"Katheryne, the commissions are done!" At the reception desk of the Adventurers' Guild, Yu Jin slapped a stack of completed commission forms onto the counter.
"Oh? It seems Mr. Yu Jin is as formidable as ever." Katheryne smiled at Yu Jin as she organized the commission forms on the table.
Ever since Yu Jin joined the Adventurers' Guild, the number of commissions he completed skyrocketed.
By now, Yu Jin's completed commissions were far and away the most in the Mondstadt region. As for comparing him to other nations, Katheryne checked the database information and nodded.
Hmm, it's the same in other nations too.
One could only blame Yu Jin for being too abnormal. Aside from the first few days of adaptation, Yu Jin would take commissions in entire stacks, and crucially, he would always complete them within the stipulated time.
"This time… is it the same as before?" Katheryne put away a stack of commission forms and placed them in the archives behind him.
"Exactly the same." Yu Jin waved his hand nonchalantly. His commission fees were accumulated at the Adventurers' Guild, and he would just come to collect them whenever he needed them.
However, it seemed these funds had barely been touched.
"Oh, by the way, how is the other Katheryne doing? Is he well?" Yu Jin looked at Katheryne and suddenly thought of the other Katheryne.
It had been a long time since he had seen him.
"Thanks to Mr. Yu Jin, he is now out on Adventure every day. And because of this, everyone has seen many sights they hadn't seen before." Katheryne recalled the magnificent scenery from his memories and couldn't help but smile.
The memories of the Katherynes were shared. If one went out on Adventure, the other Katherynes would feel the same.
This feeling of galloping across the land was something they had never experienced before.
"Heh, it seems he's doing well, so I'm relieved." Yu Jin nodded, then asked Katheryne, "Katheryne, bring over the commissions!"
Without something to do, Yu Jin always felt restless.
"Mr. Yu Jin is truly diligent." Katheryne shook his head, looking unsurprised.
He turned around, searched through the archive cabinet behind him, and pulled out a fresh roll of commission forms.
"These arrived just this morning. I remember there was an incident in Springvale where wolves attacked people, so they hope someone can go investigate."
Katheryne handed the scroll to Yu Jin, briefly explaining the general content of the commission.
"Hmm? Springvale? Don't they live by hunting in that town? Even if they were attacked by wolves, they should be able to handle it themselves, right?"
Yu Jin took the commission form, quickly scanned it, and asked Katheryne, puzzled.
There were many skilled hunters in Springvale. How could they be attacked by wolves? And even if they were attacked by wolves, they should be able to handle it themselves.
At the very least, Qingquan was there. Although Qingquan's combat ability wasn't too strong, his support ability was not bad.
There must be something fishy!
Yu Jin unfolded the commission form again, this time examining it closely.
Hmm? Must understand beast speech, and specifically be able to howl like a wolf.
Is this to communicate with wolves? Yu Jin looked at the information on the commission form, his confusion growing. But he quickly put away the commission form, ready to set off.
Although Yu Jin couldn't howl like a wolf, he could make wolves speak human language. That must be much higher than the requirements on the commission form!
"Bye bye! Katheryne!" Yu Jin waved at Katheryne, then disappeared from Katheryne's sight in a flash… Crossing the Mondstadt bridge, and going a bit further, one would arrive at a fork in the road. Turning left here would lead to the Whispering Woods, turning right would lead to Springvale, and going straight would lead to Windrise.
And Yu Jin was standing still at this fork in the road, because he saw familiar people again.
"Senior?!"
"Yu Jin?"
"Wow! A real Knight!"
Yu Jin looked closely; it was Lumine and Paimon, whom he had parted with not long ago. But why did they have an extra little follower?
Yu Jin glanced at the fiery red little girl with sparkling eyes behind Paimon and Lumine, thinking they were good at coaxing children.
"You… are you the Great Adventurer Yu Jin that everyone often talks about?" Klee jumped out from behind Lumine and Paimon, asking excitedly.
Klee had heard of Yu Jin's reputation even in solitary confinement. However, the reason for Klee's excitement was not just because he was a Great Adventurer.
Great Adventurer, it seems his mother is one too, right? Thinking of this, a glimmer of hope appeared on Klee's face.
"Big Brother Yu Jin, do… do you know where my mom is?"
"Your mom? Little one, who is your mom? Tell me. Although I don't know where he is, maybe I can help you look for him."
Yu Jin looked at Klee. He didn't even know this little one, how could he help him find his mom?
"Is… is that so? Then thank you, Big Brother Yu Jin. My mom is Alice, and I am Klee."
"Mom and Big Brother Yu Jin are both Great Adventurers. If Big Brother Yu Jin meets Mom during an Adventure later, please say hello to Mom for me, and tell him Klee is very happy in the Knights of Favonius!"
After hearing Yu Jin's words, Klee's big eyes instantly dimmed. But he quickly regained his energy.
No sadness would linger on Klee for even a second.
"Alice? The one who causes a lot of trouble?" Yu Jin clapped his hands together, immediately realizing.
Alice had a notorious reputation, having done one outrageous thing after another.
Completely unlike him; as Yu Jin, the Great Adventurer, the Great Senior, the Kindhearted Person, his reputation in the Guild was far better than Alice's.
"Trouble? What's that? But Mom teaches Klee how to make big bombs!" Klee scratched his head. He didn't understand many of Yu Jin's words, but that didn't stop his love and admiration for his mom.
"Alright… alright!" Yu Jin was momentarily stunned to see Klee so excited at the mention of bombs.
One could only say, as expected of Alice, to teach his daughter to make bombs when he was so young.
However, Yu Jin glanced at the fiery red Vision on Klee's backpack and no longer worried about these "small" issues.
Vision wielders, whether in physical fitness or elemental resistance, were far superior to ordinary people.
And Klee was a Pyro Vision wielder, so ordinary bombs probably couldn't really harm him.
"So, little Klee, Lumine, and Paimon, what are you doing here?" Yu Jin asked curiously, looking at the three, one big and two small.
"We're here to help Klee find his lost treasure!" Paimon waved his hand, saying proudly.
Klee had just affirmed him and Lumine. Although they didn't do much during the Dragon Scourge, they had at least gained everyone's recognition.
So Paimon was still immersed in the excitement of being recognized.
"What about Senior?" Lumine looked at Yu Jin, who was empty-handed, equally curious. He really wanted to know what someone like Yu Jin did all day.
"Me?" Yu Jin remembered the content of the commission and cleared his throat.
"Awooo—"
"…"
"…"
"…"
Seeing Yu Jin howl to the sky, the three little ones fell silent. Lumine and Paimon were fine; they had spent some time with Yu Jin and were mentally prepared for his way of doing things.
But Klee was not like that. He bit his finger, looking at Yu Jin in a daze. Are Great Adventurers' words so hard to understand?
Dad and Mom were sometimes like this too, always saying things he didn't understand.
"What are you doing?" Paimon asked, looking at Yu Jin with his deadpan eyes.
Now he was smart; when he saw Yu Jin do something out of the ordinary, he would ask directly! He wouldn't even bother to think, because he couldn't think of anything.
"Does my wolf howl sound realistic?"
"What? Isn't that just a Demon King (ghost howl)?" Lumine blurted out after hearing Yu Jin's words.
Yu Jin's color immediately turned pale. He didn't expect even good-girl Lumine to start complaining about him.
"Sigh~, never mind, never mind. I'll go with you to find the treasure." Soon, Yu Jin's body returned to its original color. He waved his hand, saying with a sigh of regret.
It seems this commission can't be rushed!
