine straight into her body.

Caught in a deadly chest-smothering attack, Lumine suffered and enjoyed it at the same time. She was starting to run out of air.

Only when Lumine was about to stop breathing did Tiamat finally loosen her hold, allowing the blonde girl to breathe fresh air again.

She had almost drowned in Tiamat-mama's embrace.

"Lumine… as expected of you," Koji said with heartfelt admiration.

Lumine planted her hands on her hips proudly. That was just how she did things. If she wanted something, she went and did it directly.

Besides, she was a girl. A little cuddling like this was no big deal.

Merlin found it all astonishing. He hadn't expected Tiamat to remain so calm.

Still, it made sense.

Tiamat was the Mother Goddess of Creation. She held love for all living beings and possessed an overwhelming maternal nature.

"Tiamat, you know this is a dream, right?" Koji asked.

Tiamat nodded, her gaze seeming to pass right through the dream itself and land on a certain white-haired internet scammer.

She knew perfectly well that this was a dream.

But it meant nothing to her.

It could not threaten her. At most, it only delayed her footsteps—and only because she allowed it.

"!"

Cold sweat streamed down Merlin's back. Just now, when his eyes met Tiamat's, the pressure of the Mother Goddess of Creation had made even his soul tremble.

He knew very well that the reason he could keep Tiamat trapped here was not because he was strong.

It was entirely because Tiamat did not wish to shatter the dream.

Sigh. He really shouldn't have come here in the first place. This was such a troublesome mess.

Tiamat—the Mother Goddess of Creation, the Second Beast. In theory, a being on that level ought to require all seven Grand Servants.

"Tiamat, want to beat up that white-haired guy?"

The moment Koji made that suggestion to Tiamat, Merlin instantly puffed up like a startled cat.

What the hell? Was there some deep grudge here or what?

Him, a mere little Magus of Flowers, fighting Tiamat?

Would he win?

Of course not.

He would die for sure.
